Deep Listening and Music: Synchronicity with Gibb Brothers in Spirit

Deep Listening and Music: Synchronicity with Gibb Brothers in Spirit

In this post, “Deep Listening and Music: Synchronicity with Gibb Brothers in Spirit,” I describe a series of mysterious interconnected synchronicities that occurred as the result of reading to Robin’s spirit and practicing deep listening. Deep listening led to a clairaudient experience with music, and synchronicity followed.

In my previous post, “Afterlife Communication: The Joy of Reading to the Deceased,” I shared how reading to Robin led to meaningful synchronicity and revelations about his name. This time, when I recently read to Robin, what came back to me was not about Robin directly. It was about his brothers in spirit with him: Maurice and Andy. It feels like they wanted their names included too!

Introduction: Embracing Storytelling

Afterlife communication with Robin takes me on a journey of learning and discovery that I enjoy sharing through writing. One thing I have learned about myself is that I love to share stories. I never knew that I had a storyteller within me before Robin died. But I feel it is a part of my evolution to become a storyteller. You never know who benefits from what you share, and this belief keeps me motivated to continue writing.

Personal evolution is one of the main purposes for a spiritual connection in my opinion. It is good practice to ask oneself, “What am I learning and how am I growing and evolving as a result of my spiritual connection?” I have learned a lot about the importance of embracing storytelling on my journey with Robin.

In the book, Soul Communication: Opening Your Spiritual Channels for Success and Fulfillment, by Dr. Zhi Gang Sha, the spiritual value of sharing our stories is discussed. This applies to those of us who share our stories, whether privately, publicly, or both:

Stories are powerful teachers. They carry a message. They also carry the particular gifts, abilities, and wisdom of the soul sharing the story. It is not enough to have one or two people share their stories. Hundreds, thousands, even more must share their stories. This is important because no two people connect in exactly the same way with any one story. The more stories there are, the more people will feel that they are included, important, and valued… (pg. 14)

When I talk about sharing your story, I am speaking specifically of sharing about your soul journey. Sharing other aspects of your story can also be helpful and healing. However, it is the story of your soul journey that is truly significant. It is this story that is transforming… (pg. 14)

I have personally been healed and supported by those sharing their soul stories, especially stories about spiritually transformative experiences. Other people sharing their stories gave me the courage to share mine on this website. By sharing my soul journey, I hope I can give others the same support that I have found through dozens of authors over the years.

Sometimes I feel like my blog posts are like sending out a message in a bottle into the big sea of the world wide web. Most people won’t notice it, and many will walk by it, not seeing any value in it. But occasionally, someone will pick up the bottle and read the message inside. And hopefully, that message will be something that supports them in their journey through life. That’s the value of sharing stories.

Are you ready to open the message in the bottle? If yes, then let’s begin. I will now share with you this next chapter of my soul journey with Robin and his brothers.

Sorry Business and Deep Listening: Learning About Australian Aboriginal Practices

On March 20, 2024, I felt drawn to research how indigenous people communicate with their deceased loved ones. Since I like to read to Robin, I was wondering whether there was any tradition of doing this or something similar within different indigenous families.

I googled “indigenous people after death communication,” and came across an article by Jens Korff called “Sorry Business: Mourning an Aboriginal Death.” It is on a wonderful website about Australian Aboriginal culture called Creative Spirits. Jens Korff is the owner and author of Creative Spirits and shares what he has learned about Aboriginal culture in Australia. It is an inspiring example of giving due respect, support, and honor to Aboriginal people through healing enterprises and educational opportunities.

Through this article, I learned that “sorry business” is what the Australian Aboriginal people call their time of mourning, including ceremonies, after a loved one has died. Ceremonies and mourning can last from days to months depending on different factors. This allows the grief to heal slowly. I admire this practice and feel that this is an important lesson.

I also learned that it was an old tradition amongst Australian Aboriginal people to not say the names of the dead because it was thought to disturb their spirit. In more recent years, it has become more acceptable for Aboriginal families and communities to allow the names of the deceased to be spoken. Still, I concluded from this that they would most likely not be reading to a deceased loved one as I do.

As I read the article, I noticed a link to another article for the practice of deep listening. The article is called, “Deep Listening (Dadirri),” by Jens Korff. Deep listening is something I am drawn to because I love meditation and stillness practices and wondered whether there was any connection with this. I learned that there is.

According to the article, the wise Australian Aboriginal people of the Daly River region in the Northern Territory call deep listening, “dadirri.” According to Aboriginal writer and senior elder Miriam-Rose Ungunmerr-Baumann:

“Dadirri is inner, deep listening and quiet, still awareness. Dadirri recognises the deep spring that is inside us. We call on it and it calls to us. This is the gift that Australia is thirsting for. It is something like what you call ‘contemplation’. (2)

“Our Aboriginal culture has taught us to be still and to wait. We do not try to hurry things up. We let them follow their natural course – like the seasons.” (2)

We could all use more dadirri in our lives. You are welcome to click here to view the most beautiful, official Dr. Miriam-Rose Ungunmerr-Baumann video where dadirri is described in the most soul-soothing way.

In the article, the importance of deep listening was also described in terms of storytelling. Stories important to the Aboriginal culture were passed on orally, not through writing. Therefore, it was very important for Aboriginal people to be very skilled at deep listening, so that the story could be passed on correctly to the next generation. This is a very impressive skill.

As I continued to read the article, I was very moved by the following quote. I thought about its application to afterlife communication. The bold is mine:

Jennifer Thompson, founder of the Jenwakka Indigenous Counselling Service, describes deep listening as “tapping into her ancestors, constantly listening to spirits.” “[Dadirri is] what non-Aboriginal people would call contemplation. It’s the way we sit and take time and go in deep… The Dadirri is a way to take advantage of this [healing] knowledge. It requires people to stop, look, listen and learn.” (3)

After I read this wonderful information, I felt very inspired by the concept of dadirri. It felt familiar to me as I have engaged in similar practices on a personal level and professional level as a yoga teacher. While I was absorbing this new information, I was thinking about Robin and how he would like this. He was someone who loved to meditate. I also thought he would appreciate this information that came from one of his home countries close to his heart: Australia.

Reading to Robin: Deep Listening and the Presence of his Brothers in Spirit

Approximately 4 days after reading the article, during the early morning hours of March 24, 2024, I sat at Robin’s altar and quietly connected with his spirit through prayer. I lit a candle for him and stated his name. This helps to connect with his energy. I shared with him that I wanted to read to him this amazing article on deep listening and dadirri that I thought he’d enjoy.

I read the entire article to his spirit while looking at his picture and thinking about his connection to Australia.

After I was done reading, I said that I would like to practice some deep listening with him. I felt surrounded by the energy of dadirri. So, I put the phone down that I was reading from. I sat in my chair beside his altar and became still and quiet.

Within less than a minute, a song started playing in my mind. The words were, “I want to thank you for being a friend.” I said to myself, “Hmm, that’s interesting.” I’ve heard this song before and it sounded familiar, but I did not know who sang it or remember where I knew it from.

This song continued to play in my head, so I decided to research it. It seemed like clairaudience was at work. I picked up my phone and googled the words I heard, “I want to thank you for being a friend.”

