In this post, “Cross-Dimensional Communication and Family Connections,” I will share a recent story about how connecting with Robin’s spirit sometimes involves a family member of his. While researching cross-dimensional communication, I received cross-dimensional communication that was meaningful and a bit of fun. Fans of the soap opera “General Hospital,” which airs in the United States and around the world, may find this enjoyable. The events I will write about occurred on November 11 and 12, 2023.

Setting the Stage: YouTube in Everyday Life

On Saturday, November 11th, also known as Remembrance Day, I spent time relaxing and recovering at home after a minor procedure I had done on my right shoulder a few days earlier. I turned on our television and went to YouTube to see if there were any interesting new videos in my queue.

I noticed a video with actors from “General Hospital.” I knew the video was in my queue because I had heard that actor Tyler Christopher had recently died, and I had been watching videos about him. I used to watch “General Hospital” regularly about 15 years ago. Even though I lost touch with the story line, I still remember the actors I watched for years.

In the video, I noticed the actors that play Carly and Jason. The other actor looked older and more mature than when I was watching the show, but I realized that he played the character of Spinelli. I watched the video for several minutes, and it was fun to see the actors interacting on the podcast. Here is the video of “The Daily Drama Podcast with Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson” that I am referring to.

Ongoing Research on Twin Souls

Throughout the years of communicating with Robin, I have continued to do research on twin flames, twin souls, twin rays, and soul families. It is something I really enjoy and sometimes I discover a helpful new article I have never seen before. I want to keep my knowledge fresh, and I also like to share pertinent articles that other readers may benefit from.

Late in the evening on Sunday, November 12th, I felt guided to do research before going to sleep. I was thinking about what to Google. Suddenly the words, “Cross-dimensional communication twin flames,” popped into my head. So, I typed that in the search box.

As I scrolled through the articles and videos, I came across one that caught my attention. In the short introductory paragraph that Google shows along with the link to the article, I noticed the name “Barbara Spinelli.”

I thought that it was so weird because I had just been thinking about the character of Spinelli on “General Hospital” the day before. That was Spinelli two days in a row. It is not a common name in my life and never shows up, so this made me take notice.

The title of the article is, “What’s a Twin Flame and How Do You Know If You Found Yours?” by Colleen de Bellefonds.

In the article, Ms. Spinelli, a therapist and relationship expert, is quoted as saying that twin flames “may feel: overwhelming, divine, magnetic and predestined.”  I agree with this description. There is a sacred element to my connection with Robin that I am sure has to do with the fact that he is on the other side.

I felt grateful that I found the article. I was curious about the name “Spinelli” showing up twice in such proximity. It felt synchronistic. Everything I research about twin souls or twin flames connects to Robin because I would not be researching this topic at all if it were not for my relationship with his spirit. It felt a little bit like his spirit was with me and aware of even the little everyday things I do… and watch!

Cross-Dimensional Communication and Family Connections

I am always one to check my facts. So, after I read the twin flame article, I decided to Google Bradford Anderson to make sure he is the one who plays Spinelli. The Google search confirmed that he is. But to my surprise, the Google search revealed something else that really caught my attention. Bradford Anderson’s birthday is September 21, 1979.

When I saw “September 21,” I immediately knew that birth date is also the birth date for Robin’s oldest son Spencer. Spencer’s birth date is September 21, 1972.

The “General Hospital,” Spinelli, and twin flame “breadcrumbs” all led to this connection with Robin’s son. That was amazing and meaningful to me. This really cheered me up too because I have been dealing with painful shoulder bursitis lately. I feel like this was Robin’s way of letting me know his spirit was with me through it all. This is one of the main reasons our loved ones in spirit still communicate with us: to remind us we are not alone when we go through challenging times. It just goes to show you that Spirit can use anything to get a message to us…even soap operas you watched 15 years ago!

This also made me feel like Robin wanted our communications to include his son who is someone particularly important to him. The synchronistic birth dates would be something that would matter to Robin. This is why I got the matching “Spinelli’s.” Thank goodness I followed my intuition to check my facts, or I would have missed the matching birthdays.

When it comes to cross-dimensional communication, deceased loved ones love to send messages connected to what matters to them the most. It could be their favorite color, food, song, perfume, or family member’s birthday.

I do not know Spencer and never will, so it is a bit awkward to write about him. But this was the message that I got, and it included his birthday. I always talk with Robin on September 21st, to acknowledge that I know it is his son’s birthday and that I hope he can spend time near him spiritually.

Spencer’s birthday is also meaningful to me because I have followed and supported his music career. I love his photography and I like to read his Facebook posts from time to time. He seems like a cool guy, and I think I would like him if I met him. I have spoken to Robin about Spencer many times over the years, so this is why his birth date showing up unexpectedly like this is meaningful to me. I felt a little tug at my heartstrings.

