Afterlife Connections: A String of Synchronicities

Afterlife Connections: A String of Synchronicities

This post, “Afterlife Connections: A String of Synchronicities,” is inspired by the book, The Power of Flow: Practical Ways to Transform Your Life with Meaningful Coincidence by Charlene Belitz and Meg Lundstrom.

Synchronicity is a concept originally presented by Swiss psychiatrist Carl Gustav Jung. Here is what he had to say about it:

I chose this term because the simultaneous occurrence of two meaningfully but not causally connected events seemed to me an essential criterion. I am therefore using the general concept of synchronicity in the special sense of a coincidence in time of two or more causally unrelated events which have the same or a similar meaning, in contrast to “synchronism,” which simply means the simultaneous occurrence of two events.

Synchronicity therefore means the simultaneous occurrence of a certain psychic state with one or more external events which appear as meaningful parallels to the momentary subjective state—and, in certain cases, vice versa. (1)

From my own personal experience, I can say that synchronicity can be awe-inspiring and life-changing. It can truly take you on a journey of higher consciousness. You can experience a profound sense of connectedness with loved ones in spirit through it.

A String of Synchronicities

Beginning in 2012, synchronicity has been one of the primary ways I connect with Robin’s spirit. The beautiful, momentous occasions of synchronicity was what initially informed me that I shared a soul connection with him. The soul connection, which to me is a connection of our energies, led to afterlife communications that continue to this day.

As I have experienced synchronicity over the years, I have noticed patterns that led me to study the phenomenon in more depth. According to Charlene Belitz and Meg Lundstrom, some of these patterns are called strings of synchronicities. In their book, The Power of Flow, they are defined in this way:

Synchronicities can happen one after the other, as though a point is being made over and over again…it’s the sequence of occurrences that make this a string of synchronicities…because the events occur one after the other, they resonate in your consciousness and have specific meaning to you in their totality. (2)

You can read chapter two from their book about strings of synchronicities and other patterns here.

In January, 2022, I noticed a string of synchronicities occurring. I have been watching the television show Queer Eye, Season 6 on Netflix. In this season, the Fab 5 are in Austin, TX.

As of this writing on January 18th, on three separate occasions, something I read about, said to, or wrote about Robin matched in a nearly identical way to something from this show. The three events of synchronicity that matched with Robin’s energy occurred in three different episodes. When the third synchronicity occurred, I felt it was time to pay attention and dig deeper into what was going on. That is when I discovered the concept of strings of synchronicities.

Now I would like to share the three events of synchronicity chronologically, which to me create an interesting string. I definitely felt in the flow! By sharing this, I hope to support you in recognizing strings of synchronicities when they happen in your life.

Synchronicity #1: Spokes and Wheels

During the evening of January 2, 2022, I sat down with my husband to watch an episode of Queer Eye called, “Showdown at the Broken Spoke.” The Broken Spoke is a honky-tonk in Austin, TX. The Fab 5 were there to work with one of the dance instructors.

After I watched the show, I had some things to do around the house. Then I sat down and thought about the show. I was recalling that the name of the bar was Broken Spoke.

After I was done thinking about the show, I had the thought that I would like to connect with Robin’s energy. The thought just popped into my head. So, I picked up a book that I flip through once in a while called Tragedy – The Ballad of the Bee Gees by Jeff Apter. This is a book I usually just flip through because I have already read a couple of books about the Bee Gees cover to cover. I have not read this book cover to cover as a result. I just like to browse through it occasionally.

So, I flipped through some pages and looked at Bee Gees’ family photos. Then I turned to another page and saw an amazing synchronicity, the first in this string of them. I saw a mention of “spoke in the wheel.” I was really surprised because I had just been thinking of the Broken Spoke bar. Here is the exact quote:

But then, while in Australia, Barry threw up yet another road-block. He cited songwriting credits as a spoke in the wheel of their creative relationship; even their solo efforts were credited to all three brothers… (3)

What really amazed me about this was that before picking up the book, I specifically thought that I wanted to connect with Robin’s energies. I connected with his energies through this very precise synchronicity. The exact nature of it was what I found so awe-inspiring and meaningful. It felt like he was with me spiritually through this. It definitely felt like an alignment and a oneness with his spirit. To me, the writings in books about the Bee Gees represent Robin’s energies because it’s about him.

It was also educational because I was not exactly sure what the expression “spoke in the wheel” meant. Therefore, I researched it. According to collinsdictionary.com, it is a mainly British expression that means to deliberately make it difficult for someone to do what they are planning to do. Barry was saying that issues with songwriting credits were causing difficulties in the creative relationship between the brothers.

I attempted to see if there was anything else I was supposed to learn from this synchronicity, but I could not come up with anything else. It seemed it was just what the Universal energies gave me that evening to connect with Robin’s spirit. We both had something to do with spokes.

I also thought that perhaps I was synchronizing with Robin and this episode of Queer Eye because it is filmed in Austin, TX which is where his eldest son has lived. This city would be significant to Robin for that reason.

