Welcome back to my discussion about skepticism! If you have not read Skepticism: Part 1, please do that first so that you have the proper context for this post.

What I would like to do now is give my response to the skeptic I wrote about in Part 1.  I want to address this issue of skepticism head-on and communicate clearly my perspective on my connection with Robin. I have a lot of feelings to explore in this post, so I hope you are ready to join me.

Bragging

My connection with Robin has been validated over and over again throughout the years. That is what this website is showing: the truth of our connection.

There is a difference between legitimately sharing experiences and bragging. I am sharing legitimate experiences that have been life-changing and making my contribution to the literature on afterlife communication. It is possible that there are some non-famous twins online who do come across as bragging about their celebrity twin flame connection. I do not consider myself one of them.

If someone is bragging, then they might not be doing the hard work and soul surgery that is part of the twin soul connection. One of my former professors also called it “psycho-archaeology.”

If someone is coming across as narcissistic, grandiose, or conceited when writing about being the twin soul of a celebrity, or anyone’s twin soul for that matter, then I would consider that a red flag too. The twin soul connection requires humility because there is so much we don’t know on this side of the veil.

Robin did not brag about his success. Being conceited was not his personality. He was very humble and down to earth. My connection with him is infused with this way of being.

If you have a twin soul in spirit, in some cases, the one on earth is going to be presented with a lot of work to do. It is work on oneself and work in the world to support others. The moment Robin came into my life, I had a lot of work to do because there was so much I did not understand.

Afterlife Communications

I can’t do anything about the fact that Robin was famous. That was part of his earthly identity. I don’t see why I should be penalized for that to the point that I can’t even share what I have experienced with his spirit. To some people, my even mentioning his name at all would seem like bragging.

The labels of “non-famous” and “famous” are the energies of separation. What better way to separate and divide people than to put us into these categories. It is earthly hierarchical thinking. I think it is well past time to stop deifying celebrities. I also think it’s time to stop undervaluing non-famous people.

One and Only?

I already know I am not Robin’s one and only. He was married and loves his wife and I’m sure many other spirits that he’s met since his passing. I’m married and love my husband, so he is not my one and only either in that respect. But his spirit is a part of my marriage and blends with Julian regularly as I mentioned in my post Close to You. I am convinced that spirits are doing this kind of thing all the time with humans, unbeknownst to us. The involvement of spirits with humans can be benevolent or malevolent. I learned about this through the work of Francisco Cândido Xavier and Spirit Andre Luiz  in a book called In the Domain of Mediumship: Life in the Spirit World (2013).

I love Robin as a valuable member of my soul family. His energy, love, creativity and wisdom are always welcome in my life. I would say that in some ways, yes, he is my one and only. He’s the one and only spirit that I’ve shared these many profound experiences with.

The things that Robin did for me helped to create an unbreakable bond of our souls. I am very loyal to Robin. I consider him a teacher, spiritual partner and guide. I don’t have any proof of this, but it wouldn’t surprise me if he is a spirit guide for many others on earth as well. He loves people and his fans.

Facing Fear

Fear of being seen in a negative light by others is one of the greatest obstacles to sharing the truth of who you really are and what has happened to you. However, it is an obstacle that can be overcome with support and inner strength.

I allowed what this skeptic wrote to keep me from sharing my story about Robin publicly for many years. I was really concerned that I would be seen as bragging about my connection with him. But during that time, I was learning and preparing for what I am doing now with this blog.

I am grateful for the writer’s comments. They made me stronger, and over the years, caused me to closely examine what I have been experiencing with Robin. The end result of all of those years of incubation, afterlife communication and self-examination is contained on the pages of this website. I faced my inner demons of insecurity and gained in courage.

It takes a strong commitment and devotion to be able to sustain a conscious, long-term, cross-dimensional twin soul connection. That is because the physical world is so seductive with its constant distractions. I find that having Robin in my life as a disembodied twin soul makes me slow down and quiet down so I can perceive him. It is necessary for me to step away, pull away, from the outer world and go into my inner world to connect with Robin in peace.

