Hurricane Aftermath

Hurricane Aftermath

I hope all of my readers around the world are well. If any of you are affected by Hurricane Dorian or any other typhoon or hurricane during this active tropical season, I hope you make it through well. My heart goes out to you.

I was in the “cone” for awhile, but Hurricane Dorian did not hit my area. I am heartbroken for the people of the Bahamas and the devastation they endured.

I had the good fortune to vacation in Freeport many years ago. I want to acknowledge all that the beautiful people there are going through and will be going through for a long time to come.

Our love and compassion is greatly needed. Lots of support will be needed there for relief and recovery. This is the time for brotherly and sisterly love and to help if we can.

I have been through many hurricanes including Fran, Frances, Jeanne, Wilma, and Irma. I evacuated for Frances and Irma, so I am well seasoned with this situation. As I am writing this on September 3rd, Hurricane Dorian is still churning off the east coast of Florida, hopefully sparing residents any sort of damage.

But, I have never experienced what our brothers and sisters in the Bahamas just experienced from Dorian. It brings tears to my eyes to see what has happened. The trauma hits on every level.

Given the current situation, I thought I would briefly honor how the Bee Gees supported relief and recovery efforts for another powerful hurricane, Hurricane Andrew. Robin was very familiar with the destruction hurricanes can bring.

As you know, the Bee Gees had homes in Miami Beach at the time Hurricane Andrew went through. For this short post, I wanted to share how they had kind, loving hearts and participated in Hurricane Andrew relief efforts including concerts.

In this book preview, you can read more about how Robin and his family assisted after this hurricane here.

This is all I feel like writing for this week. I’ll get back to writing about afterlife communication with Robin soon.

May you be loved, blessed, protected, safe and healed wherever you are. May loving kindness be yours.

Love,

A Note to My Readers

A Note to My Readers

This post was originally written in August, 2018 and updated in December, 2018.

I want to thank each and every person, with love, for taking the time to visit me here and read my blog posts. I hope it has been interesting, educational and that they have added some mystical beauty to your lives.

You may have noticed that I have not been writing as much lately and there is a good reason for that. In June, I was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer. I had surgery on August 6th (partial mastectomy) and I will have radiation treatment all during the month of September.

In February, March and April of this year (2018), I felt a strong push to finally create this blog and go public with this information about Robin’s ongoing life and our twin soul connection. I was finally able to push past all of the internal resistance to sharing my experiences. I felt like Robin and others in Spirit really wanted this work done, so with some fear, I agreed to write and publish my posts.

afterlife communicationThen, on May 2nd, during my monthly breast exam, I felt a lump in my left breast. I was quite alarmed as you can image. I immediately scheduled a mammogram the day I found the lump.  From there, I went through a series of ultrasounds, MRI’s and biopsy, which determined I had breast cancer. Due to my self-exam, I caught it early at stage 1 and my prognosis is very good. I am expected to be fine, for which I am very grateful. Still, it’s been a scary time for me and Julian as you can imagine. I continued to write as many posts as I could during this period because it was very therapeutic for me. It made me feel like I was still me.

I have greatly loved writing my blog posts about and for Robin, but sometimes I don’t have the mental energy and concentration. I’m so glad I followed my guidance to get this blog up and going while I had the energy to focus.

In my Background section, I wrote about how important it is to follow a path with heart because we don’t know how much time we have here. I’m so glad that I communicated those feelings to you from the outset. When I received my cancer diagnosis, I can honestly say that I felt so glad that I have been living a path with heart by writing this blog and writing my truth about Robin.

afterlife communicationIf there is something you really want to do, I encourage you to do it to the best of your ability and not put it off. Even if you know you are going to be ok, a lot of time and energy is spent at the doctors when you have cancer (or other illnesses) and you may not feel like doing that project you wanted to do for so long. If you can, do the project when you have the energy and when you feel well. If I had wanted to start Paisley and Poppies now, I would not have been able to do it. I’m so grateful that I can now build on the foundation I already created, not build the foundation itself.

Do twin souls often have the same illnesses? Perhaps. Robin had a different kind of cancer than I have. I am very blessed to have a twin that knows what I’m going through. I have shared this experience with Robin every step of the way and his presence with me has given me great comfort. I have felt his love with me, encouraging me not to worry. I pray and chant at his altar, for him and with him, for Julian, for my healing and his ongoing healing. Now I understand much better what he went through, because all cancer patients have similar fears and worries as we face our mortality in our own way. Even if you are going to be ok like I expect to be, you still face your mortality.

afterlife communication

Going through this experience also makes me love and respect Robin even more as I see the spiritual strength that he had while ill and deteriorating. He was still interviewing and singing while he was ill. Many people have no idea how much strength that took Robin to carry on being himself, singing and interviewing, when he had only months left to live in the physical world. I ask you to acknowledge Robin’s great inner strength if you feel so inclined. Let him know that you can see that in him, as I’m sure he would greatly appreciate that. He has a beautiful voice and smile, but as great as that is, he is much more than that. Thank you!