Synchronicity #2: Preserving Roses

I keep an altar table for Robin as many of you know who have been reading this blog for a while. I like to offer his spirit beautiful flowers. On January 9th, I offered his spirit a bouquet of roses that was a combination of lavender, pink and white flowers. Here is a photo of them:

Afterlife Communications Robin Gibb Flowers

A day or so after I first bought the flowers, I sat at his altar table. I said out loud to his spirit that I loved these flowers so much that I planned to dry them to keep them. I mentioned to his spirit that you can hang the flowers upside down to dry them. Then I could keep them to remember how beautiful they were.

Then on January 14th, I watched an episode of Queer Eye called “A Night to Remember.” The Fab 5 were tasked with giving makeovers for students for their prom. It was meant to be very special for them as their experiences in school had been disrupted by the pandemic. It was a really nice episode that brought tears to my eyes.

At the end of the episode, Karamo gave the Queer Eye Hip Tip called “Make Your Memories Last Forever.” The tip was about how to preserve flowers after a special occasion! He said:

“Well, you hang them in a cool, dry spot for about two weeks, let the petals dry out, and then you spray hairspray on ‘em. This is going to keep the flowers for a very, very long time.”

I was so surprised! It was a direct match with what I had spoken out loud to Robin’s spirit about preserving the flowers arranged on his altar table! I was really grateful for the tip too because I didn’t know about using the hairspray. 🙂 The Universal energies came into alignment again. It was so nice that this was connected with something specifically to do with Robin and his altar space.

It was a very meaningful synchronicity because it has been years since I liked a bouquet of flowers so much that I wanted to dry them to preserve them. So, it was a perfect alignment with the show that it matched my plans for the flowers I offered Robin’s spirit.

After this, I thought about how this was the second synchronicity in 12 days that had to do with Robin and Queer Eye in such a specific way. It definitely got my attention. I felt God and Robin’s presence in action.

Synchronicity #3: 10-Year Death Anniversary

The next day, January 15th, I sat down to write a rough draft of this blog post. During my process of writing, I come up with different ideas as to how to begin a post. I go with whatever is on my mind at the time. So, this is what I wrote on that day:

As we transitioned into this new year of 2022, I have been reflecting upon how it has been almost 10 years since Robin passed away. I thought about how I have been communicating with him through dreams, synchronicity and telekinesis for almost 10 years as well. In some ways, I can’t believe that 10 years have already gone by. Sometimes it feels like a really long time that I have been communicating with him and at other times, it feels like it’s all new. Either way, having Robin’s energy in my life has meant so much in terms of my spiritual growth and evolution. I also know that Robin continues to evolve spiritually and I hope that our connection has supported his growth as well.

I am truly moved by the enduring nature of our connection. From my end, my connection to Robin’s spirit is one of love, commitment, devotion, loyalty, faithfulness, consistency and dedication. The physical world can easily pull us away from our bonds with our loved ones in spirit. But I decided years ago that I was not going to allow this world and the things of it to dilute the beauty of our connection and what we have experienced together.

My connection with Robin is a part of my heart. What I wrote is a reflection of just how powerful his spirit has been in my life and the positive impact he has had on me. When things happen, like what happened to me with Robin’s spirit after he died, which I have documented on this website, you are going to be dedicated and devoted to the spirit of the person. At least I am. That is not going to change for me. I will always be extremely grateful to him.

Later in the evening on the 15th, I watched another episode of Queer Eye called, “Craw-Zaddy.” In this episode, the Fab 5 helped to renovate a man’s restaurant that had fell into disarray in part due to the death of his wife. They had been very close in their marriage and he was still grieving.

He sat with Karamo to have a conversation about his deceased wife. That is when I noticed the synchronicity with the rough draft I wrote about Robin just hours earlier. He talked about how he didn’t have his partner and buddy. He said, regarding her death:

“It’s gonna be 10 years this July. And to some people, that’s a long time. To me, it was yesterday.”

10 years, a long time and it being new or like yesterday all matched. I was really stunned by this. At this point, I was feeling like there was something very meaningful happening in terms of Robin’s spirit and this show because this was two days in a row with the mirroring. This is why I called this a string of synchronicities.

In 2012, it was synchronicity like this that caused me to ask in prayer whether I shared a twin soul connection with him. The fact that it continues almost 10 years later is profound to me. It shows me our spirits are very strongly connected. It truly feels like he is with me spiritually through the synchronicity.

I am convinced that one of the main ways human souls connect is through synchronicity whether they are physically alive or physically deceased.

Synchronicity #4: Being in the Flow

On Sunday, January 16th, I spent some time reflecting on the series of synchronicities that I just shared. I was thinking about and revisiting the idea that maybe I was receiving so much synchronicity with Robin and the show Queer Eye because it was filmed in Austin, TX where his son lives.

Then I started thinking about how the synchronicity seems multi-layered due to the fact of connecting to the same show but with different themes. So, I started to research multi-layered synchronicity. I found this wonderful article by Chetna Jai called, “The Power of Synchronicity and How It Can Shape Our Lives.”

In her article, she cites the book, The Power of Flow and summarizes the patterns of synchronicity. She wrote about multi-layered clusters of synchronicity. She also mentioned single synchronicities and strings of synchronicity. I resonated with what she said about the strings.