I take what I share with Robin very seriously.  I wanted to enter into this connection with him only if I could be consistent and not fail him. I make time for him and communicate with him every day.  I have spent years documenting my experiences in the hope that someday, I would be ready to share them. That time finally came in April, 2018.

Complexity

If you are skeptical of me, I don’t blame you. I understand due to the subject matter. But I hope you will still give me a chance. That is something skeptics sometimes do not do. It’s possible to be too quick to dismiss someone like me. Dismissing someone as crazy can be a form of over-simplification. If you can tell yourself someone is crazy, then you can wrap up everything they say in a nice neat little box, put a bow on it and toss it out because it must be worthless. If you consider that a person may not be “crazy,” then you might have to consider what they have to say, and that is of course more complicated and complex. The twin soul phenomenon that I am experiencing is very complex.

Afterlife Communications

People, myself included, are usually skeptical when presented with information that does not match their current belief systems. People also tend to be skeptical when hearing about the experiences of others that they have not had yet or may never have.

I am far from the only one having otherworldly experiences. It always helps me when I see other people share their personal stories. Have you seen the website for the twin ray of Michael Hutchence of INXS? It is called Cormael. I have received great benefit from their writings over the years:

I would also like to point out respectfully that the skeptic I am writing about speaks about being blessed with answers about twin flames from the Archangels. That is fine if that is what the person’s experience is, but it is also something some people might be skeptical about:

With my own experiences, I required a huge amount of validation of my connection with Robin before I felt secure in it and really knew that it is mutual. That is because I was facing something completely new to me with a spirit person I could not see and never met. Still, I loved him and felt like I knew him from my soul family. My point is that I gave my connection with Robin a chance and time to develop and grow. That is another reason why it took me six years before I was ready to write about this.

The twin soul connection I share with Robin is beautiful, but not always easy. Especially in 2012, I had to learn about afterlife communication, soul groups and twin souls all at the same time. I was in the process of understanding why I felt the way I did about Robin and why my life was suddenly filled with dreams and synchronicity about him.

Some people say that when you meet your twin soul, you “just know.” But how can you “just know” if you’ve never even heard of twin souls or flames? I didn’t “just know.” I had to do a lot of research, soul-searching and introspection. Sometimes what I read did not match up with how I felt. As a result, I always went with what I was being given personally and directly from Spirit.

My heart told me that something was going on within me concerning Robin around the time of his death, but what that was exactly needed clarification. I didn’t have the luxury of talking with him face to face so I really had to tune into my soul and to God to get the answers I needed.

Conclusion

I believe I have co-created a website that shows my true interest, love, care and concern for who Robin was as a person and for who he is now as a spirit. I care about the depth and substance of his life, what he believed in and what he stood for. The fame that he had is not what is important to me and I have felt this way since I reconnected with him. His fame was a vehicle through which I recognized him.

Fame had its ups and downs for Robin as you know if you have followed his life story. Through his fame, he was able to bring beautiful music to humanity and he was/is able to provide for his family for generations to come. These are all great things. But, as I previously mentioned in my post, Famous Spirits?, I don’t believe he is famous on the other side like he was here on earth. However, people on earth still perceive him as being famous so if I mention him, that’s what they are going to be thinking about.

I am here to open my heart, share what has occurred in my life and hopefully benefit someone along the way. I don’t believe in trying to convince a person that what I’m saying here is true because I feel that is disempowering to me. My experience in life is that when you try to convince someone of something, it takes a lot of energy and even after all of that, they still may not be convinced.

I genuinely wish to be credible though, so I have presented my afterlife communication experiences with Robin as clearly as I can. I provide pictures and excerpts when I can to support what I am saying.

What a true twin soul/flame does depends on the person/pair. There is no universal manual on how true twin souls behave. We also don’t have to live up to the impossible standards of others. I have read about twin soul missions described as things only Jesus could do. I’m not up for anything like that. I will do my best to make a quiet contribution through this website.

