Afterlife Spice

Afterlife Spice

On December 6, 2018, I served Robin a love offering of raspberry tea.

I love how this aromatic tea scents the room. I said a prayer and sat at his altar while I ate my lunch. When I do that, I feel his presence. It feels like I’m sitting with him. Since we both like classical music, I played Schubert Serenade for relaxation.

I made some black bean soup for lunch because it was a little chilly. I spoke with Robin about what I had made and shared how I added organic turmeric to my soup.

I mentioned to him that I had not been cooking much lately so I had not been using it. I read that heating it releases the healing properties, so I did not want to use it without warming it up. I haven’t cooked with Turmeric since the end of August.  I have been eating a lot of salads and foods that I don’t’ have to cook because it is easier and healthy. But on this day, I felt like eating something warm, so I remembered to add it to my soup. Turmeric has multiple healing benefits that I have read about.

Afterlife CommunicationsRecipes

After lunch, I received some amber glass spray bottles in the mail that I ordered for Julian a couple of days ago. I ordered them so I can make him homemade shower spray using hydrogen peroxide.  Several months ago, I transitioned to using more homemade and fewer store-bought cleaners.

After I looked at the bottles, I researched recipes for the shower spray.

While scrolling down to read the recipe, I noticed a recipe for Golden Turmeric milk in the margin! Nice synchronicity! Here is a screenshot of what I saw:

Afterlife Communications

I really enjoyed this mirroring. It is great timing to read about this milk given the time of year. This recipe provides an easy way to heat turmeric so I can still get the benefits without a lot of extra work. I feel like Robin was aware of what I shared with him, answered my concern and gave me a practical solution! I wasn’t directly asking for help, but he gave it to me anyway. I feel him saying, “Well, if you can heat up soup, you can heat up this milk!” Easy-breezy! What a great idea! I did not know about making turmeric milk.

This synchronicity shows how our loved ones in spirit can respond to what we say to them through the activities of our daily lives. Their responses to us are not limited to dream communication only. I believe we are guided by our loved ones in spirit on a regular basis. It doesn’t have to be something monumental that would cause our loved ones to be involved in our lives. Some of them like being involved in the small, everyday things too.

Soothing Relief

Later in the evening, a few hours after reading about the turmeric milk, I wanted to rest and watch some television. First, I watched The Great British Baking Show Holiday Special for fun. I love that show. It’s so relaxing and I enjoy the creativity. Have you seen it?

Then I watched an episode of Hollywood Medium with Tyler Henry

I watched Season 3, Episode 5 with K. Michelle. During her interview with Tyler, K. Michelle mentioned that her Aunt Robin (not sure if this is the correct spelling) died due to rheumatoid arthritis.

K. Michelle’s comment ties into what I had been reading a few hours earlier in the article about golden turmeric milk! The author of the article wrote about having problems with arthritis and how the milk helped with joint pain and swelling. K. Michelle’s aunt’s name being Robin also added to the synchronicity.

Here is what the author said about arthritis and turmeric:

“Turns out, it’s also helped people with arthritis like mine. Although I’m grateful for modern medicine and a supportive rheumatologist, my pain meds make me nauseous, so I avoid taking them for all but the worst flares.”

“So, I searched the internet for other ways to get more turmeric in my diet and ran across various turmeric latte and turmeric milk recipes. The one that I tried tasted vile. Still, I forced myself to drink it for five straight nights. Sure enough, I noticed less joint pain and swelling. I slept better, too.”

Seeing and hearing a reference to rheumatoid arthritis twice in one day caught my attention and caused me to revisit what the author had written. Perhaps someone reading this could benefit from this information. I hope it helps somebody, or someone you love.

Afterlife CommunicationsThe Essence of Love

There were a lot of messages connected with my lunch time discussion with Robin about turmeric. He must have enjoyed that lunch! The synchronicity was very interesting. I love when the events of my life are tied together in this way. It is a beautiful interconnectedness that makes life very rewarding.

When I receive these communications, I feel elated. I really cannot convey in words how much it means to me to be connected with Robin spiritually. It means everything to me. Communicating with Robin is an incredible spiritual gift. This gift has helped me to transcend the turmoil and pain of living in the physical world on numerous occasions over the years. Loved ones in spirit can do this for us. They were here and know what it’s like to go through illness, various types of loss, and hassles of daily living. Having this contact with Robin adds a layer of softness to my life that he brings in his own unique way. His presence helps soften the hard edges of life.

I see all of these communications with Robin as pure love coming into my life from a higher, more loving plane of existence. They encourage my heart and uplift my spirit. I hope you are experiencing this with your twin and/or loved ones in spirit. I also hope you are feeling the thread of love being woven throughout this website. I want to bring in as much high frequency loving energy to my readers as I can so you are uplifted and encouraged as well. Sometimes I feel it necessary to write about serious topics. But for the most part, I want to keep my writing focused on loving, joyful and fun afterlife communication experiences with Robin.