I wanted to communicate openly with you so you know what’s going on and that my not writing has to do with my health status. I will keep writing as often as I can. I have several blog posts in the queue right now. I appreciate your patience with me and I invite you to check back when you can. If you subscribe, you will receive the post in your email when I have a new one.

afterlife communicationThanks once again for taking time out of your day to visit with me here. Robin appreciates it too and we both consider it a blessing.

With Love,

Christina

Update 12/17/2018:

Hello! I just wanted to let you know that I am doing very well with my recovery. I finished radiation treatment in September. It took me all of October to recover from the side effects. I did not need chemotherapy.

Finally in November, I started feeling better. I’m still not back to my pre-cancer strength completely and I need a lot of rest. But, I’m still physically active, ride my bike, and can manage to walk 2 miles without strain. Before I had cancer, I was walking 3.5 miles several times a week. That was important to me and I would like to get back to walking like that.

I take medication now to prevent the cancer from coming back. I have only a 3% chance of recurrence which means I have a 97% chance of not getting breast cancer again. I will focus on the 97% with joy!

I will have a mammogram and ultrasound done early in 2019. I’m expecting good results!

I love writing posts for this website as it continues to be very therapeutic for me. When I write, I am reminded that my connection to Love, to God, and to Robin is very strong. I do my best to write as often as I can.

Afterlife Communications, After Death CommunicationsI find it spiritually interesting that I had cancer around the same time I started this blog. Maybe they were meant to coincide. There is something about having cancer that gives you an edge that you did not have before. In a way, having this illness gave me the strength and courage to write from my heart what I had been reluctant to share for so long. There’s always a silver lining!

If any of my readers are dealing with cancer, please know that my heart goes out to you and I wish you the greatest love, strength and recovery.

Happy Holidays and a very blessed New Year in 2019!

Love,

Christina

Afterlife Communication: License Plates

Afterlife Communication: License Plates

Today’s post is about how loved ones in spirit communicate with us by using license plates. It has happened with Robin and me on many occasions over the years. It’s fun, shocking and amazing all at the same time.

When I write my posts, I often like to offer additional sources to show that what I am saying has some basis in the afterlife communication literature. For this post, I googled, “deceased loved ones license plates” to see what literature I could find. On the second page of google, I found this website:

The post is called 6 Signs from Your Loved-One in Heaven by Ashley Strong (April 20, 2017). One of the 6 signs she lists includes Billboards, License Plates and Text.

I read what she had written and the next thing I know, I see the Bee Gees mentioned! Yes, I did cry because while I’m doing research to prepare to write this blog on my license plate communication with Robin, I see his band mentioned. Here is the excerpt:

BILLBOARDS, LICENSE PLATES, AND TEXT

Spirit easily brings in yo’ face messages this way! It may be a billboard that says “keep going” at the very moment you thought of giving up. It could also be a truck that drives by with a big bluebird posted on the side when you asked to see a bluebird the day before.

Spirit loves to connect with me through license plates. Don’t laugh, I’m serious!

One day (before I was a professional medium) I was having one of those days. Out loud I said –

“Grandma I really really wish I could talk to you today.”

About an hour later I parked my car and happened to glance at the plate in front of me. It read “BEE GEES”, that was my grandma’s favorite band!

Oh, boy! Did the tears start a flowin’!

Well, that was definitely in my face. Wow, maybe I should get a Bee Gees license plate too, lol! That would be a lot of fun. I can’t tell you how much it means to me when Robin’s presence shows up this way. He feels very close right now, as you can imagine. I feel deeply guided in writing this post.

Over the years, I have noticed his initials, “RHG”, on license plates quite often. I have seen a plate with the exact numbers “1222” on it, which is his birth date, December 22. I have seen “ROBYN”, which even though is spelled differently than the spelling of his name, still reminded me of him. Plates with “POPPY” and “POPPI” have shown up on my path, which happily reminded me of our connection with poppies. Within the past few months I have seen a plate, “BGBLUE,” which is important for me because I often comment on how beautiful his blue-tinted eyeglasses were. Blue was also his favorite color. I also saw a plate that said, “BGHOT,” to which I said, “Now you’re just trying to be funny, lol!”

One day a few years ago, I spoke with Robin and said, “I wonder about you. I wonder about where you go and what you do all of the time.” Shortly after this, I went out. Just as I was pulling out of the driveway into traffic, I saw a license plate that said, “I WONDER.” I was so shocked because I had just said that to Robin. How does God time things this way? I may never know. I just surrender to the mystery and allow it to carry me along.