I have done my best to share some of what I do in my relationship with Robin. I have made many changes over the years due to spiritual growth. Right now, what I’m doing works for us.

I am passionate about afterlife communication with Robin. I know I am being supported by God and Robin because I keep getting more communications to write about.

On Monday, November 19, 2018, Julian told me about a podcast by Oprah about this man named Jonas Elrod. He had experienced a sudden spiritual awakening whereby he began to see spirits. Here is a trailer for his documentary:

With his loving but skeptical girlfriend by his side, Jonas crisscrosses the country as he searches for answers and delves deeper into this thrilling world of the phenomenal and spiritual.

Listening to his podcast caused me to feel contemplative and thoughtful about the issue of skepticism. As a result, I thought I would write this post about skepticism as it applies to my afterlife communication with Robin.

Most of us at some point in our lives have to deal with the skepticism of others. Whether it’s an opinion or belief you have, we come across people that don’t quite believe what we are saying. When you start getting into the territory of afterlife communication, near-death experiences, spiritual awakenings, psychic and other paranormal phenomena, the skepticism rate often drastically increases.

afterlife CommunicationsGiven that I am writing about a twin soul afterlife connection with someone who was famous, I feel I have a responsibility to address the topic of skepticism.

I would like to begin by saying that I believe healthy skepticism is vitally important, especially when it comes to topics like I am writing about.

As you know, the truth is that there are many non-famous people with attachments and obsessions towards famous people that are clear signs of diagnosable mental illness. Therefore, an attitude of discernment is very important and necessary when it comes to subjects like this so that you can separate the wheat from the chaff.

As for my personal experience, not only was I not obsessed with Robin, I was not paying one bit of attention to him, the Bee Gees or his solo career prior to April, 2012. I mentioned this in my Background section. I didn’t even know he had a solo career. I am also not obsessed with any other celebrities because when it comes down to it, they are just people too. Some are really good people that I might actually enjoy getting to know if I had the opportunity (which I won’t), and others, not so much.

Robin’s impending death in April, 2012 was a catalyst for my spiritual awakening to planes and life beyond the physical. It is almost like someone in Spirit, God if you like, flipped a switch and said, “She’s allowed to know about him now.” It is like a timer went off all of a sudden. I felt like I was given a notification. But before that timer went off, I was not allowed to know who he is to me. What good would it have done anyway? He was 17 years older than me, married and completely inaccessible to me.

afterlife communicationsWhile being reconnected back with Robin has been a primarily joyful experience, it too has its drawbacks. One of these is being in the position of having people judge, doubt, or flat out not believe me because my connection concerns one of the Bee Gees that I did not know personally. If I were writing about my brother or child that passed away, then it would be more acceptable to some people. I often joke with Robin about how he came to me too, but I’m the one left here potentially being seen as the crazy one!

The non-famous twin of a celebrity is often targeted with impenetrable skepticism and accusations of mental instability. I am well aware of the fact that some people won’t believe me and will think I’m crazy. It is disappointing for me to have one of the most sublimely beautiful experiences of my life be reduced down to mental illness.

I would like to digress here a little bit to say that mental illness is not something to make fun of or put someone down for having. As a former mental health professional, I can say that mental illness is a serious and potentially life-threatening matter, depending on the illness. Suicide, drug and alcohol addiction are just a few examples.

Compassion and understanding are in order when dealing with the topic of mental illness. Unfortunately, very firm boundaries and law enforcement, are also in order depending on the situation.

I still choose to write these posts in spite of potential negative opinions because I believe I have important and interesting information to share. I also know that there are some, perhaps many, who do believe me and may even be having a similar experience. I want to support you through my stories. I would also like to say that I am so grateful for those of you who do believe me. For anyone going through a similar situation, I hope you find something you can relate to in my posts. I know that there is hardly anyone to talk to about this type of connection.

