My Guest Post

My Guest Post

I was recently invited to share a guest post on the website of Andrea Mai. She is the twin soul of Prince Rogers Nelson and a very talented photographer. Here is the post:

I found out about Andrea through my research on twin souls. She does very interesting work with Electronic Voice Phenomenon (EVP). Here is a link explaining a little bit about this:

I contacted her through email and exchanged some enlightening stories, both of us sharing our experiences with having a twin soul on the other side.

Afterlife Communications
Afterlife Communications

What made me relate to Andrea, and trust her enough to share some of my experiences regarding Robin, was a passage from her post, http://andreamaicreative.com/twin-flames-life-on-earth-and-life-after-death/

She explained that a twin soul connection is made quite clear after one twin passes away because they announce their presence with you. It is my belief that this is true in some cases. It may not be true in all cases. but it is true in mine.

Afterlife Communications

This statement of Andrea is 100% true for me in my experience with Robin. He found me in Colorado after he passed away and announced his presence through dreams, synchronicity and telekinesis. This fact is even more powerful given that while he was alive in the physical, he didn’t know I existed.

I could not deny that I had a spiritual connection with Robin, but I was very confused as to what it was for quite some time. I did not understand why I felt he was a member of my soul family. It took years of studying his life for me to see the twin soul parallels that we share. It took me six long years before I was ready to share anything publicly about my twin soul connection with Robin because it took me this long to learn about what really made us twin souls and to truly comprehend the situation.

You may think that is a long time, but when you are married and already have a busy life, it’s not so easy to figure this out. There is an incredible amount of information and misinformation about twin souls on the internet.

Since I knew nothing about this type of connection, I had to study everything from square one. I studied everything from soul families, soul groups, oversouls, twin souls, twin rays, soul mates, primary soul mates and twin flames. There’s a lot out there and often you find writers defining the same connection in completely different ways. If you have studied any of the connections I just listed, you know what I’m talking about.

It is also complicated by the fact of who Robin was and who I am, which is someone very much not in the public eye. I have a small circle of friends and no aspirations to be famous whatsoever. I am a quiet introvert who is very thoughtful about what I do and what I share. But ultimately, I wanted to make a contribution to the literature on this very important, and at times, perplexing topic, and that is why this blog now exists.

This is not about bragging about someone who was famous being my twin soul. I really don’t like the cult of celebrity and celebrity worship. This is about sharing true and legitimate examples of afterlife communication between twin souls. If I continued to be unwilling to share my experiences, important information would be missing in the literature. What Robin can do as a spiriual being is absolutely amazing and I think it is important for people to know what loved ones in Spirit are capable of doing. A body of literature on any given topic exists only because people have done research, completed case studies, and shared findings through their writings. This is what I am doing here on my blog, which may become a book at some later date.

Afterlife CommunicationIf you have the chance, please stop by Andrea’s site to see my post and what she and Prince have been up to.

Afterlife Dreams: Happy Together

Afterlife Dreams: Happy Together

On July 9th, I had a talk with Julian about how being happy now is the best and fastest way to have the life you want. Transcending challenges by choosing to be happy anyway allows you to still enjoy life, heal and transform them. Life is never perfect for anyone, so I figure I can choose to be happy and bring more joy into my life.

I learned about this attitude when reading the book, The Secret, by Rhonda Byrne. Here is the passage where this way of thinking is encouraged:

The shortcut to anything you want in your life is to BE and FEEL happy now! It is the fastest way to bring money and anything else you want into your life. Focus on radiating out into the Universe those feelings of joy and happiness…(pg. 100)

No matter what you have manifested in regards to your body, you can change it—inside and out. Start thinking happy thoughts and start being happy. Happiness is a feeling state of being. You have your finger on the “feeling happy” button. Press it now and keep your finger pressed down on it firmly, no matter what is happening around you…(pg 133).

I went to bed that night thinking about being happy. Later in the night, I had a dream about Robin.

Afterlife

We were in a grocery store. He looked like he did when he was in his early 60’s, before his illness. He was in good spirits. He smiled at me and said thank you to me for something, but now I don’t recall what he was thanking me for. In the dream, he was much taller than me. I put my arms around his waist and hugged him. (As an aside, physically he was 5’9” tall from what I read somewhere. I’m 5’10” tall, but in the dream, he towered over me). Then, he started singing, “we’ll be happy together…” Then he walked out of the store, pushing a grocery cart.

