Just as the right side of the human body is always sending signals to the left side of the human body, I believe that twin souls are energetically conjoined and are always sending signals to each other, even when separated by continents and being completely unknown to each other.

We are always sending signals to each other even after death when residing on different planes of existence. The signals can become even stronger when this is the case. It can seem like your twin soul mate is following you or walking by your side even while they are in the afterlife.

Sometimes, the signals are sent through other people.

In the past, I have written about how characteristics of Robin show up in people around me (See Maying in December post). It is an incredibly interesting phenomenon and amazing to experience.

My personal experience is that when you have a twin in spirit, people on Earth can reflect some of their essence or very particular traits about them that really stand out. The miracle is that you can actually meet these people in the most unexpected ways.

Mirrored Life Stories

On June 24, 2019, my husband and I were driving on the interstate on the way to a dental appointment. But, we got a flat tire and had to cancel it. We called AAA for assistance. Instead of driving with a spare, we decided to be towed to our garage where we could buy a new tire.

My husband and I sat in the front seat with the tow truck driver. He was a nice guy and a good conversationalist. He started telling us stories about the different experiences he’s had as a tow truck driver. It seemed like he had some things to get off of his chest and I enjoyed hearing his stories.

Somehow, we got to talking about some of the other jobs and experiences he’s had in his life.

He talked about how he went through a divorce which was due in part to being away a lot working in the shipping industry. On one occasion when he came back, his house was foreclosed on. He said he did not see his children for 12 years, but has since reunited with them and even attended his daughter’s wedding.

As he was talking, alarm bells were going off within me. This story made me think of Robin. I felt like I was talking to him in another person because Robin’s life story has very close parallels.

I had read about Robin’s life story years ago and was aware of his divorce to his first wife and estrangement from his young children.

This gave me the opportunity to respond compassionately to this man in the way I would have responded to Robin had I had the opportunity to talk with him about this.

It was a rare and healing moment. It’s a perfect example of how a twin’s life story can show up in another person you are with. It may not always be the most positive of stories that you hear when it comes to your twin (or other loved one in spirit), but it will definitely be something that will get your attention.

I’m amazed by this because of all the tow truck drivers in the area, we met one with a very similar life story as Robin’s. He not only had the story, but was willing to share it. Or maybe there was some spirit orchestration going on there.

This may be a fairly common life story for many people, but I cannot remember anyone sharing a story like this with me in such precise detail.

I’ve never been grateful for a flat tire, but in this case, I was grateful.

Twin Soul Reminders: Four Key Factors

In case you are not familiar with how Robin’s life story matches our tow truck driver’s, I will outline this for you now. Then you will see why I felt like I was talking with him through this person.

There are four parallel factors that I would like to highlight. Please click on the links for more information about this aspect of Robin’s life story. I share these stories with no judgment on my part because I love Robin unconditionally as my spiritual partner and member of my soul family. Sometimes divorce is a part of life that hopefully the parties involved can grow and learn from.

I’m sharing the brief excerpts so I can demonstrate the parallels with the tow truck driver and why he reminded me of Robin:

  1. Divorced due in part to long separations because of work:

These excerpts are from The Ultimate Biography Of The Bee Gees: Tales Of The Brothers Gibb.

Regarding Molly, Robin’s ex-wife:

On May 22, 1980, Molly told reporters, “I have hardly seen Robin for the past three years, and I have sadly come to the conclusion that our marriage is over. There is no one else involved, but there comes a point when a woman has to say she has had enough. I have filed for divorce and the papers are due to be served tomorrow. (1)

According to Tom Kennedy:

“Of course, he was away a lot of the time, and when they had the children, she brought them up on her own … The discipline came from Molly … because Robin would spoil them because he didn’t see them all that often. There were times when she was living in [England] and he was a tax exile. It was a difficult existence.” (2)

  1. Not seeing children for many years:

Here are some details from The Telegraph in a 2008 article by Olga Craig:

Before long the constant touring took its toll on Gibb’s marriage to his first wife, Molly Hullis, with whom he had two children, Spencer, 30, and Melissa, 28. Divorce was inevitable and Molly was granted custody of the children when they were six and four. She forbade him to see them. Gibb fought a lengthy, but ultimately unsuccessful, court battle and didn’t see his children for six years. (3)

From The Ultimate Biography Of The Bee Gees: Tales Of The Brothers Gibb:

Robin went on to reveal that a considerable financial burden had been placed on him over and above any emotional ones. Clearly hurt by the whole business, he explained that the money aspect was only part of his unhappiness, claiming to have seen his children Spencer and Melissa only once during a three-year period. “I have had to pay out at least £ 1 million, but there were other things, too, that destroyed me emotionally.” (4)