A video and a lot of information for this song came up. It was sung by Andrew Gold. I did not know he sang this song and had never heard of him. I had a feeling that Robin knew who he was. Right away, I thought of Robin’s late brother Andy Gibb and how he and Andrew Gold shared the same initials: A.G. I made a mental note of that and continued to see what breadcrumbs I could follow.

I read that Andrew Gold passed away on June 3, 2011, in Los Angeles, CA. The song was released in 1978. 1978 was a huge year for the Bee Gees and Andy Gibb in terms of the success of their hit songs.

I continued to scroll through the selections about the song on Google. Then, I came to a Billboard article that looked interesting. It is usually a good source of information about the music industry, so I clicked on it.

In the article called, “‘Andrew Gold’s ‘Thank You for Being a Friend’ Is the Best Song Ever About Giving Thanks,” by Andrew Unterberger, I noticed that this song was the theme song for the television show, “The Golden Girls.” I thought, “Oh, that’s where I know this song from.”

I also noticed that another song sung by Andrew Gold was mentioned called, “Lonely Boy.” I remembered this song from the 70’s when I was a child.

I remembered that I really liked it. The first video in the article was for this song, so I clicked on it to listen. I realized that I had not heard this song in probably over 40 years.

Loneliness is such a common theme in music. In this post, I wrote about the epidemic of loneliness and how the theme of loneliness is quite common in many Bee Gees’ songs:

How Afterlife Communication Helps Reduce Loneliness

When I started listening to “Lonely Boy,” I remembered it right away, even after all these years. What a blast from the past! Then, as the video played, about a minute into the song, I noticed a caption that really got my attention. It said:

“Andrew Maurice Gold was born in 1951 in California…”

Here is a screenshot:

Andrew Maurice Gold Image

I paused the video so I could talk with Robin. Seeing the names of Robin’s brothers side-by-side like this strongly stood out to me. I said something along the lines of, “Are you being serious right now? This guy’s name was Andrew Maurice?” Then I read the rest of the caption which mentioned Andrew Gold’s father Ernest. Then I said, “You’ve got to be kidding me!” Robin’s’ twin brother, Maurice Gibb, had the middle name Ernest!

Here is a screenshot:

Maurice Ernest Gibb IMAGE

At this point, I felt that a clear message was coming through. This is what reading and deep listening with Robin brought to me: a connection with Andy and Maurice and the strong presence of their energy. Can you see the power of these practices? It felt like they were crashing my meditation time with Robin! 😊It was truly amazing and a blessing. Of course, they are more than welcome.

There is no way I could not notice this. I said “hello” to them in Spirit, feeling joy in my heart. I feel like they wanted their names mentioned because my previous blog post was all about “Robben and Robin”, a little Andy and no mention of Maurice. So, it’s like they were saying, “Hey Christina, it’s our turn now!!”

I had a feeling that by reading to Robin about the after-death practices of the Australian Aboriginal people, I also connected with Maurice and Andy’s energy. All three had a close connection with Australia and I could see why the articles I read would be important to or of interest to them in spirit.

I felt the presence of these three brothers very strongly. Now I ask you to consider this: How are your deceased loved ones showing up for you?  Are their names presenting themselves in unexpected ways? Once you are on the path of afterlife communication and open to the ways spirit presents itself, this type of thing can happen.

It was so wonderful to be guided to Andy and Maurice’s names through the song. Still, there is even more to share in terms of powerful synchronicity. This is about Andy, and it brought a strong sense of mystery.

Reincarnation Video Synchronicity: Andy Gibb’s Deep Connection to California

On April 11, 2024, I was looking at Andrew Gold’s YouTube caption again on the “Lonely Boy” video and how he was born in California. Then I had the thought that Andy Gibb was laid to rest in California. I decided to do some research on his resting place to refresh my memory.

I googled, “Andy Gibb buried in California.” I started looking at the different articles and a video that came up. Here is the video about Andy from The Graveyard Channel. The purpose of this channel is to pay tribute to famous people in terms of how they died and where they are laid to rest.

In the description of the video is a link for Forest Lawn Memorial Park– Hollywood Hills, CA which is where Andy is buried.

In case you are interested, here is a link from a Facebook page that explains why Andy was laid to rest in California.

I clicked on the link for the Forest Lawn website, searched for Andy in the search box, and found his entry. I looked at the map on the page. I noticed the Hollywood Sign and other Hollywood-related places mentioned.

Here is a screenshot:

Andrew Roy Gibb Forest Lawn Page

I was doing this research between 8:20pm and 8:30pm.

At approximately 9pm, my husband asked if he could show me a video on reincarnation. It was about a woman named Dorothy Eady who has an interesting story about a past life as an Egyptian princess. She reported having childhood memories of that lifetime. That day, he had listened to a podcast about her. Here is the video.

Now here is where it gets mysterious.

At about 5:05 minutes into the video, the narrator discusses the case of 4-year-old Ryan Hammons. He reported having past-life memories of being a man who lived in Hollywood named Marty Martyn who knew Rita Hayworth. At 5:34 into the video, the narrator spoke about how when Ryan saw the Hollywood Sign on television, he would state that that was his home and he wanted to return.

Here is a screenshot:

Hollywood Sign the Why Files

This was around 9:15pm. So, approximately 45 minutes after I saw the map with the Hollywood sign on Andy’s Forest Lawn entry, I saw this mention of the Hollywood sign in this reincarnation video. The video also had a few other references to Hollywood and the life of Marty Martyn, so the message really stood out in a powerful way.

I felt like I had really touched on something with Andy.

I wondered, “Andy, what are you trying to tell me?” I have not had that much synchronicity with Andy over the years, so this was a big moment and truly meaningful connection.

Reincarnation Video Synchronicity: Significance and Interpretation

I felt that by doing research on his resting place and looking at several different websites and videos, I strongly tuned into Andy’s energy. Then God decided to include my husband who is an amazing messenger and partner when it comes to synchronicity. He had no knowledge that I was researching Andy’s resting place. If he had not shown me the video, there would be no synchronicity, so I am very grateful for him.

This soul communication felt so much like being in the energy field of Indra’s Net, an unseen interconnected web between Andy in spirit and my husband and I in the physical world. Synchronicity is a mysterious force that links the living and the dead because we remain interconnected whether in our physical or non-physical state. Through afterlife communications such as this, I am continuously being taught about our oneness and interconnectedness, whether we knew each other or not and whether we are famous or non-famous.

I also feel like the YouTube video about Ryan Hammons was emphasizing the importance of the Hollywood area for Andy. It is noteworthy that Andy also lived in Los Angeles, California where Hollywood is. He moved there in 1980, escaping the influence of his family in Miami who were trying to intervene because of his cocaine abuse (4).

This synchronicity with Andy is particularly impactful because this is the second time that a reincarnation video synchronicity happened with a Gibb brother. I had a reincarnation video synchronicity with Robin in 2012 which I wrote about here:

Twin Soul Synchronicity

In this post, I wrote about how a photo of Robin that included the name of the photographer matched exactly with the name of a doctor in a video I watched about reincarnation. I had seen the photo and watched the video within minutes of each other, similar to this current synchronicity with Andy.