After I woke up, I spoke with Robin about the dream. I said to him that I knew the song he was singing, but couldn’t remember the band who sang it. I looked up, Happy Together, on YouTube and found that it was the song by The Turtles. I love this video and music from the 60’s. It made me smile just watching it:

It was such a nice message from him. He was picking up on the happy theme I was talking with Julian about a few hours before I went to bed. I also went grocery shopping earlier that day too, so it’s like he was mirroring my life in the dream and knew what I had been doing. It felt very much like a visit with Robin, so I take the dream as spirit communication with the use of song.

It is very common for loved ones in spirit to use music and song as a way of communicating and it’s probably even more likely if your loved one was a singer or musician. According to Faye Schindelka:

Afterlife Communications

Music seems to be a favorite means of afterlife communication used by the deceased. It seems that music is manipulated fairly easily by those experiencing life after death, perhaps due to its vibratory nature and unique frequency. Many who are grieving the death of a loved one have relayed experiences to me of hearing songs that are highly relevant to the deceased, playing at extremely unlikely yet opportune moments.

It is wonderful to me that Robin came to me in this dream, singing a few notes of this uplifting song. The way he sang it sounded just like the way The Turtles sang it, which was why I could recognize the song. If you read the lyrics, it’s actually quite a beautiful love song, maybe a bit idealistic. But many of us have probably felt that way about someone in our life at some point:

It’s true that feeling happy is good medicine. Having this dream about Robin contributed to my happiness all day. I’ve listened to the song a few times and it’s kept me in a happy place. Robin gave me a happy song that has been playing over and over in my head. This situation is also a positive example of the law attraction at work because talking about happiness with my husband  before I went to bed led to more happiness in the form of this dream about Robin.

Afterlife Communications

Yes, we are all happy together! I wish the same for you and your loved ones.

All my happy best to you,

Christina

Telekinesis with Spiritual Symbols

Telekinesis with Spiritual Symbols

In 2013, I had a habit of hanging a couple of my necklaces on my bathroom doorknob. I did it occasionally and it made it easier to find them when I needed them. On one necklace there was an infinity symbol charm. On another necklace, there was an Om symbol, Miraculous Medal, Star of David and a Cross.

Throughout my life, I have had an affinity for respecting, honoring and acknowledging different religions. This respect is reflected in my necklaces. That does not mean I agree with everything. But, in my opinion, there is too much turmoil, separation and division based on differences in religion. It causes people a lot of pain and it doesn’t have to be this way. It is this way because people make the choice to see their religion or beliefs as superior to others. Either that or they make others “wrong” for what they believe.

Afterlife Communications

It seems to me that there is plenty of room to find things we have in common. It is more effective to make an effort to understand another person’s point of view rather than to be so quick to put down what they believe. Whether you are Catholic, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, Druid, or one of many Christian denominations, religious beliefs people have tend to have deep roots in family ties, history and their upbringing. I believe in making an effort to peacefully coexist with others of different religions. I am not Hindu or Jewish, but I have studied both religions and find very much in both that I enjoy and resonate with, especially when it comes to prayers and mantras.

If you share a similar point of view to mine, you may like the book, Everyone is Right: A New Look at Comparative Religion and its Relation to Science, by Roland Peterson. He compares and contrasts the texts from the world’s major religions and points out how they are often saying the same thing in slightly different ways:

Afterlife Communication

On October 7, 2013, I started noticing some interesting occurrences with my necklaces that I hung on the bathroom doorknob. They were being moved from the doorknob to the door latch! By this time in October, I knew Robin was very skilled at telekinesis, so I knew he was doing this. Before Robin passed away, I never had any of this kind of spirit activity in my apartment. It all started after his passing and even then, I did not notice objects being moved until May, 2013, which was a year after his passing (See other posts in the Telekinesis category for more information).

The first time I noticed the necklace with the multiple symbols moved was the day after my birthday, so I considered it a belated birthday present of sorts! I consider it a present whenever Robin lets me know he is around.

Here in image #1 below, you see my bathroom with the doorknob. This is where I had originally hung the necklace before I went to bed. When I walked into the bathroom the following morning, I saw that it was moved to the door latch. I gasped when I saw it had been moved. I became teary-eyed and so happy to have a visitation from Robin:

Afterlife

Image #2 below shows a close-up of the necklace hanging from the door latch:

Afterlife Communication

Image #2 Necklace Moved to Door Latch

How Robin does this, I don’t know. He, along with many other spirits in documented stories, are able to gather their energy up to a high enough level to move objects in the physical world. It’s one of the most fascinating experiences I have ever had in my life, to be shown that he can do this.