After I read her article, I decided to research the book The Power of Flow to see if I could read any information about the patterns directly. This was when I received the next synchronicity in the string: the mention of Austin, TX in the introduction of the book! Here is the excerpt I read from the Google preview:

Awakening one morning in his sunny Austin bedroom, Caylor Wadlington heard himself saying out loud, “So I’m moving to Denver?” (4)

So, there is the mention of Austin, right after I was thinking about Austin. I was blown away and having so much fun with this string of synchronicities that just kept going! I thought that this was confirmation as to why I was syncing up with Robin and the Queer Eye show so much. This had additional meaning for me because I lived in Denver, CO for a total of 13 years of my life. It was where I first had visitations from Robin’s spirit. Thus, there are a lot of connections here.

I also thought that perhaps I’m getting the synchronicity with the show Queer Eye because it is an important show spiritually on many levels. The Fab 5 do so much life-changing, transformative work for the people they assist. The show educates, uplifts and encourages many who watch it.

Conclusion

I enjoyed sharing this string of synchronicities with you. I have been documenting synchronicities in my life connected to Robin since 2012. I believe that one of the main reasons I am experiencing this with his spirit is because as a member of my soul family, he is one of my guardian angels who watches over me. I also believe Robin is a guardian angel for numerous souls on earth. Of course he would be. He was a beautiful, loving light while he was incarnate and continues to be now that he is in spirit.

As such, things will happen that will keep us connected. Indeed, the synchronicities make me feel very much like his spirit is with me and watching over me. Sometimes they are so powerful, like the ones I mentioned in this post, it feels like he is walking side by side with me energetically. Maybe you feel the same way about your loved ones in spirit. I hope so! Their love for us continues on as does our love for them.

I believe we are surrounded by more loving guardian angels in the form of our deceased loved ones then we could ever imagine. I think they like to play with us and have fun too. I feel Robin’s playful, humorous energies in a lot of the synchronicities connected to him. I think that is the point. He has always brought so much love, joy, lightheartedness and happiness into my life and I am eternally grateful.

Thank you so much for reading! May 2022 be very blessed for you and your loved ones.

Fanny, Bee Gees, Keats and a Synchrony of Letters

Fanny, Bee Gees, Keats and a Synchrony of Letters

This post, “Fanny, Bee Gees, Keats and a Synchrony of Letters” is written to honor two of my favorite things: The Bee Gees’ song “Fanny (Be Tender with My Love)” and poet John Keats’ love letters to Fanny Brawne. I also share how a letter I wrote to a dear pen pal synced up with one of Keats’ letters to Fanny. At the end of the post, I share a surprise synchronicity.

I write this post in honor of Robin and Maurice Gibb’s birthday on December 22, 2021 on which they would have been 72 years old.

For a long time, I have been wanting to write a post connecting the song “Fanny” with Keats’ love letters. It’s the perfect combination. So to begin, I would like to share a little background about John Keats and his relationship to Fanny Brawne.

About John Keats and Fanny Brawne

Here is a brief summary about John Keats from Wikipedia:

John Keats (31 October 1795 – 23 February 1821) was an English poet prominent in the second generation of Romantic poets, with Lord Byron and Percy Bysshe Shelley, although his poems had been published for only four years when he died of tuberculosis at the age of 25.[1] They were indifferently received, but his fame grew rapidly after his death.[2] By the end of the century he was placed in the canon of English literature and an inspiration for the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, strongly influencing many writers; the Encyclopædia Britannica called one ode “one of the final masterpieces”.

Jorge Luis Borges named his first encounter with Keats an experience he felt all his life.[3] Keats had a style “heavily loaded with sensualities”, notably in the series of odes. Typical of the Romantics, he underlined extreme emotion with natural imagery. Today his poems and letters remain among the most popular and analysed in English literature. Especially acclaimed are “Ode to a Nightingale”, “Ode on a Grecian Urn”, “Sleep and Poetry” and the sonnet “On First Looking into Chapman’s Homer”.  (1)

According to an introduction written by Jane Campion in the book So Bright and Delicate-Love Letters and Poems of John Keats to Fanny Brawne by John Keats (2), Keats and Brawne came to love each other while they were both living at Wentworth Place, Hampstead, London in 1819. It was originally two semi-detached houses. Fanny lived in the house right next to where Keats lived. Therefore, they were very close neighbors that could see each other all of the time.

Initially, Keats was not very attracted to Fanny. But that changed over time. Although he was not considered to be financially sound enough to marry Fanny, Keats still gave her his mother’s garnet ring which she wore indicating an informal engagement.

It was during the summer of 1819 when John Keats went away on a writing retreat to the Isle of Wight that his love letters to Fanny began. They bore witness to the all-consuming love he felt for her at times. Ultimately, their love affair was cut short by Keats’ grave illness with tuberculosis and death at a young age. Thankfully, we have his letters to reflect on and be inspired by.

I’m sure the Bee Gees’ song “Fanny” would have come in handy for John Keats to share with Fanny Brawne if it had been available to him!

A Synchrony of Letters

During this past fall, I had felt the inspiration to write this post, but I was having trouble coming up with an idea of what to say. It had been on my mind in November and I had browsed through the love letters of Keats to Brawne in the book So Bright and Delicate a few weeks earlier, but still nothing came to me.