Through these reincarnation YouTube video synchronicities, I intuit that both Robin and Andy are pointing to the importance and reality of reincarnation. The message is to take reincarnation seriously, to study it, and consider how past lives are affecting this current life.

Through synchronicity, I have confirmation that I have shared past lives with Robin. And even though I don’t know exactly what they were or when, I feel that what I write about here on Paisley and Poppies is a direct reflection of those past lives we shared. The love and devotion I once had for Robin, when we were both other people, is still here and shows up on these pages.

In closing, I am grateful to be able to share the string of synchronicities that occurred as a result of spending time with Robin in deep listening. This was quite a soul journey of learning.

By reading this, you opened my “message in a bottle,” and I hope you found something enriching for your journey.

Until next time, take care!

Afterlife Communication: The Joy of Reading to the Deceased

Afterlife Communication: The Joy of Reading to the Deceased

In this post, “Afterlife Communication: The Joy of Reading to the Deceased,” I share a story about how reading to Robin led to a heart-touching synchronicity. The synchronicity that occurred delivered layers of meaningful learning and insights that deepened our connection. It’s all in the name! I invite you to come with me to find out more. Along the way, if you’d like to see a few lovely photos of Robin, just click on his name in bold.

Introduction: Connecting with the Deceased Through Reading

Part of the process of afterlife communication is learning how to connect with deceased loved ones in a way that’s comfortable. At first, it may feel awkward, weird or a little scary especially when new to this type of communication. It can be even more challenging when you did not know the person, such as is my case with Robin.

Over time, people find ways of being true to themselves while communicating with their loved ones and honoring what they would like. One person may like to leave a plate for the deceased at their table. Another person might ride a roller coaster in their memory. Yet another person may plant fragrant blossoms with the intention of sending the scent to their loved one.

One thing I have always loved to do for Robin is to read to him. Even in 2012, a few months after his death, I read spiritual poems and books to his spirit while sitting at the small altar space I created for him. It was a nice way to bond and establish a new connection.

Afterlife Communications: A Soft White Dove

I have loved reading about a wide variety of topics ever since my childhood. I found out that Robin liked to read as well so I felt like that was a good match. I could read to him because we would both like it and it’s something that is a part of my normal routine.

I understand that not everyone would be comfortable doing this. There is still a stigma about talking out loud to the dead. I read out loud to Robin in the privacy of my own home while sitting at his altar space.

I also talk with his spirit when I’m out alone in nature and want to share the sunset with him or comment on a beautiful constellation. I trust that he is aware of my conversations with him. It makes me happy to include him in my life in this way. I never got to do anything with him, so this is my way of making up for that.

Reading to the deceased is a wonderful way to build and maintain a long-term afterlife relationship. It’s been almost 12 years since Robin died and I want to do things to show him I continuously remember and care for his spirit.

So, here is my story about what happened when I read to him recently.

Starburst of synchronicity

George Harrison Video and a Unique Name

On November 21, 2023, late in the evening, I watched an episode of Our History on YouTube about George Harrison of the Beatles. He died on November 29, 2001, after complications due to lung cancer.

In this episode, a forensic pathologist examines George’s medical history and lifestyle to see what could have contributed to him dying at the young age of 58.

During the episode, there was a discussion about how George had decided to do a 45-day tour of America which began in November 1974. At 16:29 minutes into the video, a poster of the concert event was shown with a photo of George. Here is a screen shot:

George Harrison

I very quickly noticed the name Robben Ford.

I am a fan of George Harrison and even keep a picture of him on my altar space because I consider him to be a powerful spiritual teacher. I have read his biography during which time I had a dream about him, and I have also experienced synchronicity connected with him. He lived in the county of Oxfordshire, England, just as Robin did.

But I was not familiar with the members of his band once the Beatles broke up. I had never seen the name spelled this way, as in “Robben.” This caught my attention, and I paused the video for a moment. Of course, I thought of Robin Gibb and mentally said to him, “I’ve never seen your name spelled this way.” It felt interesting to me, but I have seen his name spelled in other ways such as “Robyn.”

So, I moved on with the video, still enjoying the fact that I had seen what to me was a unique spelling of the name. I understand that to other people the spelling of this name may not be unique. But for me, it was. The vast majority of the time, I see “Robin” or “Robyn” in terms of spelling.

Afterlife Communication book explosion

Reading to Robin: A Mirroring of Names

During the next evening, November 22, 2023, I felt guided to read to Robin. I had recently purchased a book by John O’ Donohue called Beauty: The Invisible Embrace.

I had not gotten deep into the book yet. I decided to browse through some of the chapters and thought it would be nice to skip ahead and read to Robin from Chapter 4, “The Colour of Beauty.” I turned a few pages and started to read the section called, “White: Womb of Colour.”

I read the first paragraph about his insights on snow and the color white. I thought about how Robin’s daughter is named Snow.

Then, as I began to read the second paragraph, I paused for a moment because I noticed something unexpected: a mirroring of names. Here, the name “Robben” appeared again. This time it was in the context of Robben Island, the place where Nelson Mandela had been imprisoned for 28 years:

Several years ago in Cape Town, a friend and I had the opportunity of visiting Robben Island, the prison where Nelson Mandela and his friends were incarcerated for twenty-eight years… (1)

I looked at Robin’s picture, feeling that sense of surprise that synchronicity brings. Once again, I felt that my choices were not all my own and that a higher guiding principle was at work leading to this mirroring. I said to Robin, “That’s the second day in a row with “Robben” spelled this way…about 24-hours apart. I never see it spelled like this.”

Also noteworthy is that this was the same day that our neighbors from South Africa stopped to chat as they were walking by that morning. I just happened to be outside tending to my plants at the exact time they walked by.

Since I continue to study George Harrison’s life and love the spirituality he shared and taught, such as in this brilliant video, I wrote him a note in my journal. Here it is:

George Harrison, thank you, I feel like you are involved in this…I read this to Robin for the first time. “Robben” with your documentary and then Robben Island in John O’ Donohue’s book I was reading to Robin. Thank you so much!

This was a blessing of synchronicity, which included a great video and a wonderful book. But I was left wondering, “What does this mean?” I felt like I was being given a reminder of Robin while I was reading to him. What was his Spirit pointing to? One thing came to mind which I will now share.

The Bee Gees’ Connection with Nelson Mandela

It occurred to me to check and see what connection the Bee Gees had with Nelson Mandela because I vaguely remembered it being mentioned in an interview I watched years ago. I found out that they performed in the Nelson Mandela 70th Birthday Tribute Concert at Wembley Stadium. They sang, ‘You Win Again’ and ‘I’ve Gotta Get a Message to You’.

Here is a screenshot of Robin performing:

Robin Gibb Mandela Image

When I looked at the date of the concert, June 11, 1988, I realized that this was 3 months after their brother Andy died. The Bee Gees would have still been grieving his death. Perhaps participating in this tribute to such a great, iconic man helped with that.