On October 30, 2013, he moved two necklaces that I had hanging on the doorknob this time. In addition to the necklace I mentioned above, he also moved the necklace with my infinity symbol charm. I bought this after he gave me the infinity symbol in July. He moved the two necklaces to the same bathroom door latch. I could find only one image to show you for this date:

Afterlife Communication

Image #3 Two Necklaces Moved

Robin moved these necklaces again on November 3, 2013. I thought it was amazing that he could move not just one, but two necklaces. Below, here are three different vantage points to show how the necklaces looked after being moved from the doorknob:

On December 31, 2013, Rob came back to wrap the necklaces around the doorknob this time. I guess he felt like doing something other than moving them :)! That was his way of saying “Happy New Year”!

Image #7 New Year’s Eve 2013

I am 100% certain that Robin moved my necklaces on all of these different occasions. I also doubled checked with my husband to make sure he wasn’t moving them and playing tricks on me. He said he never moved them. I did not have pets that could move my necklaces and no one else lived with us. I am a person of integrity. It’s a lot of work to find the pictures and upload them into a comprehensive blog post for my readers. If it were not true, I would not waste your time or mine doing this. I’m writing this because it is true and I wanted to share it. I also felt the message of unity is a very important one and one closely in line with Robin’s spirituality.

When dealing with telekinesis, it is important to rule out other logical explanations, as I did by questioning my husband.

That is an attitude mirrored by Trish MacGregor and Rob MacGregor in the book, Synchronicity and the Other Side: Your Guide to Meaningful Connections with the Afterlife, Jul 18, 2011:

Theories of Spirit Contact:

Spiritualists, scientists, and other experts have developed different theories regarding how and why spirits move matter.

Psychokinesis:

Psychokinesis is the ability to affect objects with your mind.

When you mention psychokinesis or telekinesis and combine it with Uri Geller, most people immediately associate it with spoon bending, which put Geller on the psychic map. But when the inexplicable movement of objects is linked to after-death communication, then, in theory, we’re dealing with effects created by the mind or consciousness of the deceased. Such events are jarring and seize our attention…

Spirit psychokinesis isn’t limited to knockings, voices, or electronics that go off and on by themselves. The phenomenon manifests in numerous ways—initials or names inscribed on steamy or frosty glass; objects that fall off shelves; glass that shatters for no reason; objects found where they shouldn’t be or that disappear and reappear. The challenge, of course, is to determine when such incidents have normal explanations and which ones are examples of contact with the other side…

Afterlife Communication

What I have shown you here are authentic examples of contact with Robin on the other side. There are many others on this website. They show that he is doing quite well in spirit!

Om

AUM is an aspect of God — it is the divine creative vibration of the whole universe. Everything in creation is vibrating with God’s power. AUM is the sound made by the vibration of God’s presence within us and all around us. Where there is vibration, there is sound, and if there is sound, we can train ourselves to perceive it, to “hear” it, and to attune ourselves to it, thus actually heightening our own vibrations — changing ourselves from material, ego-centered beings, into super-conscious, free souls.

I think the reason Robin was moving these necklaces repeatedly was because of the spiritual significance and meaning of them. I think he liked them. Robin used to chant “Aum” or “Om” as part of his spiritual practice. I found this out when I saw a video of him on YouTube teaching meditation. I was so moved and happy when I discovered this. It was another thing that we have in common. As a yoga teacher, I have chanted “Om” many times and have taught it. I chanted the Buddhist mantra for compassion, Om Mani Peme Hung, for Robin after his passing. This video below is the exact version of the mantra I chanted for Robin. The person who posted this video gives a good explanation of the mantra if you’re interested:

At the time, I knew so little about him and I did not know if he liked the mantra. I was a little worried about it, but I knew my heart was in the right place, so I continued the practice. A few years later, I found the video and cried with happiness because it seemed he would he like it as he chanted “Om” as well.