Now, here is one of my favorite communications with license plates.

On January 9, 2014, I wrote this to Robin in my journal:

I was thinking it would be so cool to see a license plate with ROB on it-Any state-the numbers and ROB, like a Colorado plate would be:

XXX-ROB  (the 3 X’s are for any random numbers)

Wouldn’t that be cool! If I ever see that, I know it’s you. Just for fun.

I love and give thanks for you, Robin Gibb.

Love,

Christina

13 days later, on January 22, I went to walk to the store. While I was waiting to cross the street, I saw the license plate I was hoping for, with some variation. It was:  1 ROB

I knew it was Robin with me. It was a Colorado plate, and it was not typical for only one number to be there. Usually it was 3. This seemed to be a personalized plate. It went by so quickly, I did not have time to take a picture. But I will always remember it. Having it show up with the number 1 was actually better than 3 random numbers that did not mean anything. It symbolized his song and album, One. It symbolized the energy of the higher planes of spirit, which is oneness and unity. It also symbolizes our oneness spiritually as twin souls.

It took almost 2 weeks to show up. It’s a good lesson that the signs we ask for may not show up immediately, but when you least expect it. Any rules that say a sign has to show up within a certain timeframe are erroneous in my opinion. We are not privy to all the ways God works and I would not want to limit God with my human time frames. Events are orchestrated and timed by a power much greater than me. When I stepped out the door that day, I had no idea I would see a car go by with that license plate. If I had left a few minutes earlier or later, I would have missed it. That’s how precise spirit is. Spirit knows what it’s doing.

One other thing I’d like to mention about license plates is that when I lived in Colorado, my plate had 3 numbers and then the letters “OBB”:

As I have contemplated my connection with Robin over the years, I came to feel that our spiritual connection manifested in the plate because my plate ended in 2 “B’s” just as his last name does. I bought my Colorado plates several years prior to Robin’s passing when I had no conscious connection to him whatsoever. It’s a mystery of twin souls who did not know each other, that we are connected this way through dates, places we lived, and even a couple of letters on a license plate. I feel something with this. That’s the whole point. If you feel something in connection with a license plate, then listen to your heart, especially when it concerns a loved one in spirit. They could be trying to get your attention. I think it’s important to not be too quick to dismiss something that could be a valuable communication.

I wish you much enjoyable license plate communication with loved ones in spirit.

All my best to you,

Christina

Eternity Symbols

Eternity Symbols

After Robin created the infinity symbols, a new interest in eternity symbols was born within me. I never paid much attention to them before, but I discovered just how many beautiful eternity symbols there are from different cultures around the world.

One of my favorites is called the Serch Bythol. I drew this picture below so you can see what it looks like. I was not able to find a photo that was copyright free:

Robin Gibb, AfterlifeHere is the meaning according to David Morgan:

This Celtic symbol of everlasting love is formed from two triskeles. The triskeles, three cornered knots, denote the three aspects of two people, body, mind and spirit. The two triskeles, joined together, show a circle, the everlasting circle of eternity. Thus the figure represents two people, joined in body, mind, and spirit in everlasting love.

The triskele, a three-cornered knot, is common in Celtic knotwork. The Celts, in keeping with general Indo-European belief, held that life was tripartite in nature and continuous. The three corners of the triskele denoted the three parts, and the knot itself was the endless ribbon of eternity. The tripartite nature of life carried through to Christianity as the Trinity.

He describes the Serch Bythol as being formed from two triskeles. However, it seems more accurate to say that it is formed by joining two triquetras or trinity knots that are stretched out a little bit:

In modern times, the triquetra symbol has become a favorite design element in knot-work, jewelry, emblems, logos etc. as a symbol of anything three-fold e.g. the cycle of life (life-death-rebirth), the promise of a husband to his wife (love-honor-protect), the family (father-mother-child), the passage of time (past-present-future) and many more.

The triskele is more of a spiral and has various meanings:

Derived from the Greek word “Triskeles” meaning “three legs”, the Triskele or Triple Spiral is a complex ancient Celtic symbol. Often referred to by many as a Triskelion, its earliest creation dates back to the Neolithic era, as it can be seen at the entrance of Newgrange, Ireland….

Firstly, the triskele can be thought to represent motion as all three arms are positioned to make it appear as if it is moving outwards from its center. Movement, or motion, is believed to signify energies, in particular within this Celtic Symbol the motion of action, cycles, progress, revolution and competition.