When deceased twin souls communicate, the details are not always about them personally. Details about their family members or friends may show up too. These details still point to your twin soul, and it is all part of the connection. I once saw the last name of Robin’s ex-wife Molly on a license plate. That really shocked me at the time. I came to understand that details about his family members would be a part of the messages I would receive. I wrote about this here:

Wisdom on Cross-Dimensional Communication

Wayne Hatford, creator of the blog, “Valentino Speaks: The Wisdom of Rudolph Valentino,” shares an excellent description of cross-dimensional communication in general. More specifically, he has a spiritual connection with Rudolph Valentino, and has authored a book about it, so he speaks from experience. If you are a fan of Rudolph Valentino, or simply curious, you may enjoy his writings.

Regarding cross dimensional communication, Mr. Hatford states:

I contend that we are always communicating with those on the Other Side, some of us more consciously than others. Who are they? Friends, relatives, lovers, partners, husbands, wives ~ in short, anyone with whom we have agreements. Those we never met may also be included in the mix, as they may be involved with us for other reasons. Some of these sparks of energy (for that is what they are without a physical body) take on the role of spiritual guide, lending their support and participating in our lives to greater or lesser degrees, again, according to mutual agreement.

I really like what he had to say, especially how he acknowledges that we may have cross-dimensional communication with people we have never met. If we share a genuine soul connection with another spirit, whether we ever met or not in the 3D realm is irrelevant to me. We could have known each other in other lifetimes or planes of existence. I agree that souls can be drawn back together due to mutual agreement. In some cases, this may result in doing work together while sharing a cross-dimensional relationship. This blog is an example of this phenomenon.

Afterlife communication is cross-dimensional communication, and it can evolve into an ongoing relationship based on respect, devotion and spiritual growth for all parties involved. I consider Robin to be a powerful, creative, and loving guide who has given me countless spiritual gifts since his death in 2012.

With his presence in my life, I have experienced growth in so many areas including the improvement of my psychic abilities and knowledge of how spirits communicate. He is the one who opened my heart to the reality of twin souls and the benefit of knowing that we have soul family connections on the other side.

Twin Souls and Life Parallels

I have also come to know from personal experience that whether we are living or deceased, we exist in more than one dimension at a time. In the book, Living Souls in the Spirit Dimension: The Afterlife and Transdimensional Reality by Chris H. Hardy, Ph.D., this topic is explored in depth.This is what makes dream visits possible with the deceased. They can visit us, and we can also visit them when in a hypnogogic state, for example.If you are interested in Dr. Hardy’s work, you can read more here.

Even though I did not share a family connection with Robin while he was alive, I am so grateful to call him a member of my spiritual family now. Through our communications over the years, I have also noticed how Robin has grown and progressed spiritually. At times, he has communicated in a way that I would consider to be quite advanced, such as when he began creating infinity symbols out of dental floss and leaving them where I could see them. He did not do this in 2012, but by July 2013, he was able to do this. I would like to think that our connection has afforded him an opportunity to practice and refine his skills! 😊

Music Playing in my Head: Spiritual Messages Through Song

In this post, “Music Playing in My Head: Spiritual Messages through Song,” I share a recent experience of a synchronistic musical connection with one of Robin’s songs from the CD, 50 St. Catherine’s Drive. Since almost everyone knows what it’s like to have a song play in their head repeatedly, I’m sure many of you will be able to relate to this story. I explore how songs playing in our heads could be pointing to a deeper message coming through from spirit.

Afterlife Communication Course: A Prelude to a Spiritual Message

In August and September 2023, I participated in an online course taught by author Perdita Finn called “Collaborate with Your Ancestral Spirits to Manifest the Miraculous: Bring Powerful Synchronicities, Messages and Gifts into Your Life.”

When I saw this course advertised, I was immediately drawn to it because I thought it could assist me in taking my communications with Robin and other deceased loved ones to an even deeper level. I am always open to learning and love the energy of live, online courses.

On September 5, 2023, I participated in a module called, “Connect with Saints, Deities & Ancient Mothers for Guidance & Companionship.” It was good for me because during my spiritual path, I have not learned much about the different saints that many people call on in times of trouble or for daily guidance. During this course, I learned how to connect with saints for specific issues, with an emphasis on being clear on what I truly want in terms of help or guidance.

As I listened to the discussion, I wrote a lot of notes as I usually do because it helps me learn and absorb the information more effectively. Overall, I felt happy that I participated in the class.

Songs, Saints, Signs and Synchronicity

After the workshop, and about 5 hours later in the evening, I spent some time sitting at Robin’s altar space before I went to bed. I like to talk with his spirit late in the evening when it is quiet. I like to share what’s going on in my life and stay connected to his energy.

Many times, when I sit at his altar, I play his music. It helps me to tune into his spirit and shows him I love and appreciate the music he and his brothers created. At that moment, I wanted to play a song, but I was not sure of which song to play.