Here are two video clips with Robin chanting the Om mantra. He also briefly mentions the evolution of his spirituality:

Miraculous Medal and The CrossAfterlife Communications

I started wearing the Miraculous Medal in 2006 when I wanted a stronger connection with the Divine Feminine as represented by Mother Mary. Here is some information on this beautiful medal. The Cross is also connected with the Miraculous Medal, so I include this interesting synopsis here as well:

Star of David

According to the website below, the Star of David has quite a complicated history. Please see the video on the page for more information. It’s very educational and worth watching. If you do a google search on twin flames, there is some association with the Star of David, but I am not at all educated about the connection between the Star of David and twin flames at this time, so I will just stick with the traditional association with Judaism:

Afterlife Communication: License Plates

Afterlife Communication: License Plates

Today’s post is about how loved ones in spirit communicate with us by using license plates. It has happened with Robin and me on many occasions over the years. It’s fun, shocking and amazing all at the same time.

When I write my posts, I often like to offer additional sources to show that what I am saying has some basis in the afterlife communication literature. For this post, I googled, “deceased loved ones license plates” to see what literature I could find. On the second page of google, I found this website:

The post is called 6 Signs from Your Loved-One in Heaven by Ashley Strong (April 20, 2017). One of the 6 signs she lists includes Billboards, License Plates and Text.

I read what she had written and the next thing I know, I see the Bee Gees mentioned! Yes, I did cry because while I’m doing research to prepare to write this blog on my license plate communication with Robin, I see his band mentioned. Here is the excerpt:

BILLBOARDS, LICENSE PLATES, AND TEXT

Spirit easily brings in yo’ face messages this way! It may be a billboard that says “keep going” at the very moment you thought of giving up. It could also be a truck that drives by with a big bluebird posted on the side when you asked to see a bluebird the day before.

Spirit loves to connect with me through license plates. Don’t laugh, I’m serious!

One day (before I was a professional medium) I was having one of those days. Out loud I said –

“Grandma I really really wish I could talk to you today.”

About an hour later I parked my car and happened to glance at the plate in front of me. It read “BEE GEES”, that was my grandma’s favorite band!

Oh, boy! Did the tears start a flowin’!

Well, that was definitely in my face. Wow, maybe I should get a Bee Gees license plate too, lol! That would be a lot of fun. I can’t tell you how much it means to me when Robin’s presence shows up this way. He feels very close right now, as you can imagine. I feel deeply guided in writing this post.

Over the years, I have noticed his initials, “RHG”, on license plates quite often. I have seen a plate with the exact numbers “1222” on it, which is his birth date, December 22. I have seen “ROBYN”, which even though is spelled differently than the spelling of his name, still reminded me of him. Plates with “POPPY” and “POPPI” have shown up on my path, which happily reminded me of our connection with poppies. Within the past few months I have seen a plate, “BGBLUE,” which is important for me because I often comment on how beautiful his blue-tinted eyeglasses were. Blue was also his favorite color. I also saw a plate that said, “BGHOT,” to which I said, “Now you’re just trying to be funny, lol!”

One day a few years ago, I spoke with Robin and said, “I wonder about you. I wonder about where you go and what you do all of the time.” Shortly after this, I went out. Just as I was pulling out of the driveway into traffic, I saw a license plate that said, “I WONDER.” I was so shocked because I had just said that to Robin. How does God time things this way? I may never know. I just surrender to the mystery and allow it to carry me along.

Now, here is one of my favorite communications with license plates.

On January 9, 2014, I wrote this to Robin in my journal:

I was thinking it would be so cool to see a license plate with ROB on it-Any state-the numbers and ROB, like a Colorado plate would be:

XXX-ROB  (the 3 X’s are for any random numbers)

Wouldn’t that be cool! If I ever see that, I know it’s you. Just for fun.

I love and give thanks for you, Robin Gibb.

Love,

Christina

13 days later, on January 22, I went to walk to the store. While I was waiting to cross the street, I saw the license plate I was hoping for, with some variation. It was:  1 ROB

I knew it was Robin with me. It was a Colorado plate, and it was not typical for only one number to be there. Usually it was 3. This seemed to be a personalized plate. It went by so quickly, I did not have time to take a picture. But I will always remember it. Having it show up with the number 1 was actually better than 3 random numbers that did not mean anything. It symbolized his song and album, One. It symbolized the energy of the higher planes of spirit, which is oneness and unity. It also symbolizes our oneness spiritually as twin souls.

It took almost 2 weeks to show up. It’s a good lesson that the signs we ask for may not show up immediately, but when you least expect it. Any rules that say a sign has to show up within a certain timeframe are erroneous in my opinion. We are not privy to all the ways God works and I would not want to limit God with my human time frames. Events are orchestrated and timed by a power much greater than me. When I stepped out the door that day, I had no idea I would see a car go by with that license plate. If I had left a few minutes earlier or later, I would have missed it. That’s how precise spirit is. Spirit knows what it’s doing.