Everyday Living

If you want to communicate with loved ones in spirit, a good way to do this is to pay close attention to what is going on in your everyday life. That is where you are and that is what they will work with. Some people like to work with psychics and mediums and get great results. But I don’t think that is always necessary as many spirit loved ones are accessible to you right where you are. If you ask for a message to come to you from a loved one in spirit, most likely, the response will show up in your everyday life experience. To receive the message, we have to stay attuned and aware in our lives once we have asked for it.  I have also learned that it is important to acknowledge and show appreciation for any helpful and loving communication. Gratitude keeps the flow active!

You can then get into a rhythm with the giving and receiving of messages that leads to a strong sense of togetherness. I have felt this sense of togetherness from my heart with Robin since the spring of 2012. I have felt this largely because of the reciprocity that has existed between us over the years. If he had not responded back to me, I would have given up on communication with him because I would not have wanted to disturb him in any way. The dreams, nearly daily synchronicity, and telekinesis all add to this strong sense of togetherness.

Afterlife CommunicationsBeing Together

Based on my experiences, I firmly believe that people living in the physical world can still be together with loved ones after they pass away. Having faith that you can be together is very helpful in this process. This togetherness can involve people you knew or people you did not know. If you did not know them in your current lifetime, perhaps you knew them in another place and time within Eternity. Or, perhaps they knew and remembered you once they crossed over. They could come back for a surprise visit! If there is spiritual openness and a sense of mutual connection, then the stage is set for beautiful communications to occur.

The afterlife communication literature as a whole is not very good at acknowledging the communications and spiritual connections between people and spirits that did not know each other in one particular lifetime. However, the connections occur whether they are acknowledged or not. This is one reason why I wanted to create this blog: to address this type of connection and the truth of it. We don’t know how common it is because many people are understandably reluctant to share their experiences. But, I have hope that things are slowly improving.

Sometimes the togetherness we share with deceased loved ones may manifest as brief, carefully selected communications, and then you don’t hear from them for a while. On other occasions, the togetherness can present itself in consistent, long-term communication. I’m sure it can manifest on many different levels, including over breakfast, depending on what is best for all parties involved!

In closing, I hope you enjoyed this post and I wish you great fun this holiday season! If you’re interested in trying the golden turmeric milk recipe, I hope you like it! It could be a nice alternative to hot chocolate. I’ve made it a few times now. The recipe is delicious and the milk has a yummy scent!

Christina

Afterlife Communication: Starry Ceiling

Afterlife Communication: Starry Ceiling

The afterlife communication synchronicity I am about to share with you means a lot to me and is very important to my heart spiritually. For this post, I’m going to go back a couple of years. On October 16, 2016, I was reading a book about the Bee Gees called, The Ultimate Biography of The Bee Gees: Tales of the Brothers Gibb (2013) by Hector CookAndrew Mon Hughes, and Melinda Bilyeu.

I was reading chapter 36 where the discussion was about how the brothers decided to take some time apart to do separate things they were each interested in. I include this part about Robin house-hunting, because it ties into the synchronicity I will describe in this blog post:

For Robin, it was house-hunting and a new LP…(1)

The story of how Robin discovered the Prebendal House, his home in England, is reviewed:

It might not have been the conventional idea of paradise, but Robin and Dwina have never made any pretence of being a conventional couple. A medieval mansion, The Prebendal was built in the twelfth century by the English theologian Robert Grosseteste and for 500 years played a strictly ecclesiastical role as a place where priests trained to become bishops. The property still has its own chapel and refectory…(2)

As I continued to read, I discovered how Robin’s wife Dwina restored the ceilings of their new house with beautiful hand-paintings. Her restoration work was inspired by Rycote Chapel:

After buying the house, the couple decided to restore the property to its medieval glory. They searched the country for authentic doors, wood paneling and furnishings – even a suit of armour. Inspired by Rycote Chapel, Dwina hand-painted the ceilings in a soft, pale blue with gold stars. The chapel on the estate was carefully restored and remains a consecrated Christian chapel.(3)

Afterlife CommunicationsSo, I read this information, but there are no pictures of the ceiling Dwina painted in the book, so I did not know what it looked like.

The next evening, October 17, 2016, I decided to watch an episode of House Hunters Renovation Collection. They are fun shows about remodeling houses. I was watching them quite often at the time. In this episode, there was a lovely couple with a baby girl. When the real estate agent showed them a house, one of the bedrooms had a ceiling that was painted blue. It also had clouds and gold stars.

I thought of how I had just read the night before that Dwina had painted the ceilings a soft pale blue with gold stars. I thought it sounded very similar to what I was seeing on House Hunters, except that the clouds were not mentioned in the description of Dwina’s painting. Also, the blue from the house they were shown on the show was a little darker than pale blue. Still, it seemed like a synchronicity because of the blue ceiling and gold stars.