At first, I was going to play, “One Million Years,” because it is a spiritual song filled with so much of Robin’s pure energy. But then, as I was sitting there in front of his altar photo, I started hearing the lyrics in my head, “na na na na na na, all I want is…love.” I couldn’t remember the lyrics to this song or the word that came before “love.” I spoke with Robin and asked him what the song was with the “na na na na na na” lyrics that kept playing in my head. 😊

It came to my remembrance that the song was from 50 St. Catherine’s Drive. I saw “Instant Love” in the liner notes of the CD I have and so I figured that was the song. I didn’t know it very well, so I chose this song to listen to at that moment.

When I played the song, I was so surprised and a bit shocked to hear the lyrics:

And now I stand before you
The patience of a saint…

This is one of those cases where timing is everything. I spoke with Robin again and said, “The patience of a saint…” That was quite a moment and synchronicity. It’s nice that the song came from the 50 St. Catherine’s Drive CD. But that is not synchronicity to me because I already knew the CD title. However, the song was a striking synchronicity because I did not know the lyrics and they came as a complete surprise to me.

This meant so much because I had just completed this module on connecting with saints a few hours before this occurred. Not only that, I also checked my notes and noticed I had written the word “saint” a total of 14 times! So, it seems I was quite primed for this synchronicity. “Saints” for me in my course, “saint” for Robin in his lyrics.

I love the feeling that what I do in my life so often matches and mirrors something to do with Robin at approximately the same time. He left behind a multitude of songs, interviews, videos, and biographies. To me, all these earthly blessings represent him symbolically. They provide an avenue through which to connect, communicate and synchronize.

In her article, “Got a Song Stuck in Your Head? Here’s Why It May Have Spiritual Significance—And How to Decode It,” Amanda Lieber addresses this phenomenon of spiritual messages being contained in the songs playing in our head.

She states that:

You may have heard that the other side can communicate with you through signs like feathers and coins, angel numbers, your dreams, and meditation, but most people don’t realize that spirits can draw on the power of an earworm song (one that you keep looping on) to send you divine messages, guidance, and support. And learning to interpret the spiritual meaning of a song stuck in your head could help you better receive these otherworldly gifts.

Music Playing in My Head: Interpreting the Spiritual Meaning

I interpret the spiritual meaning of the song “Instant Love” playing in my head in this way: I could feel the alignment and oneness with Robin’s spirit again. It felt like the familiar soul family connection I have had with his spirit over the years. It is like walking with him side by side. It really felt like he was with me. It also felt like his spirit is aware of what I do and what is going on with me. It is this closeness with his soul that I have found so healing. I feel I was guided to this song specifically to feel this closeness, support, surprise, happiness, and reassurance that it offered me. These uplifting feelings are a hallmark of loving afterlife communication.

Twin Soul Mirror: Birthday Moments

This synchronicity embodied the strong energy of spiritual companionship. Since 2012, after Robin died, his spirit has been a loving, comforting companion for me. I also offer his soul spiritual companionship as I continue to talk with him and include his spirit in my life. I truly believe that the deceased can provide loving companionship and support to the living, just as the living can provide loving companionship and support to the deceased. This has been my experience. We can still walk with each other and share each other’s lives.

It felt like the very title of the workshop, “Collaborate with Your Ancestral Spirits to Manifest the Miraculous: Bring Powerful Synchronicities, Messages and Gifts into Your Life,” was being made manifest in my life. By sitting at his altar and engaging with his energies, a collaboration occurred which brought about this message through what appears to be clairaudience. It was truly a “wow” moment and everything within me knew it was a sign from his spirit. Using his music to psychically communicate would be one of the most clear and obvious ways of connecting with those of us here on earth who are tuned into his soul.

So, the next time you have a song playing in your head, it may be worth it to see if there is a deeper meaning behind it. There are many good resources to help us sort out what we may be experiencing.

After-Death Communication in Portugal

Hello! I have not written for a long time, and it is so nice to be back! Since I last wrote in May of 2022, my husband and I moved to northern Portugal, near Porto. So, here is a brief update for you.

The journey began in 2022 after the death of my father-in-law. With his passing, we no longer saw a need to remain living in the United States. It has been a life-long dream of mine to live in another country and we were finally in the position to be able to fulfill it.

To ensure we were making a good decision about where to move, my husband and I spent three months in Porto, Portugal during the fall of 2022. This gave us a chance to see how we felt about the country. We discovered what we liked and did not like and weighed the pros and cons.

After exploring several beautiful cities during this three-month period, such as Braga and Aveiro, we decided that we liked it enough to move here. At that point, we began to gather the documents needed to apply for our visa.

In March 2023, we had our visa appointment in Washington, D.C. where we submitted our paperwork. Everything went smoothly and we received our visa in April 2023. We sold our car and house in Florida and arrived here again in Portugal in June.