The other important reason why I am writing is that I love and appreciate my twin so much, I don’t consider it my concern whether people believe me or not. With this type of situation, you really have to get to that place within your own being. I hope my readers do believe me. That would be nice. But, if you don’t, it is not going to stop me. I believe in what I’m doing here and it took me a long time to get to this place. This website is for Robin too and it is my way of celebrating him and saying “thank you” for the amazing life I have been given by him since 2012.

Afterlife CommunicationsThe spiritual bond I share with Robin at the heart level helps me transcend the negativity of naysayers, skeptics and critics. I have a contribution that I would like to make. Breast cancer has taught me that if I have something to say and something I want to do, now is the time to do it. I don’t have time to waste.

 

Skeptic: An Example

Years ago, I came across this blog post below. It is a good example of a skeptic of those like me who have a twin who was/is famous. I pondered what she said off and on over the years. I think skeptics like this person are good because they test me and help me develop spiritually. They help me to learn how to state my position from a place of inner power and clarity.

I’m not afraid to include an opinion here that may not agree with mine. Actually, I agree with quite a bit of what is written in the last paragraph. It is the underlying tone of the post that I don’t agree with. The bold is mine and I give my response to this commentary in an upcoming post. This is an opportunity for me to respond to at least some valid issues that many other skeptics may bring up and show you where I stand on these issues as they relate to Robin. It’s a chance for you to get to know me better and what I think about certain issues.

Here is the excerpt:

There is one area for which I still have an abundance of skepticism: celebrity twin flames and the need to brag about being one.

 

One of the truly powerful things that I have learned through spirit communication is this: no one on the higher side is famous. If someone is famous in this life it is because that is the way their soul chose to learn their lessons. They take the lessons and move on. So, bragging about communicating with someone who was famous is kind of an oxymoron. The same holds true when it comes to twin flames. A true connection is always validated, that’s a simple fact, and important to remember since most twin flames co-exist with one twin on the higher plane.

 

So, if you can give a summation of the life of your favorite celebrity off the top of your head as a result of years of admiration, that doesn’t make you their twin flame. If you read in a teen magazine that your idol can’t exist without a certain food and you immediately start liking that same food, that isn’t a similarity. If you like a certain kind of music, or a particular poet or even a certain cartoon character merely because your idol does, it’s not an indication that you’re their twin flame.

 

Fame is a facade, it’s superficial and means very little to the soul. A true twin flame would be more interested in what lies beneath all of lights and glamour and cameras; not trying to convince the cyber-world they are their idol’s one and only. The whole idol thing, along with celebrity, means very little to twin flames. They’re connected on a soul level and really don’t need to prove it to anyone. The proof is not in their words, but in their actions. These actions will help define the unique twin flame experience. And though each path is different, one thing remains the same: your twin flame is the most powerful, personal and beneficial experience you can possibly have.

Afterlife Communication: Starry Ceiling

The afterlife communication synchronicity I am about to share with you means a lot to me and is very important to my heart spiritually. For this post, I’m going to go back a couple of years. On October 16, 2016, I was reading a book about the Bee Gees called, The Ultimate Biography of The Bee Gees: Tales of the Brothers Gibb (2013) by Hector Cook, Andrew Mon Hughes, and Melinda Bilyeu.

I was reading chapter 36 where the discussion was about how the brothers decided to take some time apart to do separate things they were each interested in. I include this part about Robin house-hunting, because it ties into the synchronicity I will describe in this blog post:

For Robin, it was house-hunting and a new LP…(1)

The story of how Robin discovered the Prebendal House, his home in England, is reviewed:

It might not have been the conventional idea of paradise, but Robin and Dwina have never made any pretence of being a conventional couple. A medieval mansion, The Prebendal was built in the twelfth century by the English theologian Robert Grosseteste and for 500 years played a strictly ecclesiastical role as a place where priests trained to become bishops. The property still has its own chapel and refectory…(2)

As I continued to read, I discovered how Robin’s wife Dwina restored the ceilings of their new house with beautiful hand-paintings. Her restoration work was inspired by Rycote Chapel:

After buying the house, the couple decided to restore the property to its medieval glory. They searched the country for authentic doors, wood paneling and furnishings – even a suit of armour. Inspired by Rycote Chapel, Dwina hand-painted the ceilings in a soft, pale blue with gold stars. The chapel on the estate was carefully restored and remains a consecrated Christian chapel.(3)

Afterlife CommunicationsSo, I read this information, but there are no pictures of the ceiling Dwina painted in the book, so I did not know what it looked like.