One other thing I’d like to mention about license plates is that when I lived in Colorado, my plate had 3 numbers and then the letters “OBB”:

As I have contemplated my connection with Robin over the years, I came to feel that our spiritual connection manifested in the plate because my plate ended in 2 “B’s” just as his last name does. I bought my Colorado plates several years prior to Robin’s passing when I had no conscious connection to him whatsoever. It’s a mystery of twin souls who did not know each other, that we are connected this way through dates, places we lived, and even a couple of letters on a license plate. I feel something with this. That’s the whole point. If you feel something in connection with a license plate, then listen to your heart, especially when it concerns a loved one in spirit. They could be trying to get your attention. I think it’s important to not be too quick to dismiss something that could be a valuable communication.

I wish you much enjoyable license plate communication with loved ones in spirit.

All my best to you,

Christina

Eternity Symbols

Eternity Symbols

After Robin created the infinity symbols, a new interest in eternity symbols was born within me. I never paid much attention to them before, but I discovered just how many beautiful eternity symbols there are from different cultures around the world.

One of my favorites is called the Serch Bythol. I drew this picture below so you can see what it looks like. I was not able to find a photo that was copyright free:

Robin Gibb, AfterlifeHere is the meaning according to David Morgan:

This Celtic symbol of everlasting love is formed from two triskeles. The triskeles, three cornered knots, denote the three aspects of two people, body, mind and spirit. The two triskeles, joined together, show a circle, the everlasting circle of eternity. Thus the figure represents two people, joined in body, mind, and spirit in everlasting love.

The triskele, a three-cornered knot, is common in Celtic knotwork. The Celts, in keeping with general Indo-European belief, held that life was tripartite in nature and continuous. The three corners of the triskele denoted the three parts, and the knot itself was the endless ribbon of eternity. The tripartite nature of life carried through to Christianity as the Trinity.

He describes the Serch Bythol as being formed from two triskeles. However, it seems more accurate to say that it is formed by joining two triquetras or trinity knots that are stretched out a little bit:

In modern times, the triquetra symbol has become a favorite design element in knot-work, jewelry, emblems, logos etc. as a symbol of anything three-fold e.g. the cycle of life (life-death-rebirth), the promise of a husband to his wife (love-honor-protect), the family (father-mother-child), the passage of time (past-present-future) and many more.

The triskele is more of a spiral and has various meanings:

Derived from the Greek word “Triskeles” meaning “three legs”, the Triskele or Triple Spiral is a complex ancient Celtic symbol. Often referred to by many as a Triskelion, its earliest creation dates back to the Neolithic era, as it can be seen at the entrance of Newgrange, Ireland….

Firstly, the triskele can be thought to represent motion as all three arms are positioned to make it appear as if it is moving outwards from its center. Movement, or motion, is believed to signify energies, in particular within this Celtic Symbol the motion of action, cycles, progress, revolution and competition.

Robin Gibb, Afterlife, Isle of Man Flag

Secondly, and the more challenging area for symbolists, is the exact symbolic significance of the three arms of the triskele. This can differ dependent on the era, culture, mythology and history, which is why there are so many variations as to what these three extensions in the triple spiral symbol mean.

Some of these connotations include: life-death-rebirth, spirit-mind-body, mother-father-child, past-present-future, power-intellect-love and creation-preservation-destruction to name but a few.

It’s thought that through the combination of these two areas we gain one meaning of the Celtic triskele. It is believed to represent a tale of forward motion to reach understanding. However, this is thought not to be the only meaning, as it is also believed to represent three Celtic worlds; the spiritual world, the present world and the celestial world. Like the ancient Trinity knot, the number 3 holds a special symbolism within the triskele.

So, even though the triskele and triquetra are two different symbols, according to these interpretations above, they have essentially the same connotations.

The triskele is also seen in the flag for the Isle of Man, Robin’s country of birth:

Isle of Man FlagThe Manx Flag uses the triskelion symbol. The earliest use of this symbol in the island appears on the Manx Sword of State which is thought to date from around 1230.

The island fell under the rule of England in 1341. The island government flew the Union Jack from the 17th century to July 8, 1929, when the triskelion flag replaced it as a local symbol. There were many artistic variations on the design until the flag was standardized in 1966.

I really love eternity symbols because they are beautiful, ornate, and are a lovely way to tell someone that you love them.

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed it!