I am writing these words on March 10, 2024, Andy’s passing date anniversary. Andy Gibb would have been 66 years old if he were alive today. I share this video of “I Just Want to be Your Everything” in honor of him. I would definitely check this out in case you’ve never seen this. The comments about Andy are really nice, too. He was such a beautiful soul.

Like everyone else, I knew that Nelson Mandela had been imprisoned. But I did not know that the name of the place he was imprisoned was called Robben Island. It’s just one of those details I missed over the years. Once again, I was being taught at the Dr. Robin Gibb Soul School of Afterlife Studies! That’s what I’ve called it all these years. I would imagine that he’s got a few openings too if you’re interested. 😊 Anyway, that’s what soul connections are all about: learning, growing, and evolving.

In an article called, “A Brief History of Robben Island, by Camille Oswald, I discovered that the word “Robben” is a Dutch word for seals:

Robben Island is an island located approximately 5 miles off of mainland South Africa. The island itself is small, with an approximate area of 5 square miles. The name, “Robben Island”, comes from the Dutch word for “seals” (“zeehonden”), as seals were once common in the surrounding waters.

I thought this was very interesting. It also got me curious about what other meanings the name “Robben” could have. This is what I’m going to explore now.

Afterlife Communication shines like the sun

The Meaning and Message in Names

I conducted a Google search on the name “Robben.”  According to the Baby Names Content Team on the website, The Bump, this name is of German origin and means “bright fame”:

Robben as a boy’s name is related to the Old German name Robert and English name Robin. The meaning of Robben is “bright fame.”

Beautiful! “Bright fame” sounds just like Robin Gibb. So, after I learned about this, I decided to research what “Robin” means. During all these years of communicating with him, I never actually researched what his name meant because I always associated it with the spring songbird. That description fits him perfectly, and I never thought to look for any other meaning. It seems like another reason for the synchronicity was to get me to look deeper into his name.

According to Jamie Allen, Operations Manager for The Bump, the nameRobin” is of German origin and means bright, shining, and famous:

Many thoughts may go racing through your head when you think of the name Robin. Whether it’s from the old Batman and Robin series you loved as a child or Robin Hood and his band of merry men in Sherwood Forest, this gender-neutral name is always a great choice! Meaning “bright,” “shining,” and “famous,” this name is for the dazzling little star of your life. Aside from legendary characters, possibly one of the most famous people to bear this name is renowned comedian and actor, Robin Williams.

I had no idea that Robin’s name had this meaning. His parents really picked up on his energy! This was all amazing to learn and connects to something else very meaningful in my connection with Robin.

By 2015, I had had about three years of communicating with Robin and becoming familiar with his energy. The reality was that I was spending a lot of time with him spiritually because of dream visits, telekinesis, and synchronicity.

I was also regularly watching his videos, reading biographies about the Bee Gees, and listening to his music. As a result, a loving, spiritual closeness developed, and I began to perceive his energy in a deeper way. It felt like he shone like the sun. It wasn’t something I saw. It was more like something I felt about him.

One day around this time, I looked at his picture and said, “I’m going to call you, ‘He Who Shines Like the Sun.’ I shared with Robin that I wanted to give him a spiritual name, partly because I imagined that he could have a different name in spirit already anyway. Still, I wanted to give him a spiritual nickname that reflected his energy that I was feeling.

I did a Google search for male names that had this meaning. I came across the name “Elenio,” which was the only boy’s name I could find at that time that had this exact meaning. I provide this definition now from Baby Names Pedia:

The origin of Elenio is the Old Greek language. The meaning of the name is he who shines like the sun.

While writing this post, I did a little more current research on the name “Elenio” and discovered this information on Name Doctor. The underlining is mine:

This name derives from the Ancient Greek: “Helenē (‘Ελενη) / Helénē (Ἑλένη),” meaning “torch, flambeau, brilliant, shining light, the bright one.” The name could be related to “Hḗlios (Ἥλιος),” the personification of the Sun in Greek mythology.

I have called Robin, “Elenio,” for about 10 years. I had no idea that I chose a spiritual nickname for him that matched his given birth name! It is so powerful to discover this all these years later!

This synchronicity has given me the feeling of bliss that is a small fraction of the bliss that awaits us all in the higher vibrations of the spirit world. The origin of this bliss is the Oneness and interconnectedness that is always present. This quote from Michael Mirdad, in the article, “Signs and Synchronicities,” articulates this perfectly:

The forms synchronicity can take are literally infinite, but regardless of form, synchronicity occurs due to one of the most vital laws in the universe: We are all ONE and are connected in ways known and unknown, seen and unseen. Therefore, it should come as no surprise then that as you get more tuned into the ONENESS of all things, all things begin to move into undeniable alignment, and you will then experience more and more meaningful, synchronistic events.

This is the joy of reading to the deceased; the joy that reading to Robin brought to me. Reading just a few sentences for him opened the door to this amazing journey of discovery. It’s what I wish for you as well in your communications with your deceased loved ones.

Thank you so much for reading! Until next time! 😊

Meaningful Music and Afterlife Communication: A Two-Way Street

Meaningful Music and Afterlife Communication: A Two-Way Street

In this post, “Meaningful Music and Afterlife Communication: A Two-Way Street, I share a story about how I recently played music for Robin as a way of connecting with him. A few days later, I unexpectedly heard the same meaningful song in a café.

This song was released in 1969 and is one I have never heard playing in a public space. I consider it a rare occurrence to hear this song. It is by an artist that Robin took an interest in, so the song served as a reminder of him. Read on to find out who it is!

Afterlife Communication: A Two-Way Street

When a loved dies, it has become increasingly common for loved ones on earth to ask for signs from the deceased. It is wonderful that more people are doing this, and I hope the trend continues.

While it is important to ask for signs from deceased loved ones, it is just as important to send them signs as well. Signs can be sent in a variety of ways, depending on what our loved one would like. Some ideas are to send prayers, chanted mantras, flowers, candlelight, incense, food and drink offerings and music. You can also read something to them that they liked or watch a favorite movie of theirs in remembrance of them. The list of ideas is endless.

Sometimes people say that they never notice synchronicity or signs from their loved one in spirit. When that is the case, my suggestion is to send them a sign, rather than only wait for one from them. Sending your loved one a sign can be a catalyst for a new relationship across the veil. It can get the ball rolling. What you get back in terms of a response can be quite remarkable too.

The commitment to send signs forms a two-way street of communication which can lead to the most profound connection and love shared across the veil.

In my everyday life, I have come to dislike one-sided connections. If I feel a connection with a person is one-sided, where I am making the majority of the effort to connect, then those connections fade over time. So, when it comes to afterlife communication, I personally believe in sending signs as well as asking for them and being open to receiving them. That way, Robin and my other loved ones in spirit know that I do not expect them to send all the messages, and that I consider it a two-way street.

They can expect messages from me as well.

Music and Afterlife Communication

Connecting with Robin through Music

During the late evening hours of February 8, 2024, I felt guided to spend time with Robin’s spirit. Have you had one of those nice times in the evening after everyone else had gone to bed? It was like that. The house was quiet, and the world outside finally came to stillness.