On November 27th, I spent time writing a letter through email to my pen pal Autumn Imara, who shares a twin soul connection with Jimi Hendrix. It just so happens that November 27th was Jimi’s birthday. We were sharing ideas about the similarities between Native American and African spirituality. Autumn shared an enlightened perspective about Thanksgiving and her Native American ancestors, which you can read about here.

I wrote to Autumn about my perspective on spirituality and I shared my feelings. I quote exactly what I wrote to her below. Both African and Native American spirituality have strong connections with nature:

I resonate with any type of spirituality that loves and honors God’s creation of nature including trees, flowers, plants, rivers, streams, oceans, the wind, sunlight, moonlight and wildlife. It is so rich and life enhancing. Our ancestors had a true connection and deep relationship with these elements which I respect. I love connecting with the rhythms of nature and consider this also a part of my spirituality.

After I wrote Autumn this letter, I felt a strong pull to go back and read Keats’ book So Bright and Delicate. I kept thinking of what I could write for a blog post. I flipped through some pages of the book again. And then I came across an amazing synchronicity in one of Keats’ letters to Fanny that matched what I just wrote to Autumn a couple of hours earlier. This was a letter I did not remember reading and had not marked the page in any way

Here is the quote. The bold is mine for emphasis:

Do you hear the Thrush singing over the field? I think it is a sign of mild weather-so much better for me. Like all Sinners now I am ill I philosophize aye out of my attachment to everything, Trees, flowers, Thrushes, Spring, Summer, Claret, &c. &c. – aye everything but you. (3)

I noticed the matching of “trees, flowers” and how both Keats and I wrote about them first on our list. He mentioned the bird Thrush and I mentioned wildlife. I typed out more aspects of nature which could have been included in his etc. etc.

I felt very moved by how my email letter to Autumn synchronized with John Keats’ letter to Fanny Brawne. I felt so joyful that my guidance to read the book again lead to this meaningful synchronicity. It means even more that it is two letters synchronizing and makes the message more powerful. I think it’s fascinating how energies converge like this. When aspects of my life connect so well with something to do with Robin, like a blog post I’m thinking of writing, I feel a true attunement with his spirit.

When I begin to engage with Robin’s energies in this way, I feel like I enter into a field of magnetism that pulls me right into something that will match with him. I kept feeling guided to read Keats’ book after I wrote to Autumn and now I can see why. The energies were flowing in just the right way.

While I was in the process of doing research for this post on Saturday, December 18, 2021, I received another synchronicity which continued to signify this attunement and alignment.

A Dog Named Fanny

On December 18th, my husband watched the Marvel Comics movie “Black Widow.” I didn’t watch it because I was busy reading about Keats and Fanny.

After a while, I needed a break from reading. So, I sat down close to him to hang out with him. The movie was nearing the end, so I just watched along, kind of detached because I did not know what was going on. 🙂

My husband wanted to watch the end credits of the movie because they show a scene introducing you to another upcoming Marvel movie. Therefore, I continued to sit with him to watch it.

I watched as a woman got out of a truck and then called to her dog. To my great surprise, her dog’s name is Fanny! I looked at my husband and said, “I can’t believe that dog’s name is Fanny.” Here are some screenshots:

I shared with him that I had just been thinking about the Bee Gees’ song “Fanny” and reading Keats’ letters to Fanny Brawne all afternoon. Then, I sit down to hang out with him during the last few minutes of a movie and encounter a dog named Fanny. What are the chances of that? It was an amazing connection with Robin’s spirit and the “Fanny” theme.

The timing was impeccable. It was like it was all meant to go together. I feel so grateful for this.

This is what I mean when I say that when it comes to Robin, the Universe magnetically pulls together events in my life that match and have to do with him in some way. It has been happening for years. It is synchronicity like this that leads me to feel the twin soul and soul family connection with him the strongest.

Robin really loved dogs so it’s nice that the synchronicity showed up as a dog named Fanny! He would like that.

I share this story and others on this website because I know that many people experience similar uplifting synchronicity when it comes to twin soul, soul mate or soul family connections. Sometimes it helps to see that someone else is experiencing the same thing, especially when the person involved is deceased. So, I hope you can find something you can relate to in the stories I write about concerning Robin’s spirit. I find great joy in writing about them.

Thank you very much for reading! I truly appreciate it and hope you enjoyed this. Happy Holidays to you and your family and a very blessed New Year.

Happy Birthday to Robin and Maurice in Spirit. You are remembered, cared for and very loved.

My Interview with MysticMag: Afterlife Communication and Mystical Experiences

This post is about my interview with MysticMag: afterlife communication and mystical experiences.

I recently had the pleasure of being interviewed by author Sarah Kirton who wrote the article, ‘Stayin’ Alive’ with Christina Samuels. You can read the article here.

On their blog, you can find articles on psychic readings, tarot cards, astrology, spirituality, love, relationships, yoga, energy healing, mediumship, and personal growth.

In the interview, I shared perspectives on my afterlife twin soul connection with Robin. I also answered questions about afterlife communication and grief and whether my connection with Robin led me to seek deeper knowledge about the afterlife.

After the interview, I started thinking about how afterlife communication relates to mystical experiences. So, that is what I would like to talk about next.