A few weeks ago, we had our immigration appointment to submit documents for our residency permit. So, we are official, legal residents of Portugal now. I am really enjoying it and gradually acclimating to our new life here.

Paisley and Poppies in Portugal: Asking for a Sign

During this long process of moving to Portugal, which was like a full-time job, I continued to stay connected to Robin’s spirit and kept communication with him open.

Recently, on July 31, 2023, I asked Robin for a sign that he would still wait for me. It was something on my mind because over 11 years have passed since he died. Since I have been so busy here on the earth plane, it’s nice to have the reassurance from him that our connection is strong and that he will be there to greet me when my time comes to pass away.

I previously wrote about this experience of deceased loved ones waiting for their living loved ones in this post, “Will You Wait for Me?”

In this post, I also wrote about a spontaneous dream visit I had with Robin in 2012 where I asked if he would wait for me.

To come up with a sign I could ask him for, I researched gemstones on google. It is not always easy to know what to ask for, for a sign, but on this day, the word “gemstones” popped into my head.

Here is the information I saw on Google.

I saw the blue topaz, so this made me think to ask for “topaz” as a sign. I know blue was his favorite color, he wore blue lenses often and blue topaz is one of the birthstones for his birth month of December.

This is what I wrote in my journal:

Dear Beloved Robin,

…I also have a question. Robin, will you still wait for me? I mean, will you wait for me to cross over into the spirit world after I die physically and be with me in spirit?

I ask for the sign of: Topaz.

Any color of topaz is ok. Please make it so clear I cannot mistake it, such as seeing it or hearing it mentioned. This or something better or easier for you is ok. I don’t always know what to ask for, for signs so I will just go with this. Please let me know.

In the article, How to Ask the Universe for a Sign, Gabby Bernstein addresses this very issue of feeling confused about how to ask for a sign. It was very helpful for me and maybe it will give you some good ideas as well.

I like to type or write out my requests for signs in my journal. It makes me feel like I am sending out a very sincere and clear message that I wish to communicate with Robin’s spirit and the Universe. If or when I receive my sign, I can always go back to what I wrote and see if I get any further insights into the message I receive. I can see how close the sign is to what I originally asked for. Also, there is never any second-guessing as to what I asked for since it is there in writing. I would highly recommend this journaling practice in terms of afterlife communication.

RG Gemstones and Jewels: The Sign is Your Sign

A couple of days after I asked for this sign,on August 2nd, my husband and I went shopping in a city where I had a massage therapy appointment. Moving to a new country is very stressful and my shoulders have been tight and sore due to lifting heavy boxes, luggage and assembling my IKEA furniture 😊! So, I needed some pampering.

We had some extra time after my appointment, so we walked around exploring a bit. I had never been to this part of the city, and everything was new to me. As I walked, I noticed a store that really got my attention. It was a jewelry store. But not just any jewelry store. The name of the store is RG Jewels! Here is a picture of the sign from the jewelry store in Portugal:

I softly smiled and was transfixed on the store sign for several moments. This store came as a complete surprise to me because I did not know it even existed given that I have just moved here to Portugal.

There were Robin’s initials right in front of me. This was very significant to me. Over the years of communication with him, his initials have been very important in our connection and have served as signs of his presence.

In this post, I wrote about how I found his “RG” initials on 2 mugs in 2012 in a thrift store while the song “Emotion” was playing. I still have the mugs on his altar to this very day. So, his initials are a powerful sign of his presence for me.

I was and am so amazed that I researched gemstones, asked for the sign of topaz, and then Robin’s initials manifested in connection with a jewelry store selling gemstones just a couple of days after I requested the sign. This sense of amazement is what makes afterlife communication so life changing.

I saw a gemstone in the store window that may have been golden topaz. I’m not sure. The store window was filled with jewelry of various gemstones. Even though I am not sure I got the exact gemstone I asked for, I think that this jewelry store sign, with his exact initials, is something better or perhaps easier for him than the topaz I suggested as a sign. I accept the sign as my sign, and a sign of Robin’s presence, because it is so specific and personal to him and me. The store sign is like a mirror for the “RG” mugs I have kept on his altar for years.

It is important to be flexible in afterlife communication, especially when asking for specific signs. To address this issue, Faye Schindelka recommends the following approach in “A Course in After Death Communication,” (2012). Unfortunately, the booklet is no longer available online, so I cannot link to it:

“Remain open to receiving your requested sign and trust that your deceased loved one will work overtime to see that you receive it. While you have asked for a specific sign, keep in mind that it may manifest in a slightly different way than what you might have expected. This openness is important, because the moment we become attached to a particular way that something ‘should’ be, we often contract our energy and thus close ourselves off to the receiving of it.”