  1. House-related problems:

When our tow truck driver came home from being away at work, he found that his house had been foreclosed on. Robin went through a traumatic incident with his home upon returning as well. What the tow truck driver said reminded me of this, although the circumstances are different:

From The Ultimate Biography Of The Bee Gees: Tales Of The Brothers Gibb:

He (Robin) alleged that, with the knowledge of the local police, he and a private detective had broken into the couple’s Weybridge home the previous summer to get evidence of the purported conspiracy. Police confirmed that an incident was reported in August, 1980, in which he broke into his home after telling police that he needed to do this because he had no keys. “I got into the house by smashing a window…” (5)

  1. Reconciliation with children years later:

For Robin and his children, this story had a happy ending as they were able to reconnect and create loving relationships with each other. This 2008 article from The Telegraph by Olga Craig goes into detail. Here is an excerpt mentioning their reconciliation:

Eventually, when Spencer was 12 and Melissa 10, he was granted a meeting. He knew it would be a delicate balancing act. ‘I was too nervous for tears,’ he says. ‘Re-establishing myself as their dad was slow and hard.’ The turning point came when the children would ring up saying they wanted to come and see him. ‘Then it got to the stage where they would just arrive unannounced, that was the best moment.’ (6)

Note: Just because I refer to an article here does not mean I agree with all of the opinions expressed in it. Some of the remarks made about the Bee Gees’ music are less than complementary and I don’t share the same viewpoints. I include the articles because they are references and provide the information I need to make my points. In this case, I could not find this information in any other location. The Daily Mail has information, but FYI, their site is infected with malware as of July 16, 2019, so I did not want to include their articles. Thank you for understanding!

You can see lots of pictures of Robin with his children here showing their reconciliation. I’m so happy that they reconciled, were able to be close and share their lives together!

Sometime Signs Are Not What You Would Expect

I had mixed feelings about writing this post because a part of me did not want to write about the more painful aspects of Robin’s life. But, it’s a good example of a strong reflection of him in another person, so I decided to share this in as respectful way as possible.

It’s also important to be real and show the truth of a person’s life, the ups and the downs. Robin went through a lot and you can feel the pain of what he went through in the above excerpts that I shared. It’s important to know who someone really is and what they’ve been through. This shapes who they are and how they interact with the world.

Our tow truck driver was certainly a reminder to me of what Robin went through. If you are following this website, it’s also good for you to know more about him as a person and what he went through personally (if you didn’t know already).

People in the public eye are human beings who go through hurt, pain and difficulties like the rest of us. The difference is they are going through it publicly with a great loss of privacy. That adds to the pain. That’s why I feel that fame is a double-edged sword.

Robin was living his life as best he could to serve humanity through his music. This was what he was meant to do in this life, along with his brothers.

There are so many pressures in the music business that I could not begin to imagine. Sometimes relationships and marriages don’t make it. If we could walk a mile in Robin’s shoes, maybe we could understand a tiny fraction of what it felt like. I realize I cannot know or fully understand.

Spiritual Twins: Different Lives

Even though I share numerous life parallels and synchronicity with Robin that cause me to feel twinned with him, my life is completely different from what his was like. It’s quieter and much more private. I would say we are on opposite ends of the spectrum in that regard.

I have no idea what it’s like to be in the public eye as a famous singer or in any other capacity. I have never gone through a divorce and I do not have children. I have traveled to several different countries over the years, but nothing on the scale of travel of what Robin experienced. I’m an introvert and like to be alone a lot, so I don’t think I’d do too well with being in the public eye. So, I just offer compassion, empathy and understanding to him.

Note: While I was just reading and editing the above text about how I’m an introvert, I heard my husband talking on the phone in another room telling someone that he’s kind of introverted! This type of synchronicity with Julian happens a lot when I’m writing for Robin. 🙂

Given how different our lives actually were/are, it’s amazing that I do share so many parallels and synchronicities with Robin that appear in my everyday life. Such is the nature of spiritual connections. They transcend earthly differences across all levels, time and space.

I believe that one of the reasons I have this soul connection with Robin is to share how two people, who appear extremely different externally, can match, mirror and synch up in ways that show we are one on a deeper spiritual level. This is a message that needs to be reinforced.

I feel that on this day in June, Spirit wanted to get a strong message across to me about Robin. I felt his presence there with me when we were in the somewhat scary situation of being stuck on the side of the road with a flat tire with cars going by at 80 miles an hour. It was nice to have a reminder of Robin’s presence. This is how our loved ones in spirit communicate. They mysteriously know how to show up in the right place at the right time through other people.