Afterlife Communication and Mystical Experiences

When you think about it, many forms of afterlife communication fall within the domain of mystical experiences. Whether it is a powerful synchronicity or dream visitation, we are deeply affected by these unexpected phenomena that we are a part of but that ultimately, are being orchestrated by a power much greater than us.

According to Forrest Rivers in the article, Divine Signs and Unseen Ties: Synchronicities, Mystical Experiences and Psychic Phenomena:

The mystical experience is an awe-inspiring event, recounted through the ages by mystics, that can be described as a transcendent moment of knowing. The occurrence leaves one with a deep and intuitive understanding that they are part of a greater whole. During such an encounter, one may experience a range of emotions that include gratitude, humility and wonder. (1)

I have experienced exactly what he said on many occasions over the years in my communications with Robin’s spirit. I’ll bet you have experienced this too!

Now I would like to share an example of an afterlife communication I recently experienced with Robin that was mystical in nature.

On Monday, November 8, 2021, I was thinking about cosmic love poems. I love poetry that refers to stars, galaxies, planets and the moon with beautiful imagery. So, I did a google search on them.

As I scroll down the page, I came across an entry for “Cosmic Love Poem – The Poetry of Rob Radcliffe.” I thought, “Hmm, Rob Radcliffe? Didn’t Robin once use the pseudonym ‘Radcliffe’ when he was in the hospital?” I had not thought about this for a long time, but seeing the entry for the poem jogged my memory.

I began another google search to see if I could find confirmation that Robin Gibb once used the pseudonym “Radcliffe” while he was in the hospital to conceal his true identity. It took me about a half-hour to find the confirmation, but I did. Here is a quote from his wife from thefreelibrary.com:

She said: “I hate it when I find empty Ensure canisters. He would have these drinks of vitamins because he struggled to digest food. I have also found his hospital wristbands with the name Robin Radcliffe. He made up a false surname from the first hospital he attended, John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.” (2)

I felt sad to read about this again. But in a way, I feel like there is a blessing occurring. It is healing to now associate Robin’s pseudonym with a beautiful cosmic love poem, not just the time he was in the hospital. It is very symbolic of the loving, transcendent, healed and whole state Robin now resides in.

The Healing Power of Mystical Experiences: Afterlife Connections

This is a good example of how afterlife communication in the form of synchronicity can help heal grief and mend our hearts. It is very much the activity of God, the Infinite Creator, flowing through our lives to bring this divine healing.

It is the sentiment expressed in this beautiful song by Singh Kaur and Kim Robertson called “Mender of Hearts.” It is a love song to God. If you have never heard it, I highly recommend it for healing, especially if you are going through a difficult time. Here are some of the lyrics:

You are the mender, the mender of of hearts.

You are the sustainer of all.

You are the mender of the wounds of life.

You are the sustainer of all.

In your heart You care for everyone.

Within all hearts, in everyone.

Rob Radcliffe’s poetry is a mystical healing balm and a gift. It’s a beautiful poem which you can read here. In his introduction, he briefly mentions quantum entanglement.

It’s so fascinating how researching ‘cosmic love poems’ led me to a writer whose full name is a nearly identical mirror to the pseudonym Robin Gibb chose. I could feel Robin’s presence so clearly and it really felt like his spirit was with me. I felt very in sync with his energy. This message points directly to him. It was very meaningful for me to see the name “Rob Radcliffe.”

This reminder of Robin’s spirit gave me the mystical feeling of awe, wonder and gratitude that was just described above. I am in awe that things to do with him show up in my life so unexpectedly.

It came as a complete surprise to find the poetry of Rob Radcliffe as I had never heard of it before. But as soon as I saw his name, I knew something was up. I feel led and guided to this.

That was the way Robin’s spirit spoke to me on that particular day. The interconnectedness of all of these details felt wonderful. Through this synchronicity, I felt a Oneness and Unity with God, the universe and Robin’s spirit that is characteristic of mystical experiences. There is definitely a healing presence there bringing all of this together.

This quote by Frank Joseph, author of Synchronicity as Mystical Experience: Applying Meaningful Coincidence in Your Life, sums it up well:

Properly nurtured, synchronicity is the true mystical experience of our times, that personal connection between us and the creative consciousness that pervades everything—from our unspoken thoughts to the swirl of whole galaxies. (3)

I hope you liked this post! It was fun connecting you with MysticMag. It is informative and a very enlightening resource. Enjoy!

In this post, I would like to examine whether there are hints of the twin soul in past relationships that we have.

I know many of you reading this have soul connections of your own that are deep and meaningful for you. Whether it is a twin soul, soul mate, past life, or soul family connection, I imagine they have made a significant difference in your life on many levels.

Autumn Imara, who shares a twin soul connection with Jimi Hendrix, makes this point eloquently in her blog post, Why Twin Souls Really Exist, and How to Deal with Skeptics:

Twin soul connections are like spiritually transformative experiences – they always impact you in some way, in a way that truly affects your life. That’s what makes them so amazing. Twin souls are not “superior beings”, though; they’re very human, at least that’s how I’ve felt. What they bring is a truly uplifting, unconditional love, which can help bring themselves and others to God. And that’s what makes twin souls unique, and very real to me. (1)

I strongly agree with Autumn in terms of the twin soul connection I share with Robin. Before his spirit came into my life, I did not know that such a strong bond and unconditional love could exist with someone who was deceased that I had never met in this lifetime. I had never experienced such powerful, precise spirit communication in the form of synchronicity and dream visitations with anyone else prior to Robin’s passing.

