With love and appreciation, I welcome you to our website! It is here that I would like to share with you the afterlife communications and spiritual experiences I have had with Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees. As many of you know, he was a member of one of the world’s most beloved R&B bands, contributing to humanity one of the most beautiful catalogs of love songs ever written.

On May 20, 2012, Robin passed away and returned to spirit life. I did not know it at the time, but my life would change completely for the better as a result of his passing. I discovered that I have a deep spiritual connection with him that has endured and strengthened since 2012. Now, I feel I am in the position to share what I have learned in order to make a positive contribution to the literature on afterlife communication, soul families, twin souls and other topics that may arise.

Many of my posts will demonstrate how a twin soul connection could manifest given that these connections very often occur after one twin dies. I did not know and never met Robin. However, I will show how spiritual connections with someone you never met are truly real. You can have many indisputable life parallels that reveal you were connected even when you did not know each other. True spiritual connections are validated and you will see this validation in my writings.

Given the level of intensity with which Robin’s spirit came through to me after his death, the strong impact he has had on my life and my evolution as a soul, I humbly consider Robin to be my twin soul, a most prominent member of my soul family and spiritual inner circle. I write this with complete confidence given that my connection with Robin has strongly lasted for six years as of the date of this writing in 2018. I will describe how I define twin souls, according to the information I was personally given, in the background section of this website.

Throughout this website, you will find posts on all of these topics, plus posts about inspirational writers that I resonate with and interesting finds and videos that you might enjoy.

It is my intention to honor Robin’s spirit and do God’s work through this website. I wish to share good spiritual information that is educational, edifying, and uplifting and most of all, truthful.

Why is this website called Paisley and Poppies?

This title was chosen to honor two very important aspects of Robin’s life.

In 2011, Robin was featured on a television show called, Who Do You Think You Are? On this show, it was revealed through extensive genealogical study that Robin had ancestors from Paisley, Scotland.

Here is the video of the program detailing Robin’s ancestry.

Here’s to saying “yes” to everybody’s “no!”

I chose to include “poppies,” in the title because of Robin’s work with the RAF Bomber Command Memorial honoring the veterans of WWII and soldiers who perished fighting for our freedoms. Poppies are a symbol of remembrance for war veterans:

The Official Poppy Appeal Single for 2011 was Bee Gees’ song, I’ve Gotta Get A Message To You, which Robin performed along with the band, The Soldiers.

The Poppy Appeal is a large fundraising campaign of The Royal British Legion which takes place each year in November. They use the money to provide support for the armed forces community:

Another reason I decided to choose this title is because of significant synchronicity I experienced concerning Robin and these 2 topics. You can read about what transpired in the synchronicity section of the blog in a post called Synchronicity and Samhain 2017.

I would also like to point out the strength of spirit that Robin showed during his participation in the Poppy Appeal and creation of the RAF Bomber Command Memorial. He had been diagnosed with cancer by this time in 2011, yet he still carried on being completely himself, singing, serving and contributing to honoring others. When most of us would have curled up in bed, Robin stayed active. He showed tremendous courage and strength of character to be who he truly was even while facing his own mortality. He was one of the world’s most beautiful and cherished singers, songwriters and composers. I feel greatly honored to be connected with his spirit, to experience him as a spiritual being, and to serve him now through this website.

In closing, I would like to share this quote. I am inspired by this near death experience and the question posed in the book, The Journey Home, by Phillip L. Berman. This is the deeper reason behind why I created this website:

“…they were joined by a “being of light” who is able, as one near-death experience put it, “to see right through me and reveal my deepest secrets.” Often the being of light talks with those who have had near-death experiences, asking them a few simple questions, the most common being, “What do you have to show me of your life?” One woman said that it was God who addressed her:  Instantly my entire life was laid bare and open to this wonderful presence, “God.” I felt inside my being his forgiveness for the things in my life I was ashamed of, as though they were not of great importance. I was asked—but there were no words; it was straight mental instantaneous communication—“What had I done to benefit or advance the human race?” At the same time all my life was presented instantly in front of me and I was shown or made to understand what counted. I am not going into this any further but, believe me, what I had counted in life as unimportant was my salvation and what I thought was important was nil.”

I can think of few things more important to ask oneself, especially when you are aware that you only have so much time on this earth. What am I going to do to benefit or advance the human race? I would like to offer this website as one way of benefiting the human race. I hope to benefit people by sharing that loving spirits can support you in your life more than you may have ever believed. More importantly, it’s not just the people you knew in one earthly life that can be the greatest catalyst for your growth.

Thank you for reading what I have to share!

With warm blessings,