The next evening, October 17, 2016, I decided to watch an episode of House Hunters Renovation Collection. They are fun shows about remodeling houses. I was watching them quite often at the time. In this episode, there was a lovely couple with a baby girl. When the real estate agent showed them a house, one of the bedrooms had a ceiling that was painted blue. It also had clouds and gold stars.

I thought of how I had just read the night before that Dwina had painted the ceilings a soft pale blue with gold stars. I thought it sounded very similar to what I was seeing on House Hunters, except that the clouds were not mentioned in the description of Dwina’s painting. Also, the blue from the house they were shown on the show was a little darker than pale blue. Still, it seemed like a synchronicity because of the blue ceiling and gold stars.

I decided to research Rycote Chapel to see if I could find a picture of the ceiling Dwina was inspired by. I was able to find a great picture. The ceiling of the chapel looks similar to the ceiling of the house on House Hunters, albeit much more ornate and beautiful. There are clouds on the Rycote chapel ceiling!

Here are the screen shots I took of the ceiling on the House Hunters show that synchronized with what I was reading in the Bee Gees’ book. Observe the profound similarities:

I felt to be in such incredible alignment with Robin spiritually through this synchronicity. It is such a powerful mirror image.

I was engaging in an activity that connected back to Robin (reading about him and Dwina house-hunting). Through divine guidance, I watched a show on house-hunting within about 24 hours which presented a ceiling design with precisely the same motif as the one Dwina painted. The chance of that occurring by chance alone is very slim. There are dozens, perhaps hundreds of House Hunters episodes. I watched the one with the blue ceiling and gold stars with clouds. It’s the only time I have seen that on any House Hunters episodes. Here is a link for the show if you are interested. I cannot find the show I watched over two years ago, but this link will give you an idea about what the show is like if you have never seen it:

This synchronicity left me feeling very connected to Robin and very grateful for our closeness. This is the truth of my heart.

I hope you enjoyed this communication about the starry ceilings. It’s a synchronicity about something pretty, artistic and creative. I researched the different spiritual meanings of stars, which are commonly known. In the end though, to me, the synchronicity meant that Robin was with me, saying “Hello! I’m still here with you Christina.” It was comforting and reassuring. Synchronicity is one of our primary ways of communicating. Synchronicity is very powerful and not to be underestimated. It lets me know he’s around and aware of what I am doing. It’s amazing and really elevates my energy when I connect with him like that. I feel elated and happy. The synchronicity helps me to not miss him so much.

For some of our loved ones in spirit, I think it’s their way of keeping in touch with people they love on earth. If you think about it from Robin’s perspective, he is communicating with me, a person who can’t see him or hear him audibly. So, if he wants to get my attention, synchronicity, especially related to something written in a book about his personal life, is very effective.

The fact that the starry ceilings were connected to a chapel and a bedroom are also significant in conveying a message of love, comfort, peace, rest, and security.

A woman named Laura, who writes a blog called Zingara 84, is one of my favorite writers that I’ve come across in my twin soul journey with Robin. She writes so eloquently about this theme of synchronicity as messages of love and reassurance. Here are a couple of brief excerpts I would like to share. The first excerpt is from one of my all-time favorite posts about synchronicity:

…But the synchronicities, for many twins, also serve as a sign of reassurance, and that is probably how many of them are intended by the universe – to reassure.  When people believe in signs, simply having seen a lot of them pointing towards the same person can help them to trust that that person is meaningful, worth remembering, and worth opening their hearts to.  And also to trust that you are worthy of the love that you feel…