So, his presence in my life has truly been spiritually transformative. It helped me learn what happens when you share a nearly identical spiritual vibration with another soul. It opened me up to a whole other world and life beyond the limited third dimensional world I now reside in. I’m sure many of you who are experiencing soul connections feel similar to how I feel.

Are There Hints of the Twin Soul in Past Relationships?

So, since the twin soul connection is such a powerful connection, I would like to explore whether there are notable hints of the twin soul in past relationships. Have you ever noticed that as you look back on your life, there were hints of your twin or soul connection in the close relationships you had in the past? Maybe the relationships were not necessarily close, but were significant in some way.

From hindsight, we may be able to see that they were there with us all along, even while we did not know them yet. This speaks to the power of twin souls: their energy is there and you can be connected to it and impacted by it even when you don’t yet know you have a twin soul.

This is something I have noticed as I have pondered my connection with Robin. There were hints of his energy there with me throughout my life in the people I was either close to or associated with on some level. These particular people had traits and characteristics that mirrored Robin in very interesting and precise ways. These traits and characteristics are the hints. I can see this now from my current perspective.

Below are some examples of people in my past that hinted at my connection with Robin long before I knew I shared a soul family/twin soul connection with him. As far as the hints go, they range from subtle to more direct. I had a lot of fun observing them. I consider the hints to be very similar to the life parallels I share with him which I wrote about here:

Twin Souls and Life Parallels

By sharing this perspective, I hope to encourage others to look at their own life patterns. See if you can notice the energy of your soul connection in the traits and characteristics of the people from your past. It could give you some interesting insights.

My Past Relationships Hinting at My Twin Soul Connection with Robin

1. B.G.—the initials of my best girlfriend in college: I went to college in the 1980’s in Massachusetts. While there I had a best friend. Her first name began with a “B” and her last name began with a “G.” I started thinking about that the other day and it made me smile.

For years, B.G. and I did everything together. We had meals together, went to sporting events, movies, and concerts. She is still in my life.

I can’t help but feel a connection to Robin’s energy as a result of my close connection with her and the fact that she carried the initials of Robin’s band. After all the Bee Gees are called that because of all the people associated with the band that had the initials, “B.G.,” such as Barry Gibb, Bill Gates, Barbara Gibb, and Bill Goode.

Here is an excerpt from The Ultimate Biography Of The Bee Gees: Tales Of The Brothers Gibb highlighting this:

This was the beginning of how they were christened. The organiser was named Bill Goode – the first B.G. He popped his head out and at first he wondered what all the fuss was about, so he came out of his office and saw these three young kids singing.

He was so knocked out that he introduced us to a Brisbane disc jockey whose name was Bill Gates – another B.G. In those days the name was just the two initials, B.G., then it was elongated to Bee Gees.” Bill Gates continued. “The actual naming of the group took place at the Redcliffe Speedway. Barry pointed out that his initials, Bill Goode’s and mine were all B.G. so the name ‘B.G.s’ almost wrote itself.” (2)

I think it is so interesting that I had a B.G. with me for so long and consider it a hint of the twin soul!

Does anyone you are close to have initials that mirror your twin or soul connection in some way? It may be a fun and interesting exercise to explore this.

2. Acquaintance named Boddie: Many years ago, I had an acquaintance who had the last name “Boddie.” I thought to myself, “Is that a hint of Robin?” Maurice, Robin’s twin brother, called Robin “Bodding” when they were children. So, it got me thinking. His name was very close to “Bodding.” I realize it’s not an exact match. That is why I consider it a “hint.”

This is the only person I have known by this name and I would have to say he was a significant acquaintance who taught me some important karmic lessons. I have also had significant synchronicity regarding this person related to dates. So, that’s the main reason his name stands out to me and makes me wonder if there was a connection with Robin there.

Here is a quote from The Ultimate Biography Of The Bee Gees: Tales Of The Brothers Gibb illuminating the twins use of nicknames:

As the twins grew, Barbara recalled that, “Robin used to call Maurice ‘Woggie’, and Maurice used to call Robin ‘Bodding’. It was always, ‘It’s not me, it’s Woggie.’ If you mentioned anyone to them, they used to say, ‘Oh yes, it’s a friend of him.’ If it was to do with the twins, anybody they knew was a friend of him!” (3)

After reading this quote, I realized that this person’s name is a combination of both Robin and Maurice’s childhood nicknames. So, to me, that’s interesting in and of itself. It’s just a feeling I get to pay attention to this.

3. Musician I dated who was Robin’s age: Back in the 1990’s, I dated a guy who had some remarkable similarities to Robin. He was a musician and a piano player. Robin was also a piano player as mentioned here in The Ultimate Biography Of The Bee Gees: Tales Of The Brothers Gibb:

Robin dabbled with the harmonica on occasion as well as continuing his piano development while Maurice had added mandolin to his existing repertoire. (4)

The man I dated is Caucasian and wore his hair long in a pony-tail, like Robin did at some stages in his life. Here is a photo from Pinterest. But the main thing that stands out to me is that he is pretty much the same age that Robin would have been if he were alive.