While sitting in my office, I decided to put Robin’s photo on my desk right next to my computer. Usually, I keep his photo on an altar table that is beside my work desk. This was the first time since I moved to Portugal that I put his picture right on my desk. Since I wanted to send him songs in order to communicate, it felt better to have his picture there right next to the screen where I was playing the videos. So, I was very intentional in doing this. This is part of communication being a two-way street.

I played some of my favorite songs for him and sent them to his spirit. One was Roberta Flack’s, “Killing Me Softly,” because I have always felt the lyrics apply to Robin perfectly. I also shared a video about the story behind the song which includes Lori Lieberman, who sang and co-wrote the original version. Both videos are very good, so if you have moment to watch these incredible artists, the links are there with the highlighted text.

Then, I decided to share Dusty Springfield’s “Son of a Preacher Man” with Robin. I liked it so much; I played it twice for him. For years, I have connected with Robin through this song.

When I was first learning about him after he passed away, I discovered in this video that he read Dusty Springfield’s biography. He mentions her at 5:53 into the video. He was talking about how she and other singers liked to use sewage pipes and bathrooms to create an echo sound of their voice when practicing their vocals. The Bee Gees did the same thing.

In this blog post, I share a synchronicity related to the Bee Gees’ choice of a favorite bathroom to sing in during their early years:

How Afterlife Communication Helps Reduce Loneliness

I did not know anything about Dusty Springfield at that time after Robin’s death. I researched her on YouTube and found the video of “Son of a Preacher Man” I linked to above. I fell in love with it and with the song. I have connected with Robin with this song ever since. So, Robin taught me about Dusty Springfield. I even watched a documentary to learn more about her.

After I played these songs, I felt complete with Robin for the evening. It felt like I connected strongly with his spirit, so I said goodnight after this.

Cafe Music and Afterlife Communication

A Café and “Son of a Preacher Man”

On Saturday, February 10th, I had plans to go shopping with my husband. There are great malls and cafés in the Porto area, and we are really enjoying them.

Before we left home, I said my morning prayers. I asked for signs, symbols, messages and communications from Robin, the Universe, my angels and teachers in spirit and other loved ones. I like to offer an invitation to Spirit because it lets them know I’m tuned into them and sets the stage to be alert for magical happenings during the day.

On the way to the mall, we stopped in a beautiful café. Amid the chatter of dining customers, and my husband and new friend ordering their treats, I suddenly noticed that “Son of a Preacher Man” was playing in the background!

For a moment, I had that familiar feeling of time stopping as I tuned out the surrounding sounds and tuned only into the song. To be honest, I felt a little stunned. Nobody else knew what I was experiencing. Even though it was noisy and crowded, I felt the private synchronistic connection with Robin’s spirit.

The timing was incredible. If we had arrived at the café a few minutes earlier or a few minutes later, I would have missed it. I knew it was Robin’s spirit reminding me of him and the moment from a couple of nights earlier when I sent him this song. It had only been a little over 36 hours since I played it for his spirit. The Universe’s use of the two-way street was impeccable. I felt my steps had been closely guided. The song and the moment were incredibly meaningful because of the song’s history in terms of my connection with Robin.

For almost 12 years, I have experienced these types of occurrences in terms of afterlife communication with Robin. So, why was I stunned? You would think I would be used to this by now. In some ways, it makes sense because synchronicity is unexpected, mysterious, and catches us off guard. However, there is another aspect of being stunned that I want to touch on briefly.

Perhaps, I still don’t get it that I’m a part of the Oneness.

In an article called, “The Cathedral of Eternity: Chaos, Synchronicity, and the Technology of Magic,” Tony Vigorito reaches this exact conclusion after a series of fascinating synchronistic experiences he had:

“…the prickling astonishment that follows the experience of synchronicity—the sensation that something magical has just occurred—this is but an artifact of our limited technology of mind. Synchronicity is only astounding, in other words, when we persist in the delusion that we are distinct from the all and everything. Expanding consciousness beyond the limited point of view of oneself and into the unlimited point of view of undivided unity, this—as if it were so simple—this is the technology of magic.”

This is what Robin’s spirit has been teaching me since 2012: that I am not separate or distinct from the Oneness and Unity of the Universe, even though I have often felt like I am. And neither are you.

Ego-based life on earth perpetuates the lie that we are alone, separate distinct entities, wandering around here unknown, unwatched, and unloved. That could not be further from the truth.

Synchronicity is a reminder that we are part and parcel of this Infinite Universe teeming with the energy of spiritual and eternal Love. This knowledge heals the damage, wounds, and fractures caused by the controlling and dominating energy of the unhealthy version of ego circulating on our planet.

From this point forward, I will continue to see synchronicity as beautiful, as a blessing, and as a gift from the Universe, which includes the energies of my deceased loved ones. But I will let go of being stunned and astonished by it because now, I know I am a part of the Universe. Synchronicity happens because we are included and loved. It’s clear to me that Robin has been doing his healing work with me during the past 12 years to get me to this point. This is what soul family members do for each other. Well done, Robin! 😊

Meaningful Music and Afterlife Communication

For many years, I have been studying the ways in which loved ones in spirit communicate with loved ones on earth. Communicating with music is definitely one of Spirit’s most common and favorite ways to connect. Generally speaking, humans love music because it taps into our universal needs for love, fun, motivation, serenity, excitement, celebration, and mourning. It reaches into almost every area of our lives. Music carries the memories of our relationships with the deceased. So, it makes sense that their spirits would connect with us in this way.

Karen T. Hluchan, in the article, “Messages in Music from Loved Ones in Spirit,” articulates this very idea. She states:

Often, our loved ones in spirit orchestrate events for us to hear music outside of ourselves that remind us of them. As mentioned, there are no coincidences. They work hard to send signs not only through music, but also signs you see, feel, hear, taste, and smell. These signs are their way of letting you know they are around, sending you love and comfort.

The moment in the café where I heard “Son of a Preacher Man” was orchestrated with such perfection that I truly honor the Intelligence behind it, and everything that was done to bring this blessing to fruition.

Along these lines, in the article, “Is It a Coincidence, or Is the Universe Telling You Something?” Midnight Oil states:

The universe is like a radio station broadcasting 24/7 for your whole life. However, you need to learn how to tune in to the broadcasts. You don’t need any specialized equipment to tune in. All you have to do is be aware that it’s there and keep an ear and an eye open for the messages – it’s that simple.

In terms of the broadcasts, Spirit is quite capable of sending out song lyrics and other types of music when there is a message needing to be conveyed.

The message I got from the song playing in the café was that Robin’s spirit was fully aware when I was connecting with him and playing the songs in my office. Once again, it’s about how we are all part of Unity Consciousness, so of course, that includes Robin’s spirit.

I felt his warm energetic presence around me when I was in the café. He was letting me know he received the message I sent out. I was like, “Wow, he really got my message!” And his spirit was teaching me, “Of course. After all this time, why are you surprised? We are in the Oneness together!” Like a boomerang, the song came back to me. This is how we have been communicating for years, which you can read about in this post. This example is not about a song; it’s about everyday conversation:

Medicinal Message

Through two-way afterlife communication, I have truly learned that life is an echo. Communicating with loved ones in Spirit is an eye-opening way to learn this lesson quickly. The echoes occur right before your eyes and it’s impossible to deny it.