Due to this experience, I feel I have received the confirmation that he will still wait for me. That brings me happiness and is a relief. After everything we have shared while I have been on earth and he is in Spirit, I really want to see him and spend time with his spirit to debrief and learn about the full measure of our spiritual connection. This was a very powerful answer to my question, and I feel like the Universe was guiding me. It is my opinion that the Universe is always guiding us. We just need to have awareness and have an open heart to receive guidance.

Initials and Twin Soul Connections

In the excellent article, “18 Powerful Twin Flame Synchronicities You’ll Experience,” by Tina Fey, number four on her list has to do with seeing your twin flame’s name or initials everywhere.

She states that:

“Your twin flame’s name will be one of the most important words to your spirit.”

This is very true for me as I have a very strong connection with Robin’s name and initials since 2012, the year that he died. I can say with certainty that I have unexpectedly experienced seeing Robin’s name and initials over the years in very tangible, synchronistic ways that I have been able to buy or photograph. It is quite magical. It’s this type of magic that the twin soul connection brings and what makes life beautiful and fulfilling.

It’s all about what is meaningful to you in terms of what is presenting itself to you. It may not be meaningful to someone else. Another person may brush it off as mere coincidence. Some people even go as far as ridiculing signs.

However, once you know you have a strong connection with your twin, you come to understand that this is one of the most common ways communications occur: through synchronicity. To dismiss it could potentially create a missed opportunity for bonding between twins. Therefore, I honor the synchronicity and signs I receive, especially if I have just asked Robin’s spirit a question. I asked a question, and I got an answer. I cherish that, respect that and always say “thank you”.

So, if you are experiencing a twin flame connection, be on the lookout for the name or initials of your twin showing up in various ways. Try to be open and flexible in terms of how the sign may present itself. It is a very meaningful experience to have your twin show up in this way and one which I feel very strongly in my heart.

In fact, I believe one reason the names and initials present themselves is because of the unbreakable connection of hearts. This is especially powerful when one twin is deceased. Through the heart bond, we are drawn to things in the physical world which connect us right back to and remind us of our twin soul.

This post, “The Music of Robin Gibb: A Beautiful Sadness,” is written in remembrance of Robin and in honor of the 10th anniversary of his passing on May 20, 2022.

Robin Gibb: 10 Years in Spirit

It has been 10 years since Robin passed away. I know that many fans around the world will be thinking of him, sending his spirit love and celebrating his life by continuing to listen to his music and watch his interviews.

I feel so blessed to have connected with his spirit over the years. I am very grateful to Robin for all that he has taught me and shared with me in terms of soul communication. I’m happy to know a little bit about what he is like as a spiritual being beyond the body. Still, I wonder about how he has grown and evolved as a spirit. I think about what he has seen and experienced in the spiritual world that is far beyond anything I can know.

I have truly enjoyed writing about and sharing my spiritual experiences with Robin who I strongly consider to be one of my soul family members. That is the way it is for some of us: we lovingly meet soul family members and those we share a twin soul connection with after they die physically.

It is my belief that we are all eternal souls, so these meetings can occur at any time, whether you knew each other in one particular lifetime or not. I never met Robin while he was alive and so I am deeply grateful that his spirit gave me what to me is indisputable proof of his ongoing life and existence.

I have documented my experiences on this website for anyone who is open this reality. I continue to write to love and honor Robin’s spirit, and the experiences, which to me are sacred spiritual gifts.

Why did he give me such awe-inspiring proof? My intuition tells me it is because we have known each other in other lifetimes and planes of existence. I recognized his soul energy in 2012 just weeks prior to his death. We have been spiritually connected ever since.

Hopefully, some day on this planet, it won’t be seen as weird to say something like this because the reality is we all have numerous soul connections with countless souls in other realities that we may not be aware of right now. Some of them will break through to us. Robin was able to accomplish this and has opened my consciousness up to new worlds and realities ever since.

I strongly believe another reason he communicated with me so powerfully was because I was open to the connection with his spirit. I was willing to work through my fears about communicating with him and I did not push the connection away. Having this openness is important for those of us interested in afterlife communication as long as we are doing so in the vibration of love and protecting ourselves.

Lots of things have happened in my life personally since Robin’s passing, over the years and recently. My father-in-law passed away in February, 2022. My husband Julian has had a hard time with this loss. As a result, about a week after his father died, he had a bike accident that left him with a black eye, scraped shoulder and severely bruised hand. I think it happened because he wasn’t concentrating as well as he could normally.

In our case, there have been so many new things to handle as a result of his father’s death. Luckily, nothing was broken and he has been recovering well. Still, it was another wake-up call as to how fragile life is and how quickly things can change. So, with all of these things going on, I went on hiatus from writing here so I could help with multiple family matters.

Still, I was determined to write for the 10-year anniversary of Robin’s passing. I have what I consider to be a heart-touching, music-related synchronicity to share with you.