I did some rudimentary research on him and found out he is now 71 years old which is exactly the same age Robin would be if he were alive now. Robin was born December 22, 1949 and the man I dated was born a few weeks later. So, Robin was just a few weeks older than him.

Yes, I once actually dated someone who was approximately 17 years older than me. Why would I do that? Was he a hint of Robin? Of all the examples I have just given, to me this is the strongest indication of a hint of my soul’s connection with Robin. My soul was drawn to someone who was just like him in some of the most significant ways: music, hair and age.

Ultimately, the man I dated and I were at very different places in our lives and the relationship did not work out. If we had stayed together, he would be almost 72 years old, while I just turned 55 years old recently.

But, I’m grateful from hindsight to see I was picking up on Robin’s energy through this man. To me, it is so clear. Dating someone in the past with approximately the same age difference that I had with Robin at the time of his death is very powerful, especially since dating someone that much older than me is not something I normally did before I got married.

Conclusion

I think it is interesting to ponder all the ways in which we are interconnected. I had no idea at the time that the different people I was connected with and in relationship with would end up pointing to Robin’s energy in such a specific way. Some people may brush all of this off as just a coincidence, but my gut tells me it’s more than that. I think it is something to at least consider. It’s comforting to know that the energy of your twin or soul family member can be with you indirectly, for years potentially, through other people you befriend or care for.

Then when your soul connection does come into your life you can say, “Ah, you were there with me all along in these different people, in these different forms.” I think that is beautiful and I’m grateful.

Thank you for reading!

I offered Robin’s spirit food, drink, floral and candle offerings on Samhain, October 31, 2021.

How Afterlife Communication Helps Reduce Loneliness

How Afterlife Communication Helps Reduce Loneliness

Loneliness is a common phenomenon amongst humans. Some would even say it is epidemic. So, I thought I would like to spend some time writing about how afterlife communication helps reduce loneliness. Reduce is the key word, not eliminate it entirely of course.

Since this website is about afterlife communication with Robin, I thought it would be interesting to explore how his spirit and other loved ones in spirit can help alleviate some of our loneliness, even though they are no longer here in bodily form. It is amazing what our unseen companions and loved ones are capable of and I’m so grateful everyday for the experiences I have had.

This post is also inspired by the Bee Gees’ lonely-themed songs. Recently, I have been pondering just how many songs the Bee Gees wrote that had the theme of loneliness. Like many other singers and songwriters, they were tapping into this ubiquitous human condition.

Loneliness Amongst Humanity

According to The Cost of Loneliness Project:

Loneliness is often defined as the distressing feeling generated by a lack of meaningful, intimate, and reciprocal interactions. One might describe it as emotional isolation. Exacerbated by its gross under-recognition, loneliness is rapidly emerging as the great public health crisis of our time.

I have personally experienced loneliness off and on throughout my life. This pandemic exacerbated that feeling. Even though I am primarily an introvert, I still value and need meaningful social connections. That was reduced greatly last year and still to some extent this year. I have felt the emotional isolation mentioned in the quote above.

I really felt the pain of loneliness and missed being able to talk to people face to face without wearing a mask. I missed being able to hug people, go out for a meal at a restaurant or go to a class in a yoga studio. It was really horrible. It made me realize how much I do need loving and friendly connections with kind people. I know from experience that many others feel or felt the same way I do because I have read about it.

There is so much loneliness in the world that there is another website devoted exclusively to it called The Loneliness Project. It is a beautiful site where people can come and share their stories of loneliness. Somehow, loneliness is eased a bit when a person can open up and be honest about how lonely they really feel.

I would highly recommend both of these websites I have cited to build a sense of empathy for what some people are going through. It may apply to you personally and maybe you can receive a sense of comfort in one or both of these websites or at least find something you are able to relate to.

Bee Gees’ Lonely-Themed Songs

Given what was just mentioned above, there is a good reason singers and songwriters turn to loneliness as a common theme in their songs. People can relate to this and turn to music for comfort, healing and understanding.

Here are some of my favorite Bee Gees’ loneliness songs with the lyrics from azlyrics.com:

Run to Me

Run to me whenever you’re lonely. (to love me)
Run to me if you need a shoulder

For Whom the Bell Tolls

When the lonely heart breaks
It’s the one that forsakes
It’s the dream that we stole

Rings Around the Moon

If you’re lonely in the black of night
If you call me, I’ll be there

Another Lonely Night in New York

Another lonely night in New York.
The city of dreams just keeps on getting me down.

Heart Like Mine

Night grows cold
I’ve been lonely so much

I Can’t See Nobody

I walk the lonely streets; I watch the people passing by
I used to smile and say hello. Guess I was just a happy guy

Living Together

Take this lonely soul, the water or the wine
A chance to make you mine
I lay my body on the line

I’m sure there are many other Bee Gees’ lonely-themed songs, but I think the point is made with the ones I mentioned. They really tapped into this emotion and human experience because they knew and understood that people could connect with this. They make loneliness and sadness sound beautiful which is one of their gifts as singers and songwriters. This is probably due in part to each brother’s own personal sense of loneliness that they could draw from.