In Closing

I would like to share one more quote by Tony Vigorito from “The Cathedral of Eternity” article mentioned above because it’s so good. It’s a good teaching to keep in mind during our experiences of synchronicity, especially if we are in the presence of someone attempting to invalidate us:

And the experience of synchronicity is profoundly personal. It relies upon your subjectivity and the meanings you bring to your life. Because of this, it is irrelevant to debate whether or not it’s real in the sense of what we might vainly refer to as objective reality. There’s an unavoidable arrogance in presuming to evaluate not merely the truth of someone else’s experience, but actually the truth of the meaning of someone else’s experience. In the latter case, it has absolutely nothing to do with anyone but the person involved.

I hope you enjoyed this post. All the posts I write are my spiritual service work that I offer freely to all who are guided here. Until next time!

The Significance of Birth Years in Twin Soul Connections

The Significance of Birth Years in Twin Soul Connections

In this post, “The Significance of Birth Years in Twin Soul Connections,” I share an unexpected connection with my birth year and The Bee Gees’ career as singers and songwriters. I write this post to honor Robin Hugh Gibb and Maurice Ernest Gibb on what would have been their 74th birthday.

December 15, 2023: Blog Writing Preparation

On December 15th, I did research to prepare to write for Robin and Maurice. I planned to have everything done so I could publish the post on their birthday, December 22nd. I had been mentally planning what I was going to write about for about a week. So, I got my articles together and committed to the topic I was going to write about.

Actuallly, I had been hoping to write a post that included Maurice as much as Robin, but I had not received any sign to write about. I studied the lyrics to “Man in the Middle” which Maurice sings lead on, but nothing was presenting itself for me to write about. So, I planned to write about a dream I had about Robin in 2022.

But I’m sure you have heard of the saying, “God laughs when we make plans.” Well, that was true for me in this instance. Here is what happened.

Christmas Time in Porto, Portugal: An Evening Stroll

On the evening of Saturday, December 16, 2023, my husband and I went for a stroll in downtown Porto. It was a clear and chilly night, the shining crescent moon perched in the sky. It was a great opportunity to gaze at the beautiful Christmas lights and displays set up in this picturesque city.

At one point, I saw a nativity scene that looked inviting. We walked over to it to get a closer look. At that moment, I noticed music playing in the marketplace right next to the nativity scene. I said to my husband, “That’s “Heartbreaker!” It was The Bee Gees’ version, not Dionne Warwick’s. That was a nice surprise, to have Robin and Maurice’s energy there. It reminded me of them right away. I don’t hear The Bee Gees’ music that much when I’m out and about, so it was very special. After taking some photos, we slowly strolled home, enjoying Christmas lights along the way.

“Heartbreaker” Leads to 1966

On Sunday, December 17th, to get my day started, I decided to research the lyrics for “Heartbreaker” more closely. When one of The Bee Gees’ songs shows up in my life, I like to look for any additional meaning there may be.

As I read the lyrics on Google, I felt thoughtful and introspective. This line is particularly powerful: “My love is stronger than the universe.” Through their lyrics, love is very often expressed in the most compelling of ways.

I read all the lyrics to the song on Google. When I reached the end, I noticed that “Heartbreaker” was credited to the wrong songwriters. Instead of Barry, Robin, and Maurice, it was “Songwriters: Ellie Greenwich / Jeff Barry / Phil Spector.” I was like, “Noooo.” You can’t always go by what Google says. I’m sure you already knew that. 😊

Then I did a different search. One of the choices was already pre-set for “Who wrote heart-breaker Dionne Warwick?” So, I clicked on this. Here, the lyrics to the song were credited to “Songwriters: Justin Bieber / Tyler Williams / Tony Scales / Brandon Green / Xavier Smith / J Valle Bandek.” I thought, “This is really messed, up, lol!” The “Heartbreaker” songs were mixed up. I guess that’s understandable.

Anyway, after I saw how Google did not give proper song writing credit to The Bee Gees, I noticed something else. There was an entry that said, “Gibb Songs: 1966— This year was the birth of the Bee Gees...” Here is a screenshot:

Bee Gees Songs 1966

It was very curious to me that this entry showed up in my search for “Heartbreaker” because this entry about Bee Gees songs from 1966 has nothing to do with the song. I took some time to read the biographical information and it’s not even mentioned. The article, “Gibb Songs: 1966,” was written by Joseph Brennan (1).

This was a complete surprise to me to see that someone had written this. The Bee Gees were officially formed in 1958, but Joseph Brennan saw 1966 as the year The Bee Gees were born.

Why is this significant to me?

The Significance of Birth Years in Twin Soul Connections

The year of the birth of The Bee Gees as a band is the same as my birth year into human life: 1966.

It’s mysterious how we mirrored each other that year. We were both born, but they were different types of births. It feels like we were connected, even back then. This parallel experience gave me a sense of closeness, oneness, and bonding with Robin and Maurice.

As Robin would say, “It’s a quality moment!” 😊

Also, I find it very powerful that I was getting ready to write a blog post to honor them on their birthday as humans at the exact same time I found this entry about their birth as a band.

When it comes to birthdays and birth years of twin souls, it is inspiring to notice the matching numbers that connect us. They stand out and get our attention as they are meant to.

It is also meaningful to acknowledge significant events that occurred in your twin’s life during or close to your birth year. For example, your twin could have had a child born the same year you were. This could be the case when there is a large age difference between the twins.

At the time of his death, Robin was approximately 17 years older than me. This gave him time to experience significant life events that would later turn out to be meaningful in our connection. Life parallels related to important events are good to note as a sign of the spiritual twin connection. I share an example of this in the blog post below where I mention I was born in Massachusetts. Being born into this state in 1966 adds another layer of meaning to the synchronicity because it mirrors The Bee Gees #1 hit song “Massachusetts,” which was released in 1967:

McKenzie and Massachusetts

Even though Robin, Maurice and I were born into human life about 17 years apart (they were born in 1949), the experience I have just written about shows me we can have other “births” during our lifetime that connect us as twin souls and soul families. When we match in terms of important life events occurring in the same year, it brings us closer spiritually and emotionally. Through afterlife communication, which is a multi-dimensional connection, we can continue to learn about the importance of our birth years in unexpected ways.

There is one more thing I would like to mention. I noticed something unusual about the “Gibb Songs: 1966” Google entry when I was doing my research. Later in the day, when I did the exact same search again, “Who wrote heart-breaker Dionne Warwick?”, the entry was nowhere to be found. I typed in exactly what I had done before when I first saw the entry. But it did not show up. I thought that maybe this search result had been removed due to data protection laws in Europe. If that is the case, I saw the blog entry just in time to receive the birth year message before it was removed. That is how Spirit works!😊

In Closing

I would like to dedicate “I Write the Songs,” sung by Barry Manilow, to Robin and Maurice. This song describes them perfectly as artists. I send it to them from my heart. They wrote the songs that made the whole world sing. The “Heartbreaker” video above, showing a compilation of Bee Gees’ videos throughout the years, is a perfect example of this. I invite you to watch Barry Manilow‘s incredible performance. He is a demonstration of true talent.