I decided to research Rycote Chapel to see if I could find a picture of the ceiling Dwina was inspired by. I was able to find a great picture. The ceiling of the chapel looks similar to the ceiling of the house on House Hunters, albeit much more ornate and beautiful. There are clouds on the Rycote chapel ceiling!

Here is the best picture of the Rycote Chapel ceiling that I could find. It is located in Oxfordshire, England which is the same county Robin lived in:

Here is more information on Rycote Chapel if you are interested:

Here are the screen shots I took of the ceiling on the House Hunters show that synchronized with what I was reading in the Bee Gees’ book. Observe the profound similarities:

I felt to be in such incredible alignment with Robin spiritually through this synchronicity. It is such a powerful mirror image.

I was engaging in an activity that connected back to Robin (reading about him and Dwina house-hunting). Through divine guidance, I watched a show on house-hunting within about 24 hours which presented a ceiling design with precisely the same motif as the one Dwina painted. The chance of that occurring by chance alone is very slim. There are dozens, perhaps hundreds of House Hunters episodes. I watched the one with the blue ceiling and gold stars with clouds. It’s the only time I have seen that on any House Hunters episodes. Here is a link for the show if you are interested. I cannot find the show I watched over two years ago, but this link will give you an idea about what the show is like if you have never seen it:

This synchronicity left me feeling very connected to Robin and very grateful for our closeness. This is the truth of my heart.

I hope you enjoyed this communication about the starry ceilings. It’s a synchronicity about something pretty, artistic and creative. I researched the different spiritual meanings of stars, which are commonly known. In the end though, to me, the synchronicity meant that Robin was with me, saying “Hello! I’m still here with you Christina.” It was comforting and reassuring. Synchronicity is one of our primary ways of communicating. Synchronicity is very powerful and not to be underestimated. It lets me know he’s around and aware of what I am doing. It’s amazing and really elevates my energy when I connect with him like that. I feel elated and happy. The synchronicity helps me to not miss him so much.

For some of our loved ones in spirit, I think it’s their way of keeping in touch with people they love on earth. If you think about it from Robin’s perspective, he is communicating with me, a person who can’t see him or hear him audibly. So, if he wants to get my attention, synchronicity, especially related to something written in a book about his personal life, is very effective.

The fact that the starry ceilings were connected to a chapel and a bedroom are also significant in conveying a message of love, comfort, peace, rest, and security.

A woman named Laura, who writes a blog called Zingara 84, is one of my favorite writers that I’ve come across in my twin soul journey with Robin. She writes so eloquently about this theme of synchronicity as messages of love and reassurance. Here are a couple of brief excerpts I would like to share. The first excerpt is from one of my all-time favorite posts about synchronicity:

…But the synchronicities, for many twins, also serve as a sign of reassurance, and that is probably how many of them are intended by the universe – to reassure.  When people believe in signs, simply having seen a lot of them pointing towards the same person can help them to trust that that person is meaningful, worth remembering, and worth opening their hearts to.  And also to trust that you are worthy of the love that you feel…

Here is the second excerpt from another of Laura’s excellent posts about why synchronicities happen when they do. I feel this is what is going on with the starry ceiling synchronicity:

Because Spirit is just sending you love.  Just because.  Maybe you “need” it, or maybe there’s nothing particularly challenging going on for you right now that you might think you need support with.  Still, synchronicities are Spirit’s way, often, of saying hello, reminding you that you are cared for and watched over.  For example, sometimes synchronicities point to one of your soulmates sending you love energy or lending more of their own energy than usual to assist you with whatever healing/growing you’re working on.  This is possible even if your human selves are not in contact.  The synchronicities then would not mean that you “have” to be in contact or “will” soon be — just that their soul is with you, offering a lot of love and support.

One last point I would like to make is that communicating with loved ones and/or twins in spirit can and will take some additional work on the part of those still in the physical world. I did additional research on Rycote Chapel to see if I could find more information. If I had not done that, I would not have received the synchronicity. The lesson is that if you have the inclination or inner guidance to do research, stop by a store, or watch a t.v. show, listen to your guidance. That may be the extra work you need to do so your loved one in spirit can communicate with you.

Afterlife Communications

Robin knows that my former career was in psychology research, so he knows I’m going to look things up and he doesn’t mind putting me to work! Your twin and/or loved one in spirit will work with your strengths as well. I have learned so many things that I would not have otherwise known. My life has been deeply enriched and blessed by my communications with Robin. I wish the same for you!

The Initiate

The Initiate

(Note to reader: Please read the post called Psychedelic Afterlife before reading this post so you will have the proper context. These two posts go together. Thank you!)

In writing the post called Psychedelic Afterlife, I also began to think about this notion of Robin being an initiate and what it entails. I found some passages by Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov pertaining to artists as initiates which apply very well to him. (For more information on Aivanhov, see my post http://paisleyandpoppies.net/2018/05/10/spiritual-protection/).