Here is the second excerpt from another of Laura’s excellent posts about why synchronicities happen when they do. I feel this is what is going on with the starry ceiling synchronicity:

Because Spirit is just sending you love.  Just because.  Maybe you “need” it, or maybe there’s nothing particularly challenging going on for you right now that you might think you need support with.  Still, synchronicities are Spirit’s way, often, of saying hello, reminding you that you are cared for and watched over.  For example, sometimes synchronicities point to one of your soulmates sending you love energy or lending more of their own energy than usual to assist you with whatever healing/growing you’re working on.  This is possible even if your human selves are not in contact.  The synchronicities then would not mean that you “have” to be in contact or “will” soon be — just that their soul is with you, offering a lot of love and support.  

One last point I would like to make is that communicating with loved ones and/or twins in spirit can and will take some additional work on the part of those still in the physical world. I did additional research on Rycote Chapel to see if I could find more information. If I had not done that, I would not have received the synchronicity. The lesson is that if you have the inclination or inner guidance to do research, stop by a store, or watch a t.v. show, listen to your guidance. That may be the extra work you need to do so your loved one in spirit can communicate with you.

Robin knows that my former career was in psychology research, so he knows I’m going to look things up and he doesn’t mind putting me to work! Your twin and/or loved one in spirit will work with your strengths as well. I have learned so many things that I would not have otherwise known. My life has been deeply enriched and blessed by my communications with Robin. I wish the same for you!

On November 1, 2018, I was reviewing a file I made for myself a couple of years ago. It is about different aspects of closeness of soul mates and twin souls. I called it my closest soul mate compilation. It consists of different articles and books I have found over the years that have been helpful to me. One such book in my compilation is called Sharing: Self Discovery in Relationships By Kathy Oddenino. Here she describes the energy of twin souls:

Your twin soul is the one soul and spirit within the Universe that is closer to the energy of your soul and spirit than any other spirit and soul of the Universe. The twin soul is the energy of closest attunement with your energy…(pg. 320-321)

I like this description of twin souls very much because she describes the connection in terms of the closest attunement of energy. Many twin soul articles I have read over the years describe twin souls as being an exactly identical match of vibration and energy.

But, I never really agreed with that in my heart because even twin souls have their own identity whereby others can tell each apart from the other. It seems to me that the best you can get is a soul who is nearly identical or your closest match, out of all other souls, in terms of energy light and vibration.

This belief I have is mirrored in early 1900’s writing on soul mates in a book called Spirit Mates, by James Martin Peebles. It is a very interesting book. The language is archaic, but some of the roots of our current understanding of twin souls seem to come from these spiritualist writers. Here is an excerpt describing what sounds like twin souls and how they are still individually identifiable even when merged in the spirit world:

Question: “What is the ultimate form of the soul mates far on in the celestial spheres; that is, do they blend or merge into one form ultimately?”

Answer: “We are told that ultimately, in the celestial spheres, ages on, the reunited soul mates appear as one rounded, glorified sphere of light, possessing the attributes of intelligence, energy, wisdom, love and power, but that the distinct and individual attributes and elements of each, the male and female, are plainly discerned and manifested; there is no swallowing up of either individuality by the other part; and that whenever they wish to, they can separate and appear as two separate individuals, male and female.”

Within my family/group of souls in the unseen spirit world, I consider Robin to be the spirit with the closest attunement with my energy due to the strong and life-changing experiences I have had with his spirit after his passing. I have done my best to provide evidence to support my statement throughout this website. No other spirit has ever come to me the way Robin has. He truly woke me up.

afterlifeIf there is a spirit within my soul family with a closer attunement to me than Robin, they have not presented themselves in my life. I write what I say with an attitude of humility. I’m speaking from my current level of understanding at this stage in my spiritual evolution. The conclusions I come to are based on the information I have been given from spirit directly. I have shared some of that information here on this website. I am sure that over time, my understanding of my connection with Robin will grow and evolve. I have a feeling though, that my fullest understanding of my connection with Robin and the rest of my soul group in spirit will come only after my passing into the dimensions where they are.