Happy Birthday Robin and Maurice!

Thank you very much for reading! I send you blessings for a wonderful holiday season and Happy New Year in 2024!

Love,

Christina Samuels Signature

Music Playing in my Head: Spiritual Messages Through Song

Music Playing in my Head: Spiritual Messages Through Song

In this post, “Music Playing in My Head: Spiritual Messages through Song,” I share a recent experience of a synchronistic musical connection with one of Robin’s songs from the CD, 50 St. Catherine’s Drive. Since almost everyone knows what it’s like to have a song play in their head repeatedly, I’m sure many of you will be able to relate to this story. I explore how songs playing in our heads could be pointing to a deeper message coming through from spirit.

Afterlife Communication Course: A Prelude to a Spiritual Message

In August and September 2023, I participated in an online course taught by author Perdita Finn called “Collaborate with Your Ancestral Spirits to Manifest the Miraculous: Bring Powerful Synchronicities, Messages and Gifts into Your Life.”

When I saw this course advertised, I was immediately drawn to it because I thought it could assist me in taking my communications with Robin and other deceased loved ones to an even deeper level. I am always open to learning and love the energy of live, online courses.

On September 5, 2023, I participated in a module called, “Connect with Saints, Deities & Ancient Mothers for Guidance & Companionship.” It was good for me because during my spiritual path, I have not learned much about the different saints that many people call on in times of trouble or for daily guidance. During this course, I learned how to connect with saints for specific issues, with an emphasis on being clear on what I truly want in terms of help or guidance.

As I listened to the discussion, I wrote a lot of notes as I usually do because it helps me learn and absorb the information more effectively. Overall, I felt happy that I participated in the class.

Songs, Saints, Signs and Synchronicity

After the workshop, and about 5 hours later in the evening, I spent some time sitting at Robin’s altar space before I went to bed. I like to talk with his spirit late in the evening when it is quiet. I like to share what’s going on in my life and stay connected to his energy.

Many times, when I sit at his altar, I play his music. It helps me to tune into his spirit and shows him I love and appreciate the music he and his brothers created. At that moment, I wanted to play a song, but I was not sure of which song to play.

At first, I was going to play, “One Million Years,” because it is a spiritual song filled with so much of Robin’s pure energy. But then, as I was sitting there in front of his altar photo, I started hearing the lyrics in my head, “na na na na na na, all I want is…love.” I couldn’t remember the lyrics to this song or the word that came before “love.” I spoke with Robin and asked him what the song was with the “na na na na na na” lyrics that kept playing in my head. 😊

It came to my remembrance that the song was from 50 St. Catherine’s Drive. I saw Instant Love in the liner notes of the CD I have and so I figured that was the song. I didn’t know it very well, so I chose this song to listen to at that moment.

When I played the song, I was so surprised and a bit shocked to hear the lyrics:

And now I stand before you
The patience of a saint…

This is one of those cases where timing is everything. I spoke with Robin again and said, “The patience of a saint…” That was quite a moment and synchronicity. It’s nice that the song came from the 50 St. Catherine’s Drive CD. But that is not synchronicity to me because I already knew the CD title. However, the song was a striking synchronicity because I did not know the lyrics and they came as a complete surprise to me.

This meant so much because I had just completed this module on connecting with saints a few hours before this occurred. Not only that, I also checked my notes and noticed I had written the word “saint” a total of 14 times! So, it seems I was quite primed for this synchronicity. “Saints” for me in my course, “saint” for Robin in his lyrics.

I love the feeling that what I do in my life so often matches and mirrors something to do with Robin at approximately the same time. He left behind a multitude of songs, interviews, videos, and biographies. To me, all these earthly blessings represent him symbolically. They provide an avenue through which to connect, communicate and synchronize.

In her article, “Got a Song Stuck in Your Head? Here’s Why It May Have Spiritual Significance—And How to Decode It,” Amanda Lieber addresses this phenomenon of spiritual messages being contained in the songs playing in our head.

She states that:

You may have heard that the other side can communicate with you through signs like feathers and coins, angel numbers, your dreams, and meditation, but most people don’t realize that spirits can draw on the power of an earworm song (one that you keep looping on) to send you divine messages, guidance, and support. And learning to interpret the spiritual meaning of a song stuck in your head could help you better receive these otherworldly gifts.

Music Playing in My Head: Interpreting the Spiritual Meaning

I interpret the spiritual meaning of the song “Instant Love” playing in my head in this way: I could feel the alignment and oneness with Robin’s spirit again. It felt like the familiar soul family connection I have had with his spirit over the years. It is like walking with him side by side. It really felt like he was with me. It also felt like his spirit is aware of what I do and what is going on with me. It is this closeness with his soul that I have found so healing. I feel I was guided to this song specifically to feel this closeness, support, surprise, happiness, and reassurance that it offered me. These uplifting feelings are a hallmark of loving afterlife communication.

Twin Soul Mirror: Birthday Moments

This synchronicity embodied the strong energy of spiritual companionship. Since 2012, after Robin died, his spirit has been a loving, comforting companion for me. I also offer his soul spiritual companionship as I continue to talk with him and include his spirit in my life. I truly believe that the deceased can provide loving companionship and support to the living, just as the living can provide loving companionship and support to the deceased. This has been my experience. We can still walk with each other and share each other’s lives.

It felt like the very title of the workshop, “Collaborate with Your Ancestral Spirits to Manifest the Miraculous: Bring Powerful Synchronicities, Messages and Gifts into Your Life,” was being made manifest in my life. By sitting at his altar and engaging with his energies, a collaboration occurred which brought about this message through what appears to be clairaudience. It was truly a “wow” moment and everything within me knew it was a sign from his spirit. Using his music to psychically communicate would be one of the most clear and obvious ways of connecting with those of us here on earth who are tuned into his soul.

So, the next time you have a song playing in your head, it may be worth it to see if there is a deeper meaning behind it. Throughout this post, I linked to some helpful articles and books if you would like to explore clairaudience more. It is a complex subject. There are many good resources to help us sort out what we may be experiencing.

Thank you so much for reading. Until next time!

Love,

The Power of Initials in Twin Soul Afterlife Communication

The Power of Initials in Twin Soul Afterlife Communication

This post, “The Power of Initials in Twin Soul Afterlife Communication” was inspired by a recent encounter I had with Robin’s initials. The manifestation of his initials served as confirmation for a question I asked, and twin soul synchronicity. It was very heart-touching. I hope you will enjoy my story!

After-Death Communication in Portugal

Hello! I have not written for a long time, and it is so nice to be back! Since I last wrote in May of 2022, my husband and I moved to northern Portugal, near Porto. So, here is a brief update for you.

The journey began in 2022 after the death of my father-in-law. With his passing, we no longer saw a need to remain living in the United States. It has been a life-long dream of mine to live in another country and we were finally in the position to be able to fulfill it.

To ensure we were making a good decision about where to move, my husband and I spent three months in Porto, Portugal during the fall of 2022. This gave us a chance to see how we felt about the country. We discovered what we liked and did not like and weighed the pros and cons.

After exploring several beautiful cities during this three-month period, such as Braga and Aveiro, we decided that we liked it enough to move here. At that point, we began to gather the documents needed to apply for our visa.

