After Robin created the infinity symbols, a new interest in eternity symbols was born within me. I never paid much attention to them before, but I discovered just how many beautiful eternity symbols there are from different cultures around the world.
One of my favorites is called the Serch Bythol. I drew this picture below so you can see what it looks like. I was not able to find a photo that was copyright free:
Here is the meaning according to David Morgan:
This Celtic symbol of everlasting love is formed from two triskeles. The triskeles, three cornered knots, denote the three aspects of two people, body, mind and spirit. The two triskeles, joined together, show a circle, the everlasting circle of eternity. Thus the figure represents two people, joined in body, mind, and spirit in everlasting love.
The triskele, a three-cornered knot, is common in Celtic knotwork. The Celts, in keeping with general Indo-European belief, held that life was tripartite in nature and continuous. The three corners of the triskele denoted the three parts, and the knot itself was the endless ribbon of eternity. The tripartite nature of life carried through to Christianity as the Trinity.
He describes the Serch Bythol as being formed from two triskeles. However, it seems more accurate to say that it is formed by joining two triquetras or trinity knots that are stretched out a little bit:
In modern times, the triquetra symbol has become a favorite design element in knot-work, jewelry, emblems, logos etc. as a symbol of anything three-fold e.g. the cycle of life (life-death-rebirth), the promise of a husband to his wife (love-honor-protect), the family (father-mother-child), the passage of time (past-present-future) and many more.
The triskele is more of a spiral and has various meanings:
Derived from the Greek word “Triskeles” meaning “three legs”, the Triskele or Triple Spiral is a complex ancient Celtic symbol. Often referred to by many as a Triskelion, its earliest creation dates back to the Neolithic era, as it can be seen at the entrance of Newgrange, Ireland….
Firstly, the triskele can be thought to represent motion as all three arms are positioned to make it appear as if it is moving outwards from its center. Movement, or motion, is believed to signify energies, in particular within this Celtic Symbol the motion of action, cycles, progress, revolution and competition.
Secondly, and the more challenging area for symbolists, is the exact symbolic significance of the three arms of the triskele. This can differ dependent on the era, culture, mythology and history, which is why there are so many variations as to what these three extensions in the triple spiral symbol mean.
Some of these connotations include: life-death-rebirth, spirit-mind-body, mother-father-child, past-present-future, power-intellect-love and creation-preservation-destruction to name but a few.
It’s thought that through the combination of these two areas we gain one meaning of the Celtic triskele. It is believed to represent a tale of forward motion to reach understanding. However, this is thought not to be the only meaning, as it is also believed to represent three Celtic worlds; the spiritual world, the present world and the celestial world. Like the ancient Trinity knot, the number 3 holds a special symbolism within the triskele.
So, even though the triskele and triquetra are two different symbols, according to these interpretations above, they have essentially the same connotations.
The triskele is also seen in the flag for the Isle of Man, Robin’s country of birth:
The Manx Flag uses the triskelion symbol. The earliest use of this symbol in the island appears on the Manx Sword of State which is thought to date from around 1230.
The island fell under the rule of England in 1341. The island government flew the Union Jack from the 17th century to July 8, 1929, when the triskelion flag replaced it as a local symbol. There were many artistic variations on the design until the flag was standardized in 1966.
I really love eternity symbols because they are beautiful, ornate, and are a lovely way to tell someone that you love them.
Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed it!

I am often amazed at how my twin soul connection with Robin manifests. Today was one of those days. It is like our connection is being woven together by the Divine through the events of my daily life and his life in spirit. I honestly do not know how this works, this process of interconnection of souls who are in different planes of existence. Nevertheless, it happens with Robin and me on a regular basis. It is something I deeply appreciate and want to celebrate. If it were not for this beautiful handiwork of the Divine, which includes Robin’s spirit, this blog would not exist.