Here are some of Aivanhov’s quotes that I feel reflect Robin as an artist and an initiate. Underlining and bold are mine:

Artist – as understood from an initiatic point of view

So many men and women in the world call themselves artists! And they actually do compose, write, paint, sing, play, dance, and so on. But they themselves, deep down, what are they? From the perspective of Initiatic Science, a true artist is someone who desires to be a channel for beauty and harmony and to reflect them. This is why they use their own flesh as matter to be sculpted, as canvas to be painted. And their chisels or paintbrushes are their thoughts and feelings. Beauty is a living reality, whose springs remain hidden in the depths of our being, and when it bursts forth it impregnates our whole body – our skin, our expression, our smile and even our voice. But only luminous thoughts and selfless feelings of love can give you this beauty. And then, wherever you go, you leave in your path the fragrance of the flowers that are blossoming and the fruits that are ripening in the garden of your soul.

Afterlife CommunicationsArtists and initiates – open up the divine world to humans

For most artists, the act of creation is just an instinct; they are impelled to express themselves, it is an inner need, but they do not particularly ask themselves what they, let alone others, gain from it. Often they will expound very earnestly on a few theories they have constructed, but their ideas are so personal and limited! You cannot call that ‘creating’.

True creation begins with knowledge of the laws of the psychic and spiritual worlds, which are magic laws. So it involves modeling one’s work on the divine world. To be an artist is to strive for perfection – perfection of meaning, form, movement, color and sound – with the aim of opening up the divine world to human beings. And so true artists can be said to be initiates. They constantly ask themselves how to become one with the light, one with beauty, one with power, one with universal life.

From my point of view, Robin, along with his brothers, did strive for perfection in their music and opened up the divine world to human beings. I feel that the Bee Gees were a clear channel for beauty and harmony and reflected these qualities. Robin sang about love his entire life, which is the cornerstone of the divine world. Bee Gees’ and some of Robin’s solo songs are filled with themes of the eternal, the afterlife, forever, oneness, heaven, joy, miracles, soul and spirit.

Afterlife CommunicationsTwo of Robin’s songs in particular point to the afterlife: Don’t Cry Alone and One Million Years. He was an artist very in touch with the divine world, even as an adolescent. He opened it up to us through his voice which was directly connected to his heart. One Million Years carries the poignant theme of a deceased person waiting for a loved one still on earth:

When it comes to Don’t Cry Alone, I have always felt that this song is less about a deceased passenger on the Titanic and more about Robin communicating a personal message to those he loves, from his soul.

Listen to him sing the song and see if you can hear it as a personal message if you feel connected with him spiritually. That is how I hear the song. At the time this song was released, Robin did not have much time left on the physical plane. At the soul level he knew this and I believe strongly that he meant for it to be a message and gift to his family first and then to his friends, loved ones and fans.

Afterlife CommunicationsFrom The Titanic Requiem, here are liner notes for Don’t Cry Alone: A husband is taken by the sea, and with all the power of his soul he calls out to his wife not to cry alone. He reassures her that his spirit will always guide her and their children, and begs that she never doubt him. He is only a whisper away. She only has to think of him and he will be there. She need never cry alone again. (The Titanic Requiem, composed by Robin Gibb and RJ Gibb, Performed by Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, 2012)

Just like many people, I have never been able to listen to this song without crying. I also feel a special connection with this song as Robin truly has been with me since his passing. He meant what he said in this song. It is the perfect example of how he opened up the divine world to human beings because in this song, I hear him speaking from the afterlife. Since he passed, he opened up the divine world to me and connects with me from that place. I love him eternally for that. I am so grateful that he is the one to introduce me to the divine world while I’m still embodied.

Ultimately, I feel that Robin was able to open humans up to the divine world because he sang from his heart. Doing anything from one’s heart creates the strongest connection with divine energies. To close this post, here are some quotes from Robin illustrating this point:

“I don’t sing with my voice, I sing with my heart.”

“I sing how I feel. I know I haven’t got a great voice but I manage to touch something inside other people that they understand…”

Afterlife Communications“Dylan sings in the same way as me. He uses his heart as an instrument. Even I can’t understand completely why this works but it does. It’s not possible for any artist to jump outside themselves and see themselves for what they are…”

I’m amazed that at one point in his life, Robin did not think he had a great voice. I know there are millions of fans who love his unique voice and kindly disagree with him on that point.

Now that he is in Spirit, I hope he can see more clearly how much he was and is loved as a singer and wonderful person. Yes Robin, you did manage to touch something inside of other people. You touched our hearts and souls in a way no other singer could. We dance, celebrate, cry, and express love with the beat of your music. In other words, with your voice, you helped us to live and live more fully with great joy. Thank you!