In March 2023, we had our visa appointment in Washington, D.C. where we submitted our paperwork. Everything went smoothly and we received our visa in April 2023. We sold our car and house in Florida and arrived here again in Portugal in June.

A few weeks ago, we had our immigration appointment to submit documents for our residency permit. So, we are official, legal residents of Portugal now. I am really enjoying it and gradually acclimating to our new life here.

Paisley and Poppies in Portugal: Asking for a Sign

During this long process of moving to Portugal, which was like a full-time job, I continued to stay connected to Robin’s spirit and kept communication with him open.

Recently, on July 31, 2023, I asked Robin for a sign that he would still wait for me. It was something on my mind because over 11 years have passed since he died. Since I have been so busy here on the earth plane, it’s nice to have the reassurance from him that our connection is strong and that he will be there to greet me when my time comes to pass away.

I previously wrote about this experience of deceased loved ones waiting for their living loved ones in this post, “Will You Wait for Me?

In this post, I also wrote about a spontaneous dream visit I had with Robin in 2012 where I asked if he would wait for me.

To come up with a sign I could ask him for, I researched gemstones on google. It is not always easy to know what to ask for, for a sign, but on this day, the word “gemstones” popped into my head.

Here is the information I saw on Google.

Gemstones

I saw the blue topaz, so this made me think to ask for “topaz” as a sign. I know blue was his favorite color, he wore blue lenses often and blue topaz is one of the birthstones for his birth month of December.

This is what I wrote in my journal:

Dear Beloved Robin,

…I also have a question. Robin, will you still wait for me? I mean, will you wait for me to cross over into the spirit world after I die physically and be with me in spirit?

I ask for the sign of: Topaz.

Any color of topaz is ok. Please make it so clear I cannot mistake it, such as seeing it or hearing it mentioned. This or something better or easier for you is ok. I don’t always know what to ask for, for signs so I will just go with this. Please let me know.

Love,

Christina

In the article, How to Ask the Universe for a Sign, Gabby Bernstein addresses this very issue of feeling confused about how to ask for a sign. It was very helpful for me and maybe it will give you some good ideas as well.

I like to type or write out my requests for signs in my journal. It makes me feel like I am sending out a very sincere and clear message that I wish to communicate with Robin’s spirit and the Universe. If or when I receive my sign, I can always go back to what I wrote and see if I get any further insights into the message I receive. I can see how close the sign is to what I originally asked for. Also, there is never any second-guessing as to what I asked for since it is there in writing. I would highly recommend this journaling practice in terms of afterlife communication.

RG Gemstones and Jewels: The Sign is Your Sign

A couple of days after I asked for this sign,on August 2nd, my husband and I went shopping in a city where I had a massage therapy appointment. Moving to a new country is very stressful and my shoulders have been tight and sore due to lifting heavy boxes, luggage and assembling my IKEA furniture 😊! So, I needed some pampering.

We had some extra time after my appointment, so we walked around exploring a bit. I had never been to this part of the city, and everything was new to me. As I walked, I noticed a store that really got my attention. It was a jewelry store. But not just any jewelry store. The name of the store is RG Jewels! Here is a picture of the sign from the jewelry store in Portugal:

RG Jewels in Porto

I softly smiled and was transfixed on the store sign for several moments. This store came as a complete surprise to me because I did not know it even existed given that I have just moved here to Portugal.

There were Robin’s initials right in front of me. This was very significant to me. Over the years of communication with him, his initials have been very important in our connection and have served as signs of his presence.

In this post, I wrote about how I found his “RG” initials on 2 mugs in 2012 in a thrift store while the song “Emotion” was playing. I still have the mugs on his altar to this very day. So, his initials are a powerful sign of his presence for me.

Robin Gibb Altar

I was and am so amazed that I researched gemstones, asked for the sign of topaz, and then Robin’s initials manifested in connection with a jewelry store selling gemstones just a couple of days after I requested the sign. This sense of amazement is what makes afterlife communication so life changing.

I saw a gemstone in the store window that may have been golden topaz. I’m not sure. The store window was filled with jewelry of various gemstones. Even though I am not sure I got the exact gemstone I asked for, I think that this jewelry store sign, with his exact initials, is something better or perhaps easier for him than the topaz I suggested as a sign. I accept the sign as my sign, and a sign of Robin’s presence, because it is so specific and personal to him and me. The store sign is like a mirror for the “RG” mugs I have kept on his altar for years.

It is important to be flexible in afterlife communication, especially when asking for specific signs. To address this issue, Faye Schindelka recommends the following approach in “A Course in After Death Communication,” (2012). Unfortunately, the booklet is no longer available online, so I cannot link to it:

“Remain open to receiving your requested sign and trust that your deceased loved one will work overtime to see that you receive it. While you have asked for a specific sign, keep in mind that it may manifest in a slightly different way than what you might have expected. This openness is important, because the moment we become attached to a particular way that something ‘should’ be, we often contract our energy and thus close ourselves off to the receiving of it.”

Due to this experience, I feel I have received the confirmation that he will still wait for me. That brings me happiness and is a relief. After everything we have shared while I have been on earth and he is in Spirit, I really want to see him and spend time with his spirit to debrief and learn about the full measure of our spiritual connection. This was a very powerful answer to my question, and I feel like the Universe was guiding me. It is my opinion that the Universe is always guiding us. We just need to have awareness and have an open heart to receive guidance.

Initials and Twin Soul Connections

In the excellent article, “18 Powerful Twin Flame Synchronicities You’ll Experience,” by Tina Fey, number four on her list has to do with seeing your twin flame’s name or initials everywhere.

She states that:

“Your twin flame’s name will be one of the most important words to your spirit.”

This is very true for me as I have a very strong connection with Robin’s name and initials since 2012, the year that he died. I can say with certainty that I have unexpectedly experienced seeing Robin’s name and initials over the years in very tangible, synchronistic ways that I have been able to buy or photograph. It is quite magical. It’s this type of magic that the twin soul connection brings and what makes life beautiful and fulfilling.

It’s all about what is meaningful to you in terms of what is presenting itself to you. It may not be meaningful to someone else. Another person may brush it off as mere coincidence. Some people even go as far as ridiculing signs.

However, once you know you have a strong connection with your twin, you come to understand that this is one of the most common ways communications occur: through synchronicity. To dismiss it could potentially create a missed opportunity for bonding between twins. Therefore, I honor the synchronicity and signs I receive, especially if I have just asked Robin’s spirit a question. I asked a question, and I got an answer. I cherish that, respect that and always say “thank you”.

So, if you are experiencing a twin flame connection, be on the lookout for the name or initials of your twin showing up in various ways. Try to be open and flexible in terms of how the sign may present itself. It is a very meaningful experience to have your twin show up in this way and one which I feel very strongly in my heart.

In fact, I believe one reason the names and initials present themselves is because of the unbreakable connection of hearts. This is especially powerful when one twin is deceased. Through the heart bond, we are drawn to things in the physical world which connect us right back to and remind us of our twin soul.

Thank you for reading! I hope you found something meaningful in this post.

Love,