According to author Robert Moss, who wrote the book, Sidewalk Oracles: Playing with Signs, Symbols, and Synchronicity in Everyday Life (2015):

 

Synchronicity is when the universe gets personal.

 

I could not agree more.

Since Robin passed away, the synchronicity I have experienced with his spirit has been connected to his life and my life in very personal, mysterious ways. It makes me feel very close to him.

What Synchronicity Means & How To Increase It

My feelings about the synchronicity I would like to share in this post are reflected in the lyrics of Robin’s beautiful song, “Don’t Cry Alone:”

 

Surely as the sun sets, new suns are rising…

 Afterlife communication with his spirit is the embodiment of these lyrics. In 2012, his life ended like the setting sun. We all know the sun still exists even after it sets and we can’t see it. It’s the same with Robin’s spirit.

I can’t see it with the naked eye, but his life energy, through the communications, continues on like the rising of new suns. For me, his spirit becomes visible, like a new day, a new sun, through synchronicity, dreams and other forms of afterlife communication. I firmly believe that synchronicity is a mysterious force that gives physical world evidence of an energy-light connection between souls that cannot be seen visibly.

The Music of Robin Gibb: A Beautiful Sadness

On March 19, 2022, I watched a show on Netflix with my husband called, “Love is Blind-Japan.” On one of the episodes, Misaki and Kaoru were talking.

It seemed like Misaki was criticizing Kaoru for being negative about painful events that had happened in her life. Kaoru, a singer, felt Misaki lacked depth and did not take enough time to get to know why she felt the way she did.

My husband and I paused the show to talk about the dynamics occurring between them. I said to him that Kaoru could channel her feelings that resulted from difficult life situations into her music. We talked about how this would be a therapeutic way to handle the situations. I shared my feelings that Robin could make sadness sound beautiful through his music. My exact words were, “No one could make sadness sound beautiful like Robin Gibb could.”

After our chat, we went back to finish watching the show.

The next evening, March 20th, about 24 hours later, we watched another show on Netflix called “Somebody Feed Phil.”

We were watching Season 1, the episode on Lisbon, Portugal. My husband and I have been thinking about retiring abroad and this is one of the countries we are seriously considering.

Towards the end of the episode, at 50:20 into the video, Phil mentioned an important word he learned during his travels in Portugal. That word is “saudade.” He said, “It’s a Portuguese feeling that seems to be part of the national character.”

It was his next words that caught my attention. I felt the rising sun of Robin peeking through.

Phil said the word saudade “means longing…or…or a certain beautiful sadness.” Here is a screen shot documenting this.Feed Phil.

I felt Robin’s presence with me strongly in these words that synchronized so clearly with what I had just stated about his music the night before.

The alignment with beautiful sadness and music continued as I watched the show because after Phil said this, there were musicians singing and playing Portuguese folk music called Fado.

Phil stated it was this kind of music that made people have this feeling of saudade. He said it was like the “Portuguese blues” which connects to the feelings of missing someone. It has to do with missing someone in a good way because it shows you love them.

Overall, I felt very happy that the concept of music and beautiful sadness was reflected back to me through this show such a short time after I was talking about Robin and his music. I find Robin’s tear-jerker voice, as Maurice called it, to be very healing and therapeutic in this regard. Sometimes I listen to certain songs like “Don’t Cry Alone,” “Country Lanes,” or “Heart Like Mine” because I know that when I listen to them, they will help me release tears, grief, and sadness I have bottled up inside.

These songs are all good examples of the beautiful sadness he conveyed through his voice and harmonies. Some other good examples are “Elisa,” “For Whom the Bell Tolls,” and “Love Hurts.”

A Beautiful Sadness: Reflections on Saudade, Soul Connections and Afterlife Communications

When it comes to afterlife communication, there are many times you just know in your soul that you are connecting with your loved one. As soon as I heard Phil say the words “beautiful sadness,” I felt such a strong resonance. It was like a little bell went off. I felt so grateful to be in sync with Robin’s spirit. I felt guided by Spirit to watch this show when I did so as to receive this poignant communication. The fact that we may be traveling to Portugal in the not-too-distant future made this synchronicity all the more meaningful.

When I say that I share a twin soul connection with Robin’s spirit, I mean it in terms of energy and vibration. To me, he is a member of my soul family in the spirit world that I share a nearly identical energy light vibration with. The nearly identical energy vibration shows up in the multitude of synchronicity I have experienced with his spirit since 2012, including this one I have written about in this post.

As a matter of fact, synchronicity occurred while I was in the process of writing this post.

During the afternoon of May 9th, I wrote this post and selected a few of my own blog posts I wanted to link to.