How Afterlife Communication Helps Reduce Loneliness

Many, many people around the world have experienced various forms of afterlife communication. If I had the chance to talk to some of them, I would imagine they would tell me that on some level, the communications helped them to miss their loved ones a little less and helped them to feel a little less lonely.

I’m not saying after death communication completely removes the loneliness of life in general or the loneliness that results from “losing” a loved one to physical death. I am saying that it can lessen the intensity of the loneliness.

Personally, it reduces my loneliness in the third dimension to know that loved ones in spirit are there and are willing and able to communicate. Robin and other loved ones in spirit I have connected to have added a beautiful and comforting dimension to my life just with their ongoing presence and willingness to stay connected to me.

Since loneliness is about the lack of meaningful connections, it would follow that having meaningful connections with loved ones in spirit could help reduce loneliness on some level.

Here are some key manifestations of afterlife communication from the categories of synchronicity and telekinesis and how they can help reduce loneliness. I will share my personal stories with Robin.

Synchronicity:

On October 13, 2021, late in the evening, I decided to browse through one of my Bee Gees’ books called Tragedy: The Ballad of the Bee Gees by Jeff Apter. My husband gave this book to me a few years ago as a gift. I have never read it cover to cover though because I have already done so with two other Bee Gees’ books I have. So, with this book, I just flip through it from time to time.

On this evening, I opened to a page where the story was told of how the brothers used to like singing in bathrooms to practice their singing. Here is the interesting quote I read:

When not performing for an audience, Barry, Robin and Maurice would rehearse wherever they could find a suitable space. A neighbor let them use her cellar; they also found a user-friendly echo in the men’s toilet at the John Lewis department store. They liked the ambience there so much, in fact, that for the rest of their musical lives, the Gibbs preferred to rehearse and record in rooms that reminded them of that toilet. They’d ask each other, ‘Does it sound like John Lewis?’ (1)

As I read this, I remembered that the Bee Gees’ used to like singing in bathrooms. I wrote about this in this post:

Will You Wait for Me?

I knew they liked singing in Lewis’ department store because I read about this in another biography. But I didn’t know the full name of the store, John Lewis, because it was not mentioned. So, as I read the Apter biography, I thought to myself that it was a little more new information. It made me think of the late African American congressman, John Lewis.

The next evening, October 14th, my husband said to me that he wanted to show me a video. He likes the videos on YouTube showing unlikely caring relationships between animals called The Dodo.

The video he showed me was about a relationship between an injured cow and a dog. As I watched the video about the cow’s healing and recovery, I received the most amazing synchronicity.

The narrator mentioned that the cow’s name is John Lewis! Here is the video:

This screen shot shows the name John Lewis:

John Lewis

I was so happy and amazed by how events in my life synchronized so precisely with what I read about Robin and the Bee Gees just 24 hours earlier.

This has happened to me before over the years, where what I am reading in a Bee Gees’ biography mirrors what is going on in my daily life. I see it as a sign of my connection with Robin’s spirit. I wrote about this here as well:

McKenzie and Massachusetts

This time, I have my husband to thank for this as well as God and Robin. I love that my husband is a part of all of this and that is how it should be.

This is how afterlife communication can help reduce loneliness. The expansiveness, awe and wonder that can arise within a person when receiving synchronistic experiences can help reduce loneliness because you can really feel the presence of your deceased loved one.

This synchronicity caused me to feel so loved by this amazing force, which you could call God. This interconnection between Robin’s spirit, my husband and me is the essence of what alleviates loneliness. This makes me feel like my connection with Robin is still very strong even almost 10 years after his death. It makes me feel like his spirit is very close to me. This is an antidote to loneliness.

Telekinesis:

Well, what could help reduce loneliness more than to know your loved one’s spirit is actually in your home moving your things?:) Robin let me know many times over the years that I really was not alone, even if at the time I felt like I was. Yes, spirits can come into your home and probably do all the time. It’s good that Robin let me know, in no uncertain terms, that he was there and had the skills to move objects.

My favorite examples of this is when he moved my necklaces with spiritual symbols in 2013. He also gifted me with an infinity symbol made of dental floss and left it on my tea pot handle, also in 2013. To me, that sounds exactly like the sort of thing Robin would come up with! It’s thinking outside the box in the most unique of ways and I love his spirit for this always.

Telekinesis includes moving a physical object with non-physical energy and creating something, like a design, with a physical object from non-physical energy. This is something Robin taught me that I did not know before his passing.

These experiences with his spirit are incredibly priceless to me and ones I will never, ever forget or ever take for granted. If you experience something like this with a loved one on the other side, you are BLESSED beyond measure. The excitement that these actions by Robin generated within me definitely help reduce loneliness I feel in my life. I still feel excited about these things even though they occurred over 8 years ago. But time is not a factor when it comes to spiritual matters.

I’m sure our loved ones in spirit know the impact they have when they do these things. I’m sure they love our ongoing appreciation of what they have done as well. I’m pretty certain that Robin loves it that I have shared with whomever is interested what he is able to do as spirit!

Thank you so much for reading! I hope you can see how afterlife communication is a sacred gift that truly can help reduce loneliness. It is so kind of our loved ones in spirit to reach out and still make such a powerful difference in our lives.