Robin Gibb, Afterlife, Isle of Man Flag

Secondly, and the more challenging area for symbolists, is the exact symbolic significance of the three arms of the triskele. This can differ dependent on the era, culture, mythology and history, which is why there are so many variations as to what these three extensions in the triple spiral symbol mean.

Some of these connotations include: life-death-rebirth, spirit-mind-body, mother-father-child, past-present-future, power-intellect-love and creation-preservation-destruction to name but a few.

It’s thought that through the combination of these two areas we gain one meaning of the Celtic triskele. It is believed to represent a tale of forward motion to reach understanding. However, this is thought not to be the only meaning, as it is also believed to represent three Celtic worlds; the spiritual world, the present world and the celestial world. Like the ancient Trinity knot, the number 3 holds a special symbolism within the triskele.

So, even though the triskele and triquetra are two different symbols, according to these interpretations above, they have essentially the same connotations.

The triskele is also seen in the flag for the Isle of Man, Robin’s country of birth:

Isle of Man FlagThe Manx Flag uses the triskelion symbol. The earliest use of this symbol in the island appears on the Manx Sword of State which is thought to date from around 1230.

The island fell under the rule of England in 1341. The island government flew the Union Jack from the 17th century to July 8, 1929, when the triskelion flag replaced it as a local symbol. There were many artistic variations on the design until the flag was standardized in 1966.

I really love eternity symbols because they are beautiful, ornate, and are a lovely way to tell someone that you love them.

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed it!

Spiritual Significance of Starfish

Spiritual Significance of Starfish

Over the years as I read about Robin and watched interviews, I learned that he liked the sea. So, I decided to place a starfish, sand dollar, and some shells on his altar to bring in that feature.

On June 29, 2015, I walked into my room and noticed that the starfish which had been on top of the altar table for Robin had been moved to my meditation cushion on the floor.

Here is the picture I took:

Even though I was used to Robin moving things at this point, it still surprised me. It always brings me joy when he visits and lets me know he’s here by moving things.

He must have liked the starfish because on a second occasion, he moved it off of the altar table again to the floor. This time he placed it beside a book I had by his altar called The Origins of Music:

In a way, it was like he was pointing out his awareness of this book that I would read to him from.

You can see it in the picture below:

Brief Literature Review on Starfish

Since there were these 2 occasions of the starfish being moved telekinetically, I decided to do some research on the spiritual symbolism of starfish. Here is some information I found.

I especially like this first one by Tania Marie, so I hope you’ll visit the link to see what else she has to say. She has a beautiful, mystical, direct experience with starfish:

“The Starfish is a universal and celestial symbol of infinite divine love. It has been used to represent the Virgin Mary – or Stella Maris, which means Star of the Sea – an ancient title she goes by because she is believed to lovingly intercede as a guide and protector of those who travel over troubled waters or seek their livelihoods on the sea. For this reason she is also seen as an emblem of salvation during trying times, which the Starfish reflects in this mirroring symbolism. In addition to love, the Starfish also emanates the energies of inspiration, guidance, brilliance, intuition, and vigilance, with its connection to the stars.”

According to Dawn Baumann Brunke in the book, The Key to Spirit Animals: From Communication to Meditation: Advice and Exercises to Unlock Your Mystical Potential, starfish are symbols of renewal and regeneration and encourage us to feel deeply. She states that:

Starfish encourages you to fine-tune your feelings and engage subtle levels of awareness so that you may move forward with greater sensitivity and joy. (Page 164)

In the book, Animal Speak: The Spiritual & Magical Powers of Creatures Great and Small, by Ted Andrews, starfish are described. You can also read about this on this Facebook page. Here are some excerpts below:

Starfish Associated Traits
Impulsive, Reflexive, Instinctive, Regeneration, Growth, Sustainable, Magic, Healing, Opposites

Symbolic Meaning Of Starfish
The starfish’s lack of brain is part of what makes its symbolism so important. Because it does not think, the starfish animal totem makes a great symbol for instinct and reflexes. The starfish doesn’t think about what it is going to do, it just does it. This is one of the things that helps to keep the starfish safe and that helps it too keep away from other predators.

If a starfish feels like something is wrong, it will react as soon as it can to save itself. This can apply to a human’s life as well. A person’s instinct is usually right. Many people say that your first guess is usually your best guess. Be like the starfish and use your instinct and reflexes to your benefit.

It is very rewarding to learn about the deeper meaning of starfish. They are so beautiful and sacred.

With my communications with Robin, I often take what he does as a lesson that I should explore more thoroughly. I could say that it’s so great that he moved the starfish twice and leave it at that. However, he is very intelligent and I know he wants me to look at the deeper implications of what he does so I can get more out of the experience. It’s a good habit to get into with signs and communications from loved ones. Dig deeper!

All my best to you,