Love,

Christina

Psychedelic Afterlife

Psychedelic Afterlife

Psychedelic Afterlife

A couple of years ago, I discovered this video on You Tube of an afterlife interview with Robin. The interview was by Kari Mena and Alison Allan of The Shiny Show. Here is the link below:

I know many people are skeptical about afterlife interviews such as these, but I enjoyed it and got something from it. I think it is good to be skeptical about afterlife interviews being done through mediumship, especially when they show up on You Tube. However, I experienced two synchronicities around the time I watched the interview, so I felt like I was aligning with Robin’s energy. As a result, I thought that it was possible that Alison and Kari were connecting with Robin’s spirit. I enjoyed the interview, their sensitivity and sense of humor.

In this post, I am going to review one synchronicity that I experienced, which has to do with the psychedelic nature of the afterlife.

The part of the interview that I want to discuss has to do with what Alison said Robin experienced at his passing. This is at the 30:20 mark on the video. I am transcribing it here to make it easier for discussion in this blog post. Kari is asking Robin a question and Alison is describing what Robin is communicating to her:

Kari: And when you did pass, how was your crossing?  What did you experience?

Alison: Um…He just showed me, you know Jack in the box, how they just go Boom! And that’s…he jumped out of the Jack in the box, and wearing this multi-colored pin striped jacket, the dandy hat, and sort of landed in, um, Alice in Wonderland type…(laughter)

Kari: Wow! That sounds great! I’m taking his train over.

Alison: Yeah, I wonder what he was smoking on the other side! (laughter) It’s really colorful. It’s like a Beatles album cover, you know what I mean…

Kari: Yeah, I do know what you mean!

Alison: Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds…it’s, it’s amazing, it’s colorful, it’s beautiful, and he’s just showing me, ta da!!! (laughter)

Afterlife Communications

That was pretty funny! Yes, that does sound like an interesting trip over doesn’t it! I loved the description as it sounded like a lot of fun and takes some of the grief, sadness, and seriousness out of Robin’s passing.

The Eternal as Psychedelic

After I watched this interview, a little time passed and then I thought to do a google search on “psychedelic twin flame” just to see what came up. Hearing all this talk about Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds got me thinking! During my search, I discovered this book called, The Fragrance of the Mystical Rose: The Revelation of the Out-of-Body Travel Celestial Mysteries from the Enclosed Garden of God (March 12, 2016) by Marilynn Hughes.

She cited a book by Arthur Edward Waite. You may recognize his name as he is the co-creator of the Rider-Waite Tarot card deck that is very popular:

The book she is citing is called Hidden Church of the Holy  Graal:

I am referring to this excerpt from Marilynn Hughes’ book which you can find here. I have typed the excerpt for you below. The underline and bold are mine:

The Hidden Church of the Holy Graal, Arthur Edward Waite, 1909

As all that is eternal is ‘psychadelic’ in a certain fashion, the initiate will undergo a series of ritual passages into psychedelic energies. The initiate will meet his or her counterpart or twin flame in the mystical realms; his eyes will become psychedelic rather than one color. The winds will become psychedelic. The ether will whirl with an ethereal psychedelic cyclone of energies. Finally, even the aura will become psychedelic. Bright, colorful neon colors, beyond this world. Everything becomes psychedelic as the initiate enters into that which is eternal

And remember, even as the initiate continues entry into the eternal, the karmic thrusts continue on the ground…sometimes for many years.

Afterlife Communications

This is such an interesting writing. I have never come across any other author who spoke of the eternal in terms of being psychedelic. When I read what Mr. Waite said, I felt a clear connection with what Alison said Robin’s experience was at his passing: a psychedelic one. Both Alice in Wonderland and Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds are clear psychedelic references.

From my point of view, when Robin passed away, he was entering into that which is eternal. Alison’s report of Robin’s passing matches closely with what Mr. Waite is saying in terms of the psychedelic energies and colors beyond our physical plane. When Waite talks about entry into the eternal, I’m not sure if he was talking only about when we pass away, or if it was something temporarily achieved through an out-of-body experience. Still, I don’t think I am mistaken to connect the experience of Robin’s passing to something eternal, as that is a common expression related to passing away (i.e. eternal rest as a common euphemism for death).

As Robin entered the eternal, I wonder if he was being initiated into psychedelic energies. According to the interview, he experienced them at the very least, and seemed to enter into a mystical realm. Perhaps when we pass away, we all become initiates into psychedelic energies. I don’t know for certain, but I find this interesting to ponder given that this synchronicity came to me.

There are other accounts of the beautiful colors of the eternal world. In Life in the World Unseen, there is a description of gardens surrounding a temple in the higher planes:

Gardens alone surrounded it—a great sea of flowers, extending, it almost seemed, as far as the eye could see, and presenting such a galaxy of brilliant color, in great banks and masses, as the earth could never contemplate.