Ultimately, I surrender my spiritual connection with Robin to God so that Spirit can guide and direct me and illuminate my heart and mind as to the deeper truths about who I am to Robin and who Robin is to me in the spirit world.

I feel I have met a handful of women in my life who I consider to be soul mates from my soul family in the spirit world. With these women in my life, we mutually feel that we are the same energy and knew each other before in other lifetimes. This brings me to the point I want to make about the difference between soul mates and twin souls. It’s all about our energy, essence, vibration, light, color and sound on a spiritual, esoteric level that we cannot see with the naked eye. It’s not so much about whether we like the same food or movies.

I feel that soul mates have a very similar energy, light and vibration to our own that is comfortable. To me, twin souls are the ones with the closest, most powerful attunement to our own energy. That is what distinguishes one from the other, although both are extremely important. Love between soul mates and twin souls is infinite in the spirit world. Soul mates in the unseen world would be the spirits in your soul group or family. These are spirits that I’m sure I love deeply on the other side, even though I do not know who they are at this time. If you are interested in some good information on soul families that has guided me during my journey, I would recommend the book, Bringing Your Soul to Light: Healing Through Past Lives and the Time Between by Dr. Linda Backman.

I will use this metaphor to describe what I’m feeling. When I meet a soul mate, it’s like turning on one light in a room, in a room with multiple lights. You are comfortable, cozy with that one light on and you can see just fine.

With a twin soul, it’s like all of the lights in that one room have been turned on. You really wake up and feel supercharged, like you have to be careful not to blow a fuse. That is the difference in my personal experience between Robin as my twin soul and other soul mates I have met.

Being with Robin is like having all of the bright lights turned on in one room. I think it is because he is in pure spirit form now.  It’s still comfortable, just much brighter. The energy is amplified. You can see much more clearly. Everything is illuminated better than with one light on. This is how it feels to me. I make no claims that it feels this way to others because their experience may be different than mine.

Compilation Synchronicity

So, on November 1st, after I finished reading my closest soul mate compilation, I got up to see what Julian was doing. He was watching something on YouTube. Synchronistically, he was watching a compilation of his own about animals from the Dodo channel I wrote about recently in my Kookaburra blog post. I saw the word, “compilation” on the video and then in multiples as many other compilations were presented after this video was over. It was an amazing synchronicity. It is another example of how my work with Robin ends up matching something in my everyday life.

Julian is often the person to deliver the synchronicity to me that connects back to what I was working on with Robin. In The Afterlife, Angels and God: Collected Essays by James Judd, he mentions this potential connection between a disembodied twin soul and a spouse of a twin. In the first paragraph below, he explains how twin souls can connect if physically separated:

If both souls are in embodiment at the same time, even though physically separate, communication can still take place in the inner world, and if only one is physically embodied, then it can be a focal point for the expression of the other soul who is in the inner world. And if that physical soul is married then it is also possible for union between the Twin Souls to occur vicariously through the marriage partners, particularly when the marriage relationship is harmonious and both are spiritually open. (pg. 32)

I would like to share one more excerpt from this book, which I can relate to from personal experience. It speaks to what can happen when there is this spiritual openness. Over the years, I have seen many times how Robin communicates with me through Julian. Julian has made the agreement with Robin that gives him permission to do that. How does this manifest? On a regular basis, Julian will say or do something that relates directly back to what I just said to Robin, read about him or written for him for this website, without him knowing it. Or, Julian will give me a sign that I asked Robin for. So, there is this link and soul closeness between the 3 of us. Here is the excerpt:

Question: But what happens when the twin in spirit has an enlightened consciousness, and its counterpart in physical embodiment is spiritually aware or open?