One of the posts I selected is “How Deceased Twin Souls Show Up, Part 2.” Before I selected it, I skimmed through the post to refresh my memory. I noticed I wrote about my Day of the Dead celebration for Robin in 2020. I spent a few moments reflecting on the photo of his altar with the food offering I gave him.

How Deceased Twin Souls Show Up, Part 2

Just a few hours later, during the evening of May 9th, my husband rented the movie “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.” I sat and watched it with him for a few minutes. To my happy surprise, one of the characters mentioned that her deceased loved one was getting all of his favorite things for Day of the Dead!

I felt in alignment with Robin’s spirit and the Universal spirit that watches over all of us. I felt this way because it seemed particularly unusual for an unexpected synchronicity with Day of the Dead to show up this way in May, not October or November when the celebration is typically held. So, this was very meaningful to me. Once again, this is how deceased twin souls show up! 🙂

I believe that the synchronicities happen to help make it clear that you do share a connection with another soul, whether still alive physically or deceased physically. The merciful Universe truly helps those of us who discover we are deeply spiritually connected to someone we did not know personally and never met in one particular lifetime. Our guides in spirit know we need the support and assistance in navigating our connections, as many of us are experiencing saudade.

“Saudade” can also refer to nostalgia or homesickness. Like some of you reading this, I experience saudade as homesickness for my true home in spirit. For many years, I have felt like the earth plane is not my true home. I miss the unconditional love, soul family connections, peace and beauty of the spirit world which to me is my true home.

gives beautiful descriptions of saudade.

One of the Bee Gees’ songs that makes me feel this saudade, this nostalgia the most is “Love so Right.” It is so beautiful and reminds me of a quiet summer evening in the 1970’s. This story of love gone wrong makes me feel so thoughtful and contemplative. When I hear this song, I tear up and feel like I can’t wait to hug Robin in spirit someday. It is beautiful sadness:

Our spirit guides, guardians, teachers and healers in spirit know how we feel. They see the full picture of who we are and who we have been together, even when we don’t remember fully. I believe our reconnections are completely supported by the Divine, our guides, angels and the Universe as long as we are lovingly open to reconnecting. I’m so grateful that Robin was open and willing to reconnect with me as I was with him. I hope you are experiencing beautiful reconnections with your deceased loved ones as well if that’s what you truly want.

Twin Soul Dream Communication: The Look-Alike Phenomenon

This post is about twin soul dream communication: The look-alike phenomenon. It is inspired by a recent dream I had about Robin. I wanted to write about it while it is still fresh in my mind. Those of you particularly interested in twin soul connections may find it to be something you resonate with in terms of your own experiences.

At this time of our spiritual journey together, most of my communications with Robin come in the form of synchronicity. However, I still have dreams about him. Some of them truly stand out and feel like he and God are really try to tell me something. The dream I am going to share in this post is one of those dreams.

Twin Soul Dream Communication from Robin’s Spirit

During the evening of November 30, 2021, I sat at Robin’s altar table that I have kept for him for years. That night, a strong feeling of missing him came over me and I started to tear up. The afterlife communication that I share with him usually keeps me from missing him too much. But this night, the feelings surfaced and I shared with him that I missed him. I just let myself have the feelings.

Soon after that, I went to bed.

During the morning hours of December 1st, I had what to me was a very interesting dream about Robin. I feel like he was responding directly to how I said I missed him. It was like he was saying, “I’m still here, don’t worry.” But he also wanted to remind me of something.

Here is the dream:

In the dream, Robin appears from the mid-chest up. He seems to be sitting although I can’t see the chair. He is looking at me and smiling a big smile at me. He looks like he did when he was in his mid-fifties. He was wearing a blue jacket and glasses, just like in this photo.  At the time this photo was taken, Robin was 55 years old.

He wasn’t giving me the thumbs up. 🙂 His arms and hands were folded one on top of the other.

The next thing that happens is that I show up in the dream. My face appears below Robin’s face and I look like I do now at age 55. So, now I’m looking at Robin’s face and my face together and we are the same age.

Then a vertical wrinkle starts to appear on Robin’s forehead. Then the same vertical wrinkle appears on my forehead. The wrinkles look nearly identical.

In the dream, I kept examining and studying the wrinkles on our foreheads that looked alike.

No words were exchanged during this dream. It was all symbolic communication.

That was the end of the dream.

When I woke up, I felt fascinated by this dream message and what Robin was trying to tell me. Since I missed him, he wanted to remind me of our similarities. It was so nice that he appeared in my dream as the same age I am now. But why give me a message about wrinkles on our forehead, lol?

Twin Soul Dream Interpretation: We Are One

Well, this dream reminded me of a story I read many years ago. It was about a twin soul couple that had physical traits that were identical. I found this story in a post called “Complete Description of the Twin Flame Connection,” by Angelique and Gaby of the blog Inspired Awareness.