Borgia, Anthony. Life in the World Unseen (p. 67). Kindle Edition.

Afterlife CommunicationsI also think it is interesting that Mr. Waite was writing about twin flames in 1909. As many of you reading this already know, the belief in a twin flame or counterpart goes way back and is by no means a modern development only. For me, it was interesting that I received this information about the psychedelic nature of the eternal or afterlife when I was not looking for it directly. I was searching for information about twin flames and any psychedelic connection related to twin flames, but along with that, I got this information about the eternal that also connected with Robin’s afterlife experience.

Robin and I met as twin souls only after his entrance into the eternal. We met after he entered into a mystical realm beyond my current understanding. We have also met in the mystical realms through my dreams.

As far as karmic thrusts continuing on the ground (the physical world), that could refer to the reverberating impact that Robin’s physical incarnation had on the world of music. It could also refer to the love and ongoing connections with family, friends and fans on earth. The effect that Robin had on millions of people, since the time he was a child, was and is very powerful which is why in his case, I could see that karmic thrusts could continue.

When Robin’s soul left his body, he was not finished with the physical level of the earth plane. If he were, I would not have this blog as there would be nothing to write about. I am able to write this blog because Robin is still actively engaged with the physical plane of the Earth and he is giving me lots to share. I have the impression that he never went far from the earth. I’m not saying that his soul does not travel to other places, which I’m sure it does, beyond my understanding.

afterlife communicationsI am saying that he never completely left the earth plane. That I do know for sure. How do I know this enough to say it in writing?  Beginning in 2012, I was hit with the shockwave that is Robin Gibb and I never recovered! The evidence for that is in this website. That is how I know lol!

Thank you for going on this psychedelic journey with me. In my next post, I would like to write more about this notion of the initiate that Arthur Edward Waite wrote about. That post will be called The Initiate.

All my best to you,

Christina

Afterlife Communication: A Robin’s Nest

Afterlife Communication: A Robin’s Nest

I would like to begin this post by saying thanks to my readers who sent me get-well notes and kind wishes! I appreciate you and hope all is well with you too.

On August 18, 2018, I was thinking about some very deep matters. I was talking with Robin and I asked him whether he thought his mom Barbara would be willing to be my mom too. Robin’s mom passed away on August 12, 2016:

The reason for this is that I currently do not have a mother in the physical world. It is a relationship that I have really missed, especially during this time with breast cancer. Like millions of others, I grew up in a dysfunctional family rife with physical and emotional abuse.

As a result of that, I cut ties with my family of origin when I was 30 years old. I had had enough of it and to this day, I’m proud of myself for making that choice.

Still, I miss having a loving mother to turn to, especially at this time, as I heal from my partial mastectomy. So, I wrote a letter to Barbara Gibb, asking if she would be willing to be my mom. It would be nice to have her to talk with as her energy is warm, loving and comforting. I know this may seem strange or unusual, but I have felt a spiritual connection with her due to her shared birthday with one of my family members. This still serves as an important life parallel with Robin.

The sign I asked for if she agreed to be my mom is a Cameo brooch. It’s something that popped into my head and something I thought she would like. I don’t own one myself, but when thinking of a sign to ask her for, the Cameo came into my mind’s eye.

Do you remember these Cameo brooches? Here’s a link from Amazon with some pictures and interesting information about them:

Picture an antique cameo and the first image that probably pops into your mind is a woman’s profile carved out of white shell against a coral background. That certainly describes a cameo, but cameos come in a much wider range of materials and designs. In fine jewelry, the cameo is defined as an ornament carved in relief from a high-quality material such as stone, shell, coral, Gutta-percha, bog oak, ivory, lava, or mother-of-pearl. In costume jewelry, cameos are generally made from molded plastic or glass. The most common cameo motif is the portrait. In the past, these bore the likeness of an actual person, usually a celebrity of the day—a ruler, scholar, or philosopher.

A couple of days later on August 21st, I sat down to watch television. We have a streaming box with a You Tube channel. I scanned some of the recommended videos. If you are familiar with YouTube, you may have seen how it randomly selects videos for you based on your viewing history.

I saw a video from a channel called, Let Me Know. I had never seen it before, but the video interested me because of the picture I saw:

There was this vintage picture of a woman in her wedding dress. Here is the picture that I saw on my tv before playing the video:

afterlife communication

I was very drawn to this picture for some reason.

The vintage, antique-look of the photo made me think of the Cameo brooch I requested for a sign.

Also, some brides wear Cameo brooches as part of their wedding attire. So, I decided to watch this video to see if I might see the Cameo I requested as a sign.

I listened to the story of Jane Foster. She was in Grand Junction, CO on February 3, 2017 and saw this picture in an antique store window. She realized that it was a picture of her deceased mother on her wedding day in her wedding gown! She had glanced at the window of a store called A Robin’s Nest of Antiques and Treasures.