Answer: Then there is a free exchange of power and assistance between them, and the soul in the physical becomes a focal point or channel through which the Twin can give its Divine Light. As mentioned in my talk (previous essay), when the embodied soul is married, and the spouse is also spiritually open, then the marriage partner will also be a channel between the Twin Souls. (pg 40-41)

Even though I like what James Judd says, I want to make it 100% clear that my writings are completely my own. I am not channeling Robin when I write. These are my thoughts and feelings. Some authors say they are channeling a disembodied spirit and writing what they are being told. That is not what I’m doing here.

I would say that Robin can work with both Julian and me as embodied souls he is connected with spiritually. He is a powerful, positive spiritual influence in both of our lives, and I know he is guiding me in terms of the work I do for this website and other areas of my life. I can serve as a point of contact for Robin. Then, I share with you what he has shared with me, in terms of dreams, telekinesis, synchronicity and other communications. But neither of us can channel Robin and sit down and type what he says. I would never even attempt to do that.

When James Judd says, “…the marriage partner will also be a channel between the Twin Souls,” I might substitute the word channel and use the word messenger instead, so there is no confusion. Julian is part of the Oneness that I share with Robin. We are all a part of that Oneness.

Linking to Spirit

In this very interesting blog post, Amanda Linette Meder talks about how spirits can link up with humans to communicate.

I offer this quote from the post linked to above:

“Can they get closer than next to you? A Spirit can take the linking process one step further, by floating right into your body…”

You could ask, “Can they get closer than close to you?” Apparently, they can. This is why I advocate spiritual protection as I wrote about here. It seems like this type of spirit communication and connection is going on frequently between spirits and embodied people.

Based on my personal experiences, there is a loving link between my husband, Robin and me, with God directing us all.

I have also noticed other times when Robin’s spirit strongly appears to be with a person I am talking to as I mentioned in this post (cashier placing his hand to his ear the same day I read about Robin doing the same thing when he sang).

So, it doesn’t just happen with my husband! It is a fascinating phenomenon that I never noticed occurring in my life before Robin’s passing.

Greetings to you! I write to you on November 2nd, during the time of the Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead celebrations around the world. I invited the loving spirits in my life for a Samhain dinner on October 31st. It was beautiful, peaceful and a little tearful. It has become a very special holiday for me. I prayed, chanted, read and played Bee Gees music.

The mantra I chanted for Robin and all of my loved ones in Spirit is called Akal. It means “deathless.” I frequently chant mantras from the Kundalini yoga tradition, for many years now. Here is some information on the important meaning of this mantra:

  • Mantra: Akal
  • Complete Mantra:   Akal
  • Language: Gurmukhi, Sanskrit
  • Source: Siri Guru Granth Sahib
  • Translation:  Undying.

More Information:  This mantra has been given by Yogi Bhajan to be chanted to help release a soul when a person dies.  It means that there is no death, only liberation. We are deathless.

All Sikh Guru’s used this word. It is in the first daily prayer of the Sikh’s, Japji Sahib, but has roots in Hindu, yogic traditions which go back further, therefore it is both Sanskrit and Gurmukhi in origin.

Snatnam Kaur’s musical interpretation of the mantra is beautiful to me. I played this after I offered dinner to my deceased loved ones. I hope you like it. If you are not familiar with this tradition, this video gives you a small sampling of it:

Here is some more information about Day of the Dead celebrations in Mexico:

Here’s one thing we know: Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is not a Mexican version of Halloween. Though related, the two annual events differ greatly in traditions and tone. Whereas Halloween is a dark night of terror and mischief, Day of the Dead festivities unfold over two days in an explosion of color and life-affirming joy. Sure, the theme is death, but the point is to demonstrate love and respect for deceased family members. (bold mine)

It’s fun and beautiful to serve, care for, honor and recognize my deceased loved ones. It’s good for the soul. When you care for your deceased loved ones, they will care for you. I truly believe that.

After I spend time with Robin like this, giving additional food offerings and ceremonies, I always keep my eyes open for increased spirit activity around my home. So far, I have received some great synchronicities, but I have not noticed any telekinesis. That’s ok…I think that takes a lot of his energy. I will write about the synchronicity and any other occurrences in a later post.