Here is the story which is about how the Universe sends us synchronicity to confirm we are on the right path with our twin soul. It is about the female twin. The bold is mine for emphasis. I also created paragraphs differing from the original post for readability:

She was a young woman, had experienced an intense union with her twin soul and they had separated because of the intensity, so they only had a short relationship. The pain of separation was difficult and painful to deal with, but the woman felt she had to move on. At the time she did not fully understand the concept of twin souls and what all this meant, so she continued her life, hoping that one day the right man would come along and the next time she would have a different kind of relationship where she wouldn’t be faced with such a difficult and painful separation.

 

Her twin soul was a bit older than her. What happened was that her brother who really liked her twin soul had said about him that he looked older, had these wrinkles around his eyes and a dreamy look in his eyes. OK, the woman knew that he was about 4 years older than her, but this was not enough to make him old. He hadn’t passed the age of 40 nor 50 yet. He was a young man. One day the woman started working in a new place and co-worker of hers who were very friendly said without further reflection that she looked older, had these wrinkles around her eyes and a dreamy look in her eyes as well.

 

Now the woman knew that this was exactly what her brother had said about her twin and from then on she knew that she was going through a very special and mysterious time in her life. Her co-worker knew nothing of her twin soul experience. She hadn’t told anyone.

 

This synchronicity was actually meant to show her how she and her twin are ONE at the soul level. What could be said about him, could also be said about her. They are of the same energies. She was heading in the right direction even though she was separated from her twin soul. She was meant to meet him and was also meant to experience the separation she was facing. (1)

When I read this story again, I had remembered the part about the “dreamy look” in their eyes. But, I did not remember the part about the wrinkles around their eyes because it has been quite some time since I read this article. I thought the mention of wrinkles around their eyes was so interesting since I dreamt about wrinkles on Robin’s and my forehead.

It felt like the dream was referencing this article in some way. It was like the dream was meant to synchronize with this article in terms of the wrinkles. I feel the dream was primarily meant to bring me back to this article and it’s central message of oneness at the soul level. Robin would know that this dream would remind me of this article and story and that I would find it and read it again. I think the dream was meant to point towards the article because I don’t actually have a vertical wrinkle on my forehead at this time, unless I squint my eyes. 🙂 But, he was still trying to tell me something using the wrinkles as an example.

Missing You: Twin Soul Dreams

The dream I had of looking alike with identical wrinkles with Robin was meant to remind me that we are one at the soul level, just like the other twin soul pair experienced. I feel that my being drawn back to this article, because of the dream, was his way of delivering the message. I was given this message because I had missed him. What better way to help with that than to be given a message reminding me of our soul connection. It really did help me miss him less!

According to Raychel Ria Agramon, in the article, “Twin flame communication in dreams: Everything you need to know,” there are six reasons why your twin soul shows up in your dreams. One reason is that you miss them. Another reason is that they miss you too:

Your twin flame appearing in your dreams is their way of saying they miss and need you. They’re sending unique vibrations that occur in your dreams.

 

It’s similar to you missing them. They wish to be with you, and their vibrations are manifesting in your slumber. (2)

So, if your twin is alive and you are dreaming of them, they could be missing you. Since Robin is in spirit, I can’t say for sure if he missed me. From his vantage point, he can see what’s going on with me. But I know for sure that I was missing him the night before I had the dream of him, so I think that is why the dream message came to me.

Oneness and Soul Light

The predominant message I have received from Robin’s spirit over the years is that as souls, we are one. We did not look like we were one during our earthly incarnations. In fact, we lived in two completely different worlds. However, Soul has nothing to do with that. You can be one with another soul in terms of energy light vibration and not know it because you never meet. Worldly facades, masks and personas also conceal this deeper connection. So do large age differences, living in different countries, being of different racial/ethnic groups, different religions and different languages.

But then, one of you dies. And with God’s assistance, they will let you know the truth of your spiritual connection. At least that’s what happened to me after Robin died. He let me know in no uncertain terms about our eternal connection through various means of afterlife communication.

Though we have many things in common, especially our spirituality, the connection has deeper origins than things we have in common on an earthly level. The connection of twin souls, at its root, has to do with who we are as Beings of Light. The physical body is temporary and if you believe in reincarnation as I do, then we have had many of them. The Light of our Soul is enduring and eternal. This eternal Light of our deepest nature is the point of truest connection between twin souls and all souls.

Twin souls may or may not look alike. There is lots of variability when it comes to this topic. While it is amazing if you and your twin look alike, and I have seen some that do, ultimately it’s important to remember that it all comes down to the identical vibration of your spiritual essence. That’s what matters the most, at least to me.

The identical spiritual energies between you and your twin soul may show up physically. That is an added bonus which can serve to remind you of your oneness at soul level. But, even if they don’t manifest physically, that does not make you any less twin souls. There are many indicators of twin soul connections that go beyond identical physical traits.