Today, I decided to read (or maybe was guided by unseen hands to read) The Book of Awakening: Having the Life You Want by Being Present to the Life You Have, by Mark Nepo. I had not read it in years. It is a book of daily meditations on life, including the author’s experience of cancer. One of my yoga teachers from Colorado read to us in class from this book and I liked it so much, I bought it years ago.
I read through many of the selections randomly, just to see what his reflections were on different life events. Then, I decided to see what he wrote on December 22, Robin’s birthday. I connect strongly with Robin’s birth date and over the years pay close attention to messages associated with his date. I think this is because I missed all of his birthdays, so this is my way of connecting with this special day. To my great surprise and shock was this quote (pg. 419):
December 22: The Lesson
God breaks the heart again and again and again until it stays open. Hazrat Inayat Khan
Hazrat Inayat Khan?? I just wrote a blog post on him called The Question and The Answer on May 10th. I was so amazed by this. Sometimes with Robin, I feel like I’m being followed. It’s this sense of us mirroring each other in the most unpredictable of ways.
Yes, I’m certain that I read this passage for December 22nd at sometime in the past, but it was so long ago, I did not remember anything about the passage and I certainly did not remember any mention of Hazrat Inayat Khan. I would say I’ve had this book by Mark Nepo at least 10 years. At the time I got this book, I knew nothing about Hazrat Inayat Khan and did no additional research on him. It’s important to keep in mind that I only recently learned about and studied Hazrat Inayat Khan. I did not know anything about him until a few months ago, while studying twin souls. I really like this master though, especially his emphasis on the fundamental oneness of all religions:
Now, here he is in this book, connected with Robin’s birth date. This makes me feel a profound connection with Robin and this message. I feel spirit was guiding me to revisit this book at this specific time, given my recent blog post, so that I could see this connection with Robin. This means so much to me. Thank you God and Robin very much for this!
How often do I close my heart against the pain of the world, because it is too much to bear sometimes? What would it take for me to keep my heart open with Divine Love even through the most painful of circumstances? It seems I have to continue to evolve to the point where I am finally able to do that. Life has a way of assisting us all in this because we all encounter deep spiritual challenges. Mark Nepo puts it this way:
Each time I tried to close up what had been opened. It was a reflex, natural enough. But the lesson was, of course, the other way. The lesson was in never closing again.
That is so much easier said than done. It’s a true spiritual practice to learn to keep the heart open. Breathing into the heart, into whatever pain is there, can help. My intuition tells me that with the open heart, forgiveness and acceptance come more easily. When it closes, those important healing processes are delayed.
I am grateful for the deep reflection on life these authors have offered us. I hope you find something of value in this information as well.
How could I close this post without a matching Bee Gees song? You know the obvious one, about mending a broken heart! Perhaps the heart mends when it stays open. Enjoy!
Since I never met Robin, I always wondered about certain everyday things about him. I wondered about what kind of toothpaste he liked, how tall he was, what his favorite foods were and what kind of cologne he liked to wear. I could not find any information about his favorite cologne until I read The Ultimate Biography Of The Bee Gees: Tales Of The Brothers Gibb. I will share this excerpt where he names his favorite cologne at that time in his life:
“I bathe as soon as I get up and before I go to bed. It’s so relaxing … And I like to change my aftershave.” His favourite, he said, was Eau De Cologne 4711 Ice, which he had first picked up in East Africa. “Now I fly to Amsterdam for it specially. It’s terribly hard to get.
Bilyeu, Melinda; Cook,Hector; Môn Hughes,Andrew. The Ultimate Biography Of The Bee Gees: Tales Of The Brothers Gibb (Kindle Locations 6322-6323). Omnibus Press. Kindle Edition.
I was so happy that I finally had some information on cologne that he liked. It had taken over 4 years for me to discover one fragrance he liked. At that time Robin mentioned it was hard to find, but it is now easily available on Amazon.com:
I decided to buy a bottle of it in remembrance of him because some of the reviews were from women who liked it and it seemed like a unisex scent. Plus, I was curious to see what he had liked, although I have no way of knowing whether the scent has changed over the years.
When I received the cologne on June 10, 2016, I put some on and noticed something extremely familiar about it. I have orange blossom cologne by Jo Malone London. I thought, “This smells like my orange blossom cologne with a little mint in it.” After 5 days on June 15th, I decided to read the ingredients for both the 4711 Ice and my orange blossom cologne. They smelled so much alike that I had to check. To my surprise, they have nearly identical ingredients. Here are the ingredients listed on the back of each fragrance. I highlighted the ingredients that are identical for each fragrance:
4711 Ice: Alcohol, Water (Aqua), Fragrance (Parfum), Menthol, Limonene, Ethyl Acetate, Linalool, Citral, Geraniol
Jo Malone Orange Blossom Cologne: Alcohol, Denat, Water\Aqua\Eau, Fragrance (Parfum), Linalool, Hexyl, Cinnamal, Limonene, Citral, Geraniol, Farnesol
This synchronicity was deeply meaningful for me. It had taken me so long to find out about one fragrance he liked and then when I did, it was very similar to one I already owned, in terms of scent and ingredients. It is almost like it is the male and female version of the same fragrance.
That is the essence of communication with loved ones in spirit. There will be something about the occurrence that stands out to you as very important and meaningful. It may not be important to someone else and they may not see it like you do. That is because it was not meant for them. It was meant for you! It will be something that you feel inside, like a strong resonance with the occurrence.
I was amazed that our soul connection showed up in our colognes! This is one example of how a twin soul connection can manifest. You could also have this type of match up with another loved one in spirit or a member of your soul family.
Here are pictures of my colognes with the ingredients listed so you can see them. I hope you enjoyed this tale of the two colognes:

As a result of doing a lot of reading and research since 2012, I have noticed many significant life parallels that I share with Robin. I cannot show you birth certificates and other more personal items showing funeral dates, so I hope that you will trust that I am telling the truth, just as I have with all of the other blog posts. I always do my best to provide documentation and pictures, but sometimes that is not possible.
Here are some interesting life parallels I share with Robin. Then, I will review some literature on this topic.
The number 303:
In Dan Millman’s numerology system that I read about in the book, The Life You Were Born to Live: A Guide to Finding Your Life Purpose, February 8, 1993, I discovered that Robin’s numbers are 30/3. To arrive at this number, you add up the numbers of his birthday, December 22, 1949:
1+2+2+2+1+9+4+9=30 (If you are British, then it would be 2+2+1+2+1+9+4+9).
Then you add the 3+0 to get the final number of 3. You then put them together as 30/3. Of course, his twin brother Maurice has the same numbers, but to my surprise, so does Barry! Barry was born on September 1, 1946:
0+1+0+9+1+9+4+6=30/3
It’s very interesting that the Bee Gees all share the same numbers!
The reason why this is significant is that I lived in Colorado for 11 years where the area code I had was 303.
My husband’s father’s apartment number is 303.
Here is a little about the 30/3 life path number. This is meant to be fun and interesting, but not pigeon-hole a person into a labeled category:
Those on the 30/3 life path are here to work through issues of expression and sensitivity, overcoming self-doubt to express themselves and use their inner gifts to encourage, uplift, and inspire others. Most people come into life to work a mixture of energies, but for 30/3s, their work and destiny are clear and focused. Those working 30/3 have the support of inner gifts, which include highly tuned sensitivity, inner strength, expressiveness and intuition…(pg. 176)
This part also does seem to fit the Bee Gees:
The arena in which 30/3s express may be large, as in performance, teaching, or addressing large groups, or smaller, involving a circle of family and friends. In either case, the challenges and joys of 30/3s arise from expressing their feelings through speech or creative endeavors, such as painting, music, or other media, and from helping others to express their feelings as well. (pg. 176)
The number 17:
The source of this information is: Bilyeu, Melinda; Cook, Hector; Môn Hughes, Andrew. The Ultimate Biography Of The Bee Gees: Tales Of The Brothers Gibb (Kindle Locations 324-325 and 14552). Omnibus Press. Kindle Edition.
Bee Gees’ mom Barbara’s birthday was November 17:
Barbara was born in the Bolton district of Manchester on November 17, 1920.
My younger brother’s birthday is November 17.
Robin was 17 years older than me if you subtract birth years: 1966-1949=17
There were 17 years between when Robin married in 1985 and I married in 2002: 2002-1985=17
…Robin and Dwina were married in Wheatley in Hampshire on July 31, 1985…
The number 5:
Robin was together about the same amount of time with his wife as I was with my husband before we married. I met my husband in 1997 and married in 2002. 2002-1997=5
Robin was together with his wife for nearly five years before marrying according to my source:
After being together for nearly five years, Robin and Dwina were married in Wheatley in Hampshire on July 31, 1985…
Bilyeu, Melinda; Cook,Hector; Môn Hughes,Andrew. The Ultimate Biography Of The Bee Gees: Tales Of The Brothers Gibb (Kindle Location 14552). Omnibus Press. Kindle Edition.
The numbers 35/36:
We were both to turn 36 years old in the years we got married, but we were both still 35 when we got married:
Christina: 2002-1966=36
Robin: 1985-1949=36
September 1:
Robin’s brother Barry was born on September 1, 1946
My older brother’s birthday is September 1.
May 20
May 20, 2012 is Robin’s passing date:
My grandmother’s funeral date was May 20th many years ago. I found out when I was going through some of my old papers and found her funeral program that I kept. That was a very emotional moment for me and hit me hard. I felt a strong soul family/twin soul connection with that parallel.
The number 7:
I’m not sure if it means anything, but October 6 (my birthday) and Robin’s birth date (December 22) both add up to 7.
1+0+6 = 7
1+2+2+2 = 7
Braintree
I grew up in Southeastern Massachusetts. There are lots of small towns forming the suburbs of Boston. There is a city a little closer to Boston called Braintree that was near the town I grew up in. It was like my backyard. I went there or through there on a weekly basis while I lived there.
As I got older, I used to take the train (T) into Boston on a regular basis from the Braintree station. Braintree was an important part of my everyday life. It was the closest train station to the town I grew up in. Just think back to the place where you grew up and the surrounding towns and neighborhoods and your connection with them. That’s how I feel when I talk about Braintree.
In, what for me is a very powerful parallel, I discovered that Robin’s former partner Claire was born in Braintree, Essex in England:
Born in Braintree, Essex, in 1975, Claire Yang…
Braintree, Massachusetts is named after Braintree, Essex in England.
Because of the strong connection to Braintree, MA that I mentioned, when I read about where Claire was born, I had a little of what I would call twin soul shock. It is because of these heart-touching parallels, that I came to feel one with Robin on a spiritual level. When the parallels started connecting back to my hometown and my grandmother as I mentioned, this really hit home that we were matching each other even when we did not know each other.
I also wanted to mention that my birth in Massachusetts in 1966 is close to the timing of the release of the Bee Gees’ song Massachusetts, released in 1967:
Dissertation
Many years ago, I completed all of my requirements for a doctoral degree in psychology except for my dissertation. Nevertheless, I had a topic chosen and I had planned to write about cancer prevention diets and message framing. I wanted to study which type of message framing would be more effective in encouraging people to eat a healthier diet.
While I was in graduate school, I also volunteered to take patients with cancer to their doctor’s appointments for chemotherapy. In 2010, I took care of a close friend in home hospice who had lung cancer. So, now when I reflect on how Robin had cancer, I see how that connection with him is mirrored back in the work I did. I also had to face my own bout with breast cancer in 2018.
Gold Coast
Robin and I both lived on the Gold Coast for a time, but in different continents!
I lived in Palm Beach County, Florida for about five years. This county is located in the Gold Coast section of Florida.
Robin lived on the Gold Coast during his childhood in Queensland, Australia:
“We got a break when we moved to a place called Surfers’ Paradise, which is [60 miles south of] Brisbane,” Robin recalled. The Gold Coast, a 20 mile coastline filled with hotels and clubs, is the ideal place for any manager looking to find regular bookings for his clients.
Enjoying bright sunshine for nine months of the year, its centre is Surfers’ Paradise; a four mile stretch between the surf beach and the Nerang River. “The three of us played Surfers’ Paradise at the Beachcomber Hotel for six weeks, six shows a night,” Robin continued.
Bilyeu, Melinda; Cook,Hector; Môn Hughes,Andrew. The Ultimate Biography Of The Bee Gees: Tales Of The Brothers Gibb (Kindle Locations 1350-1354). Omnibus Press. Kindle Edition.
Here is some additional information from another source:
…After leaving Brisbane, the Gibb family – father Hugh, mother Barbara, daughter and eldest child Lesley, and sons Barry, Robin, Maurice and Andy (the youngest, who found fame as a solo singer) – moved to the Gold Coast, then Sydney, where the boys had their first hit single with Spicks and Specks. In 1967 they returned to the UK, where producer Robert Stigwood guided them to world fame. Through various musical incarnations, they sold more than 220 million records. Barry and Robin wrote almost every song, and in 1997 the group was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as “Britain’s first family of harmony”.
Even though we ended up living in Palm Beach County, at one point, my husband and I had looked for an apartment in Miami. Only after studying the Bee Gees in 2012 and later years did I know they had homes in Miami. In 2003, I was living a couple of hours north in Palm Beach County when Maurice passed away in Miami. But at that time, I had no conscious connection to Robin whatsoever.
I have never been to Australia, so on a spiritual level unbeknownst to me, this was the closest I could get to where and how Robin lived in Australia. My soul picked the Gold Coast, but in Florida! When Robin met me after his passing, I was living in Colorado. It seems to be some kind of necessary detour. I can imagine him saying, “What are you doing in Colorado? You’re supposed to be in Florida!” I’m joking, but it does seem like that because after 11 years in Colorado, we moved back to Florida, but to a different part, for family reasons.
Some Literature on Life Parallels
It has been written in many places in the twin soul literature that twin souls often experience matching life circumstances. This is especially important given that twin souls rarely meet and according to some, are not supposed to meet. Since we usually don’t meet, life parallels discovered after the fact truly help twin pairs come to the realization that they were connected all along. On a spiritual level, I believe the life parallels are orchestrated to give evidence of this spiritual connection that was occurring outside of their everyday awareness.
Sal Rachele in the book Life on the Cutting Edge (pg. 126) states that:
Only on rare occasions do twin flames incarnate at the same time and meet in the Earth. If a soul is not sufficiently evolved, such a meeting can be a distraction, rather than a help. It is not unusual for twin flame relationships on Earth to be just as co-dependent and addictive as any other relationship.
In the book Soul Integration (pgs. 85-86) Sal Rachele goes on to say that even if your twin is in the higher realms, like Robin is, the parent part of your soul still may not want twins to be in contact until you have evolved sufficiently enough:
On planet Earth, there are a lot of built-in restrictions to prevent premature contact with twin flames. These conditions are designed to help souls focus on their life purpose and mission. Your soul agreed to these boundaries prior to incarnating here. The most common safeguard is orchestrated by the parent part of your soul. Essentially, your soul agrees to keep you away from open contact with your twin flame until you have evolved sufficiently to be able to handle the emotional ramifications of such contact. Many relatively unevolved souls would drop everything and seek immediate exit from the body if they were given the chance to communicate with their twin flame in the higher realms. At the very least, they would lose interest in continuing on their Earthly path, and might spend every minute of the day pining for their cosmic counterpart.
Here is another article I found about twin souls and parallel lives.
The author mentions the life path numbers 29 and 11. It so happens that my numbers are 29/11: 1+0+0+6+1+9+6+6=29/11. That puts me right next to 30/3. I think it is fun to notice that most of all.
I hope you enjoyed this post. Thank you for joining me!
Love,
Christina
By 2013, I had a well-established spiritual connection with Robin due to the powerful dreams and synchronicity I experienced with him. I wrote to you about how he introduced himself to me by also engaging in telekinesis by moving the picture I had for him on his altar twice. If you have not read it, please see the post “Picture Turned Upside Down” in the Telekinesis section because this was how Robin first presented his skills with telekinesis.
I don’t know how our loved ones in spirit learn this skill of telekinesis, but Robin got progressively better at it. He had a very active period of telekinesis especially in 2013 and 2014. During this time, he created 2 infinity symbols: one single and one double.
Single Infinity Symbol:
During the late evening hours of July 12, 2013, I was in my kitchen cleaning up. (If you are wondering how I know these exact dates, it is because I kept a journal beginning in 2012, documenting communications from Robin. Now, I can look back to see when something happened, in most cases).
I looked at my teapot on the counter and then I noticed a loop on the left side of the handle. I looked at it more closely on both sides and exclaimed, “That’s a figure-eight!” It was made out of my dental floss. I was so surprised and amazed. How did my dental floss end up on my teapot handle, in the shape of an infinity symbol? I knew it was Robin because he had been around since May, 2013, moving different items around his altar and in my apartment. This was a teapot I was using on a nearly daily basis, so he knew it was mine. It was only my husband and me living in our apartment and I’m the only tea drinker. My husband does not drink tea or use the teapot the infinity symbol was left on.
Here are 3 pictures of the infinity symbol Robin left for me on my teapot handle. The second image is my favorite and very mystical. Being given this infinity symbol has meant so much to me spiritually. It is very sacred. This really helped to cement my soul connection with Robin into something eternal. I am sharing this with you to show you how twin souls can communicate across dimensions. I want to share that a person in spirit can do this. Not only can some spirits move things, they can create designs. It is an amazing education to bear witness to the fact that Robin learned to focus his energy enough to create this very exact, commonly-known symbol:
There is a great deal of genius, brilliance and intelligence in this creative, loving action taken by the spirit energy of Robin. Only a very healthy, well-adjusted, kind, loving spirit would use his consciousness to leave a sign like an infinity symbol, created out of dental floss, on my teapot handle. It needs to be appreciated that it could take quite a bit of energy for a loved one in spirit to do something this creative and thoughtful.
I write this to celebrate and honor Robin’s creativity as a spiritual being. He left me the message in a unique way that he knew I would see it and be able to capture the image in a photograph. Thank you so very much, Beloved Robin.
Sometimes, messages from our loved ones in spirit come very quickly, like with a license plate on a passing car with their name on it. Sometimes, there’s no time to take a picture and all you have is the memory that you saw a sign of them with you for a fleeting moment. But in this case, he made sure I would have a keepsake and reminder of our eternal connection, the beauty of his spirit and what he is now capable of doing to express his feelings.
Double Infinity Symbol:
On April 17, 2014, I walked into my bathroom and turned on the light. On the carpet, I saw another infinity symbol made out of dental floss, but this time, in the form of a double-twist. Robin is very good at finding my dental floss and I’m sure one of the spirit world’s greatest floss artists! Here is the picture below:
Since he left me the single twist on the teapot handle, I knew that this was an additional message to compliment the first one.
Around the time Robin made this double infinity symbol, I was studying the work of Stephen Linsteadt and Maria Elena Boekemeyer. Their book is called The Heart of Health: The Principles of Physical Health and Vitality (2003).
Their work involves a discussion of quantum healing, mobius supercoil DNA, and scalar waves. Unconditional love, thoughts and emotions are discussed in terms of implications for our physical health.
I was drawn to their work because of their discussion of mobius supercoil DNA. After I found the first infinity symbol, I had been drawn to study as much as I could about the figure-eight, not just as a soul mate sign, but other contexts as well.
In the book, there were pictures of what looked like long infinity strands. Here is an example which you can see if you scroll down to mathematical description section.
I believe Robin was mirroring what I was studying at the time which is another beautiful way of communicating.
The infinity symbol is well-known as an eternity symbol. It is also a symbol of union and oneness at the soul level. It is the sentiment expressed in the Bee Gees’ song One.
Since Robin spent part of his childhood in Australia and also performed concerts in New Zealand, I would like to present interpretations of the single and double infinity symbol from that part of the world to honor him. The indigenous people of New Zealand are the Maori. Here are the Maori interpretations of the Pikorua or infinity symbol:
Pikorua (Single Twist):
The Maori twist or Pikorua resembles two intertwined pikopiko ferns. Pikopiko is a pale green new-growth fern frond that thrives in shady, damp areas of the New Zealand woods and Rua is the Maori word for the number two.
The entanglement has no beginning or end which refers to an eternal bond between two autonomous entities. These entities might be two persons. The pikorua symbol shows how individuals sometimes go their own way on their path of life but always come back together because of their strong bond hence the description of pikorua as “The path of love and life”.
The Pikorua symbolizes the strength and beauty of enduring friendship and interwoven lives. It is inspired by the symbols of life and growth.
Pikorua (Double Twist):
It represents the joining together of two peoples, two cultures for eternity. Even though they experience the highs and lows of life, they remain bonded by friendship and loyalty for life.
Infinity Symbol: Twin Soul Sign:
Infinity symbols are also a twin soul sign. The infinity symbols Robin left for me served as additional confirmation. With this work he presented, I feel he made it abundantly clear. According to Cassidy Cayne, it is one of the core symbols of twin souls:
Use of Symbols in Spirit Communication:
When our loved ones pass away, they (and we on earth) are required to learn a whole new way of communicating. We can no longer sit down face to face with our physical vehicles and talk verbally. The great thing about that is it opens up incredible new avenues of communication that we never would have used otherwise! When you did not know each other, this can create an opportunity for getting to know each other as you can come up with your own symbols and system of communicating. Most importantly, you must believe and trust that this is possible with your loved ones in spirit.
Author David Fontana, Ph.D. takes a Jungian approach to symbols in his book, The Secret Language of Symbols: A Visual Key to Symbols and Their Meanings (1993, 2003). I would like to close with this statement which is a good explanation of why the use of symbols is still important to our loved ones in spirit:
Symbols are profound expressions of human nature and occur in all cultures at all times. From their first appearance in Paleolithic caves, they have accompanied the development of civilization, and in their correct context they still speak powerfully to our intellect, emotions and spirit.
Human communication depends largely on signs in the form of written or spoken words, images or gestures. These symbols are conscious and explicit representations of reality – of objects, actions and concepts in the world around us. But there is another aspect of symbolism that is equally important though less explicit: the side that relates to our inner psychological and spiritual world (italics mine). Within this inner world, a symbol can represent some deep intuitive wisdom that eludes direct expression. (p. 9).
I hope you enjoyed this study of infinity symbols and Robin’s mini floss art gallery!
Update:
On May 6th, 5 days after I wrote this post, I met a woman from New Zealand for the first time in my life! I spoke with her about Maori tradition and proper pronunciation of vowels in this culture.
We also spoke about the capital city Wellington and Auckland. She educated me on the differences between Australia and New Zealand. It was so much fun to meet her! For many years, I have been reading about Maori traditions, but had never met anyone from New Zealand to talk about it. She taught me the proper pronunciation of “Maori,” which I had wrong for a long time. It was great to learn. I thank God and Robin for arranging that meeting for me. I love you!