I was so surprised when I saw the name of this store! Here I am hoping to see the sign I asked Barbara for and I see Robin’s name unexpectedly. The name of the co-owner of this store is Robin, which you can hear at 1:54 into the video.

That was such a gift and I really felt his presence with me. I absolutely love it when I see Robin’s name. Seeing a deceased loved one’s name is considered symbolic after death communication:

Symbolic – Seeing a symbol that reminds you of the deceased; a license plate, hearing a song, seeing their name or an animal (most commonly butterflies) that reminds you of them.

This picture is from the video, showing the store awning:

I was very moved by what Jane Foster said in response to unexpectedly finding her mother’s picture. Here is what I transcribed from the video:

Narrator: “…She believes that the find was a sign of her mother’s love from beyond the grave.”

Jane Foster: “I believe she’s telling us she’s still here, watching over us. It’s hard to deny there’s a message here.”

That is exactly how I feel about this video. It’s hard for me to deny that there is a message here for me too. I get the strong feeling that Robin and Barbara are communicating with me through this video.  It’s the combination of Robin’s name and the mother theme showing up in one place while wondering if I might see a Cameo brooch.

Afterlife Communication

I asked if she would be willing to be my mom. I didn’t get the cameo brooch I asked for as a sign. However, I did get Robin’s name and the message of a mother in spirit to her daughter.  That is synchronistic.

This video showed up on my screen for a reason. I felt guided to watch it even though I was not familiar with the channel, and I feel like I got the answer to my question. Maybe Robin and Barbara were influencing my thoughts to get me to watch this video.

The other personal reasons I feel strongly connected to this video is that I lived in Colorado for 11 years and my maiden name is Foster.

I feel like it is ok if I see Robin’s mom as my mom too. She was and is beautiful, cute and sweet. I have watched as many interviews of her as is available. She seemed like the kind of mom I would love to have. Thank you Robin and Barbara!

This is a good example of how you can ask for a sign and get something better than what you asked for. I think seeing Robin’s name and the actual mother theme is a better sign than a Cameo brooch that I’m not connected with in any way. The Cameo would still be nice though and I am open to that if it still shows up in an unexpected way.

This openness is important in afterlife communication. Faye Schindelka states in A Course in After Death Communication (2012):

Remain open to receiving your requested sign and trust that your deceased loved one will work overtime to see that you receive it. While you have asked for a specific sign, keep in mind that it may manifest in a slightly different way than what you might have expected. This openness is important, because the moment we become attached to a particular way that something ‘should’ be, we often contract our energy and thus close ourselves off to the receiving of it.

The important thing is what you are feeling in your heart in the context of asking for and receiving signs. I rely heavily on my heart, intuition and gut feeling when it comes to afterlife communication. I share only stories that I feel that heart certainty with. Even if it’s not the exact sign I asked for, seeing Robin’s name is as clear as it gets for me, especially when it’s out of the blue like it was in this case.

I hope you enjoyed my story of motherly love from beyond the grave…and pretty robin’s nests!

Love,

Christina

Twin Soul Synchronicity: Gossamer

Twin Soul Synchronicity: Gossamer

On April 7, 2015, I read this beautiful article about twin souls. (I kept a journal with dates, that’s how I know :). This paragraph in particular resonated with me:

Your Beloveds may even be on the earth plane yet when two personalities come together there can be still some friction even though you know you are true Twin Flames at Soul. So one and the other have to be at the same level of evolvement to truly resonate thus otherwise causing havoc in your emotional bodies so in some ways it is much purer and finer if one is on earth and the other in Soul. For the one in Soul already knows who she or he is in all their Aspects, for all their Aspects make up the One.

And mirror each of the Beloveds aspects who remain on the earth, dimmed, from the memory but are awakening to remember. Thus the Beloved in Soul draws them forward to remembrance. So eventually you regain your sight, your bearings, and you regain your continued centredness and feel more and more complete as your Twin beckons you forward, and in His or Her earthly incarnation that remains in Soul, closer to the earth than the higher vibrations of Soul, He or She can almost walk the earth with Thee.

There is so much about this beautiful writing that I love. I love the part about the one in Soul mirroring the aspects of the twin on earth, dimmed from memory, but awakening to remember. I find this to be true in my case with Robin. We have been mirroring each other since 2012 and I have been slowly awakening to remember Robin and who I am as a spiritual being since his passing.

After I read the part about “purer and finer,” I said to Robin that his vibration has come across as being very pure, fine, loving, gentle, yet still humorous. It was at this time that I said to him his vibration was like fine, spider web gossamer. I saw in my mind’s eye fine threads of gossamer with light shining through it. That was the metaphor that came to me in that moment.

A couple of days after this on April 9th, I was looking for something to read to Robin. On our bookshelf, filled with lots of books, magazines, CD’s and DVD’s, I found this CD called A Gift of Love Vol. 2 – Oceans Of Ecstasy: Deepak Chopra and Friends Present a Musical Valentine to Tagore. The CD consists of new translations of Rabindranath Tagore’s poems by Deepak Chopra. It came with a beautiful booklet which has all the text of the poems so you can read along. The poems on the CD are read by various celebrities. It is quite a lovely tribute to Tagore:

Rabindranath Tagore (7 May 1861 – 7 August 1941), also known as Rabi Thakur, was a Bengali philosopher, poet, and winner of the Nobel Prize for literature in 1913.

This was a CD my husband bought and I was not familiar with it, so I decided to give it a try. First, I read the introduction to gain some knowledge about the CD. Then, I turned to look at the back cover and flipped through a couple of pages at the end of the booklet. It was then, that by browsing through the pages, I came across the synchronicity with my mention of spider web gossamer to Robin a couple of days before. I read the poem Be—A Valentine to Tagore, out loud to Robin. Here is the exact text:

Afterlife Communication

Spells, charms, incantations

There is nothing to say.

The magic of music enfolds intention

Centuries of knowledge

Layers of experience, an entire history

In a few melodies.

Our lifetime is packaged inside us

As imprints triggered by lyric,

Wrapped in words the way a

Spider wraps flies in gossamer.

We are both the spider and the fly

Imprisoned and free in our own web.

I was so shocked and amazed when I came upon those words while reading. I felt in such powerful alignment with Robin. What I had shared with him about how I sensed his energy vibration was now showing up in the poem I was reading to him. This synchronistic mirror reflection gave me the feeling that he heard me and was giving back to me what I said to him. I had been guided specifically to the Tagore CD this day. I felt that the references made to music and lyric was also something he was enjoying. The poem causes me to feel quite introspective about my lifetime and what has transpired. Some of the best poems encourage self-reflection.

Sometimes, I think our past lifetimes or previous spiritual connections are packaged inside us as imprints triggered by lyric. This is true if you believe in reincarnation, which I do. This is what happened to me after hearing Robin’s singing again after many years. Imprints of my previous spiritual connection with him were triggered by his voice (see Background section) and I’ve been on this journey with Robin ever since.

How Deep is Your Love

Since there is a connection between music and gossamer in this poem, I decided do to a Google search to see if there is any connection between gossamer and the Bee Gees. I typed into Google, Bee Gees gossamer. I found a beautiful association with gossamer and How Deep Is Your Love at https://www.telegraph.co.uk/music/artists/barry-gibb-bee-gees-20-best-songs/deep-love-bee-gees/:

Bee Gees—How Deep Is Your  Love (1977) In rock history, ’77 was the year of punk. If so, nobody told the Gibb brothers. Everything the Bee Gees touched was turning to pure gold. Another ballad of bottomless luxury and romance, a smoochy slow dance coasting along on gossamer light harmonies and Barry’s breathy, seductive lead vocal.

For me, the song’s opening harmonies have a particularly beautiful gossamer light quality. It’s even more amazing that three men, three brothers, could actually create this beautiful sound together. Have you seen this alternate version of the video? Here it is below:

Nights on Broadway

I would like to make some additional comments about this poem, “Be.” When I read this:

The magic of music enfolds intention…

Layers of experience, an entire history

In a few melodies.

I think about the chorus for Nights on Broadway (lyrics from Google):

I will wait

Even if it takes forever

I will wait

Even if it takes a lifetime

Somehow I feel inside

You never ever left my side

Make it like it was before

Even if it takes a lifetime, takes a lifetime, ooh

With this chorus, you can sense the intention, the deep feelings and longing for a lost love. You hear the determination to wait, to reunite, to be together again like it used to be, even if it takes a lifetime. The chorus is only a few lines, but just underneath the surface is a long story not told, an entire history in what really is a few melodies. It makes me wonder what happened to the people involved.

Sometimes it really does take a lifetime. It took all of Robin’s lifetime and a great portion of mine for us to finally reconnect. It is a very common theme for twin souls.

Rings Around the Moon

One last Bee Gees song I would like to mention, while continuing the gossamer theme, is Rings Around the Moon. What comes to mind are the light, airy, gossamer rings around the full moon; flying rings of soft, gossamer white light around this heavenly cosmic moon. I feel the deep joy and freedom in that.

Afterlife Communication

This song is in my top 5 of favorite Bee Gees songs. With Robin singing the lead, it is hauntingly beautiful and gorgeous, mystical and deeply meaningful. I get the chills when I listen to it and often tear up. I think it is a musical masterpiece due to the lyrics, the composition and Robin’s voice. He is not just singing. He’s channeling a high frequency spiritual angelic energy. The inner beauty of his spirit flows through his voice. The song is healing and soothing to the soul while also deeply thought provoking and moving. I hope you enjoy it’s ethereal, gossamer-light quality. I consider it a spiritual gift that Robin left for us:
